I saw the one truth band in Sydney oz. They were wonderful. I was seated above the stage and I will never forget McLaughlin's head fell back totally absorbed in his solo, and to my amazment his eyes went in the opposite direction to one another!

Yeah did see Carlos and the band in 1975 Empire theatre Liverpool.Never forget that concert,it was so intense.And dya know who the support was.It was none other than Maurice White and Earth Wind and Fire...That was a concert....😎👌🏾

Carlos Santana has a great sound and phrasing, he just doesnt have an idea of what he is doing. OTher than pentatonics and dorian scales. On the other hand John McLaughlin is a very resourceful and well studied musician
