The people that bought the beetle are my parents and I assure all of you that they will take amazing care of the beetle! They’ve been looking after our ‘Doris’ a t2 that’s in mint condition after all the work my dad has put into it!
What a beautiful "finale" to this series👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I am glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
What a series that was! Excellent work all round!
It looks like the UK has an incredible car culture and supporting small industry to keep them running!
Watching your various series makes me feel like I’m visiting my buddies garage.
Greetings from Southern Arizona.
Glad you are enjoying the videos, thank you
Great news mum must be happy
I loved this mini-series.
All parts of this series enjoyed that much - thank You sincerely for you excellent car work and filming - Ulrich from "Stromberger Veteranenfreunde, Baden-Wuerttemberg"
Absolutely loved this series. Been out the VW scene for probably 10 years now. Having seen your latest few series I’m now on the look out for a new car! Thank you
Love the 25 or 36hp cut-a-way engine
I'm loving it, this makes me smile and reminiscing.
If cars can have a soul, that one is happy again.
I think so, thanks
Yikes ! Had no idea she was worth so much . Must have been quite emotional saying goodbye but so nice the new custodians are going to take good care.......now get on with that Porsche !!!!! Thanks Dom and thankyou Jon . 💕
Brilliant! What a Team! You Two make the World a Better Place!
Thanks so much!
It’s so great that the new owners just want to enjoy it in its original form. Superb result ❤
The car went to a nice home. Looks like the lady really appreciates it.
Awesome 🤙
Thank you!
Nice to see my old bus in the footage of the outside vehicles... KHT998E - I owned this MANY years ago and it was sold to someone who has clearly done a TONNE of work to it since I had it as a daily runner back in the mid 90's - Great to see it's still alive!!
nice job guys glad to see she's going to a good home
Good to see the Beetle running and finding a new home. Nice to see what’s left of the Porsche at the NEC too!
Excellent video Dom & John. So pleased you sold your mums vw well done excellent show.
Great Video Dom. Great to see that the Oval has gone to a good home 👌😎🤙👍
I was thinking a while back that you would have to vet the potential new owner to ensure it would be going to a good home. Mission accomplished. Well done.
It’s couldn’t have gone to a better home!
A great series of videos Dom.
and now, after watching, .. Great show, coolest cars, perfect job, happiest new Beetle owners.
Great news!!!! I hope the new owners enjoy that lovely oval, I'm sure they will.
They are indeed!
We all love a happy ending 👏
Pleased the VW Beetle has gone to a good home. Another enjoyable video of the show.
What a show. Seventh heaven for any VW-phile. That hand cranked cutaway engine was great. Something like that goes a long way to teaching young folks about how mechanical things work. It can really help spark an interest in mechanics.
Mind blown! John looks about 10-15 years younger without his many layers and scrubbed up a bit. 👍
Great video, Dom & Jon, will miss the vlogs on the old oval, but glad its gone to a good home. Yous had a great day at Volksworld👍
These videos keep delivering a lovely dose of infectious joy.
Really appreciate it, thank you
She sounds wonderful great job guys from United States..
Thanks so much
Good ending. Looks like the new owner will enjoy a well peppered vw. Well dune all.
Glad it’s going to a good home. Bet mum’s pleased. 😊
Oh my word how did I not know this was on my doorstep!
Well done dom and John, you made the vw show and sold the bug, and congrats to the couple who bought it, you guys seen the work that went into it so you have a lovely record of everything that was done.
Been watching your UA-cam channel since the start, good to finally meet you and John, and onto the next project.
Thank you for supporting us!
Congrats to the new owners... bitter/sweet time to let her Bug go.
I am gutted but pleased at the same time!
Nice one Dom , great to see John again hope to see you both on another project together and glad you’re Mums old car has gone to a good home, oval and out, 👍👍.
Lovely ending to a great little series. Nice one guys.
Fantastic videos Dom…. Many thanks….
But £15k+ for beetle😳😳😳😳😳… my dumb is completely struck.
It’s a lot of money but it’s a rare car, you’d struggle to find another one for sale!
@@DominicChineas I,ve been out of touch on the car market for ages, and it obviously shows now I’ve looked the ol V-Dubs up again, a rare beasty indeed. Keep the vids coming Dom, am loving the Ranalah revival, I’d love to have a go at that.
Fantastic video Dom and Jon, doesn't everyone love a happy ending. Wonderful!
What a fabulous journey. Loved these episodes and, what a lovely ending. 💚
Makes me wish i had kept my 23 window sunroof bus, my 21 window sunroof, my 1966 sliding door bus, and my 67 dormobile camper (the only one i fully restored) 😟
Really lovely, so pleased everything worked out for your mum's car.
Dom and Jon- great work on saving another classic. I am super excited/relieved to see that she will be going to a loving home. Fantastic work, fellas-
And I hope that this is only the beginning of collaborations between you guys, your dynamic is fantastic…..it is obvious that you have been friends for a long time. Perhaps a sub-series with you two from time to time? Dom and Jon’s Classic-bash!
