IMO Deadpool 2 is better. They really upped the ante. When the movie started and Deadpool was killing the criminals, it felt like am extension to DP1. But after Vanessa's death, the movie shifted gears. All the characters have been given much more depth except Negasonic. Plus there were plenty of surprises like the opening sequence of Deadpool blowing himself up, X Force dying too soon, the post credits scenes,Juggernaut etc as compared to the first one where the only scene that took me by surprise was Deadpool cutting his hand off. Plus the soundtrack is way better. That's not even a contest. The story felt much more personal and intriguing than the first one. But where DP2 falls flat in comparison to the first one is that Deadpool seems to be nerfed in this one. The other characters shone in their action sequences like Cable, Collosus, Domino etc. But Deadpool's action choreography had taken a massive step back. Also there was less 4th wall breaking in this one as compared to the first one. But with all that out of the way, Deadpool movies have quickly become my top 5 favorite superhero movies with the 2nd movie occupying the top spot and these movies shouldn't be missed by anyone IMO.
I’ve always preferred DP1 over DP2. I feel like DP1 has that perfect sweet spot of dark comedy and heart. And that’s because of the involvement of Tim Millar and the relationship between Wade and Vanessa. It had a great balance to it all along with the bloody action. In DP2, the jokes often came off a little, try hard at least to me it did. Going too far to sounds hardcore/f^cked up for the sake of it. Rather than them coming out as natural as they did in the 1st DP. It didn’t make me laugh as much. And without Tim Millar and Vanessa, that balance is no longer there. I’m not saying DP2 is a bad movie by any stretch of the imagination. But it did lack the heart that the 1st DP has. Hell, I’ve probably watched it at least 8 times so far. And it’s very, VERY rare for me to watch a movie more than 2 times in the amount of time I‘be been watching Deadpool
i was going to comment the exact same thing, the first one is just fun as heck and it does have heart, the second one is pretty good but it just felt like a simple movie and it wasn't as bizarre as the first one
I think the story for Deadpool 2 is better because when you really think about it, the whole film is about Deadpool and his journey to acceptance They even mention the Kubler Ross model in the film
Wait, Ajax never shows himself to be the kind of guy who would enjoy torturing someone? He literally says “I’ll do this to you not because I have to, but because I want to”. He does kind of get a kick of hurting people, maybe because he can’t feel anything, physically. I mean, anyone who would make it his primary job to hurt people, probably is into it, it never seems like he’s forced to do it.
@@EricCarter12the part we’re domino dodging the crashing cars was meant to look so bad as Deadpool kind of breaks the fourth wall and says it’s not very cinematic, the bad cgi was intentional for that joke.

I think the first one has better, more memorable fight scenes. (highway fight, 12 bullets, looking for francis, dead pool vs ajax) the fights in dead pool 2 are pretty forgettable tbh
True, but Wade could have easily had the power dampening collar taken off but he insisted that they leave it on. If the situation required him to keep it on then that would make sense but the fact that he insisted to keep it on means he CHOSE to die. So Cable didn't need to save him when he could have easily been saved if one of them took the collar off.
Antagonist - a person who actively opposes or is hostile to someone or something; an adversary. Often to the protagonist. Antagonist does not always mean villain

Great video, DeadPool 2 is easily the best film has the better story and plot, it's more complex and emotional than the first. Also Vanessa isn't DeadPool's wife.
When u talked about John wick type of scenes in Deadpool 2 it reminded me of that one part in the Deadpool 2 where in the beginning credits where it said “directed by one of the guys that killed the dog in John wick”
Read upto the end: Deadpool 2 just same as other sequels usually do, expanding its universe but that the sequels creates do and time passed, it became a cliche. But, keeping this negative aspect aside in a forgotten corner, Deadpool 2 is more impressive and watchable and lovable and funnier than the Deadpool. It is undoubtedly one of the best sequels ever, with expanding the title hero's character. Some may feel it is a dark one, but we can stiil enjoy it because of its superb humors.
christo alphonse joshy in my opinion Deadpool 2 is funnier, but the first movie has a better story and is original. Deadpool 2 is a cross between the first movie and Terminator 2. DP2 tries to maintain the same humor and atmosphere as the first movie, but the plot in its simplest form is pretty much the same as T2.