Thanks for sharing!
Brian “Thor” Thoresen
Yeah we have been friends for years! I hope we can do something else together soon! Thank you
@@DominicChineas thanks for the reply, mate! As a restorer of old junk (pun intended of course!) I appreciate all you guys do! If you are ever near St. Aug, beers on me!!!!!!!
Glad all parties are now happy.
Can you please please carry on with the speedster 🤞🏻
Fully confess I can't see the attraction of VWs but well done on the restoration. Hopefully some more progress on the Porsche to come, along with another appearance from Wendy.
Great video. Thanks for throwing my split in there 😜 Chris.
Is yours the dove blue one? Amazing!
looked at the 356 today its worse than I thought dom , Hats off mate
Ah glad you got to see it! Yeah it needs a lot of work!
@@DominicChineas Got every faith dom , love the bloody things
Great result 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We've been following your work on the bug and enjoyed each video, great to meet you and John at the NEC restoration show yesterday, Enjoyed our chat about the bug and the Porsche, all the best with panel van and the Porsche. cheers John and daughter Kate (mustang jacket)
Brilliant really glad she's gone to a loving home, oh for my birthday had your tool book on my Amazon list my kids brought it in today for me. Can't wait to start reading it. 👍
That’s so sweet of them, I hope you enjoy it
Wow, my old Notch is in the video. 52 seconds 😍
Absolutely lovely video thanks all!
Thank you for watching
Such a cool beetle, glad it’s found a good home, if i had somewhere to keep it inside I’d have loved to own it!
Glad to see mine and Mr Snowhite bakers bus in the vid .
Awesome bus!
That was very satisfying!
Makes me want to get one. Thanks for a great video as always
Great video as always, Dom. Glad the Oval has gone to a good home. Back on the Porsche next week?
Hi Dom & John, What can you say Fantastic enjoyed every minute, Great show, All the best Brian 😃
Thanks so much Brian
Mixed feelings for sure. Happy for your Mum and the new owners as I’m sure the sale will help her out and the new owners are getting a beautifully resuscitated oval with a rich history, but sad to see it leave the family.
Well done you two. Hopefully you got some inspiration for the 356 as it’s time to crack on with that again!
I'll miss seeing that beautiful oval! Great job on re-commissioning it and finding it a new home.
Great video and great result! Well done.
This is so awesome. So sad that you had to sell it, but at least you got to meet the new owner and hopefully will be able to stay in touch. The VolkWorld show looks awesome. Pretty sweet cars there. I have been seeing a few other videos from folks who went as well. Love seeing the slammed busses, they look so cool. I would never drop mine that low, so it's cool to see other people do it for me. jaaa😁
Congrats on the sale, appears to be going to a good home.
Hi dom really loved your videos on the oval Great to see it going to a good home where it will be loved and used vws get under your skin it can be hard to let them go but it's a new lease of life for her
Brilliant! ❤️
OK....the Porsche!
I am working on it, I need to save up!
👍😎
so nice its gone to lovely new owners. KR AndyT(UK)
I don't think those lowered campers would get 5 miles here in West Cumbria. Either the speed humps, potholes or humpback bridges would do for them.😁
I Was Hoping The New Owner Would Mess With You & Say The Plan Is To Chop & Slam Or BajaThat Amazing Oval!! 🤣
👍
Thanks for the video. Off topic, what is the old motor cycle that. we have been seeing in the workshop ? Looks very interesting.
It’s an old bsa! You’ll see more soon hopefully..
@@DominicChineas Thanks. That sounds very interesting. Hopefully the A10 will also feature sometime: I'd love one of those after enjoying the B31 I had years ago.
When you going to grow either your hair or your beard to match Johns? The hairy Bug-ers has quite a ring to it! Great content as ever chaps.
🤗👍👏👏👏
You may not have filmed it but you can't fool us, we know you bought another project.
Should the 55 a color Wolfsburg Crest
How much longer to finish the 356?
Where's the burger's Dom?
We had the burger!! I just didn’t film it, it was delicious
🇧🇷😎👏🚗
LOL Just a techy shame it wasn't 286 CPU 😁
A few people have said it’s a good reg, I don’t get it?!
@@DominicChineas LOL, 80286 was a CPU (Central Processing Unit) - known as the Intel 286 used in the first PC - nothing to do with a VW Beetle of course, pretty much a sad fact - hence the 286 CPU comment - maybe I need to get out more :-)
Is it just me or did anyone else find it out seeing John out in the wild among other people. That is probably not the right turn of phrase and I mean no disrespect to Honest John but it was different. Great episode though.
först! greetings from Vienna. always amusing and great fun!
Interesting, a swedish greeting from Vienna! ;-)
@@Thulken -unintentionally! the most swedish here is a can of surströmmings in my fridge (brother lost a bet) 😆
