You would be right, im just reposting another persons comment since it was very well explained, @nouryounes3201 1 day ago imane has a rare disorder called DSD- Differences in sex development is a set of rare conditions involving genes, hormones and reproductive organs that can cause the sexual development of a person to be different than others. Sometimes, this can lead to a person having XY chromosomes but develop otherwise female. in imanes case she has the XY chromosome but developed as a female with female genitalia. the xy chromosome doesn't do anything to someone developing as a woman. its suppressed its just that she has more testosterone wich is normal
@@idreamofabikeeveryday that's what I thought, I mean she cannot compete against men, she has lost matches against women so a man would probably kill her. I don't know what to say, because I couldn't imagine what I'd do if my child was in the same situation and frankly you might never know until they are tested.
@@philosopherlady434 like you said, she has bean beaten by women, so in my opinion its fair for her to compete against women, another thing is that the italian girl (i forgot her name my bad) has a history of crying and making a scene when she gets beaten, from what ive heard Imane has been training 7 days a week to be able to make it to the olympics so i feel like she deserved her win (she even seemed confused when the italian gave up the fight
@@idreamofabikeeverydayfrom the evidence available it seems these boxers may have the same DSD as the runner Caster Semenya, which is called 5 ARD syndrome. Their genetalia at birth is not typical but these individuals have internal testes that gives them male levels of testosterone and therefore they go through male puberty. They produce sperm and not ova. These individuals are scouted for in poorer countries and are over represented in sports as they have the advantages of testosterone fueled puberty and enhanced performance.
As a muslim i need to clarify this, Iman comes from Algeria which an Islamic country so there’s no way they would allow a trans individual represent their country.

That's how human's sex is formed with chromosomes, but the Sodomic Science knows best. The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy. This is the reason why the whole world is Sodom. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our loved ones again! :-)
Iman Khalif is a woman. She is not transgender. She is from Algeria. We know her well since she was young. She previously participated in the Tokyo Olympics and in many tournaments and won many gold medals, most recently in the last World Championship in America in 2024. The test they are using as an excuse is for an international tournament held in India 2022, and there was corruption and corruption in it. When Iman Khalif qualified for the final, she was eliminated due to a genetic test, but the federation organizing the tournament did not disclose the type of test. See the tournament statement that year, you will find it saying a secret test that we will not disclose, and that is of course. Part of the collateral so that boxing cannot believe in the act of stabbing and investigating, and this left interpretations for everyone, who said a high testosterone test and who said a chromosomal test, but nothing was mentioned in the statement, and after a short period of time after the end of the Indian championship, the Olympic Committee withdrew its recognition. From that association organizing the 2022 Indian Championship, it was considered permanently dissolved due to corruption cases, including the case of Iman in that tournament, which was deprived of it by its exclusion.
Memeber of the Holland Team if I am not mistaken. He was accused and sentenced to 2 years - at least that was written in the article I have found. I do not remember the name unfortunately. And people DO talk about it.
Why would we concern ourselves with someone from another country that has already been punished for what they did? Their country decided the punishment was fitting. Nothing more constructive can be done. Leave it alone. This is why people arent focused on it
Oh no they can define what a woman is, when convenient. Now you have all the left saying women have V's, but a week ago also "trans men" had V's. So they are inderectly admitting that trans men aren't real? Anyways.
Bret… wth… she is Algerian… Algeria doesn’t do any of the woke lgbtq bs. She is born a woman. And has lost multiple boxing matches with other women. The women she lost were bigger than the girl that was fighting for Italy.
It's shocking how many people are agreeing with the false accusations and engaging in cyberbullying. It's also disturbing that no one is talking about the r@pist who was allowed to compete in the Olympics, and even more so that those supporting ge//nocide were permitted to participate.
Yeah I'm socially conservative too but not American/Western so I know this is bs. Americans/Westerners think their problems are the world's problems. But non-Western countries don't typically have this woke shit (my country does have it to some extent thanks to Western influence but that's not the point). As far as I know LGBTQ stuff is illegal in Algeria so if an Algerian like Imane Khelif says that she is female I'm going to believe that.
Oh willi, I had people demanding scientific meanings and then laughing saying "don't believe everything you see on the internet", about those exact same meanings. The world has gone insane. Is scary to have people laughing and denying reality, more scary is the amount of people backing up that nonsense.
When an average 5 year old can tell the difference between boys and girls and grown adults need to debate the subject, you know something has gone seriously wrong with society.
The issue here is that one cannot base their views on something as subjective as your perception alone. That athlete was born a woman with both xx chromosomes and remains so. Like you said, only children use methods as basic as sight

I got bothered with the green agenda of the Olympics which forced many athletes in the Olympic village to seek lodgings in nearby hotels. Why? First, no air conditioning. They have some strange water system that they claimed would keep the buildings cool, but don't. Then there are the "green" beds that are nothing more than three couch cushions sitting on cardboard boxes. Finally, there is the food than is not enough or nutritious enough to fuel an athletes dietary needs. They are essentially starving the Olympic athletes.
Yet France wants to lecture the rest of the world regarding climate concerns?? Riiiight. This coming from a country that has Olympic athletes swimming in a cesspool they call a river.

All this issue boils down to the fact the there is a 'war' between the IOC and the IBA. In all other sports the IOC lets the international governing organization of the sport to handle things, even during the Olympics. However the IBA was accused several times of being corrupt, and Russian-biased. It has some merit though, as the IBA has a Russian president and the organization's biggest sponsor is Gasprom. (The disqualification of Khelif and Lin during the world championship last year happened right after one of them beat a Russian boxer. Also needless to say, IBA disagreed with the disqualification of Russian and Belorussian athletes from the Olympics.) The issue of intersex athletes competing as female is not new (eg. Caster Semenya). The difference is that now is a culture war going on regarding gender identity, and also boxing is a full contact sport, so there is a risk of injury. The IOC actually made quite a progress with partner organizations of other sports to screen out intersex people from competing as females, however since they ruled IBA out, they had to organize a task force to handle the boxing competitions. That lead to an oversight that female boxers only required a passport to compete and now they just cover their asses. The solution for the future will be either the boxing community replaces IBA with another organization that IOC accepts, or boxing will not be part of the Olympics in the future.
People tend to forget that the IOC didn't accepted Lia Thomas in women's swimming competitions The problem about the two boxing athletes it's a political war between the ICO and the IBA It has nothing to do with sport
In Taiwan, all babies would grant an id number when they’re born. The first digit of TW id card represents the gender when they are born. The id number is NOT ALLOWED to change until the death. Male babies registered from 1xxx and female babies would be 2xxx. Lin s id number in Taiwan starts from 2 which means she has been a female since she was born. Who would know back then that one day she would be a boxer? This is a fact that the character of her Chinese name are all female characters - ‘Yu’ 郁 means flowers scent and ‘Ting’ 婷means female graceful gesture with a girl 女on the side. This is her birth name that never changed. I m stating the fact but not stereotypes.
So it's a fact they made a mistake. Because Taiwan made a mistake, doesn't mean he should be allowed to punch women or compete in women's sports. Y chromosome is, definitively, not a woman. It's not debatable.

Wow. What disrespect to her country! Why aren’t some Americans keen to sing the National Anthem? I’ve always thought Americans are so proud of their anthem, the meaning behind the song… I was clearly wrong.
And having traded for her, she’s been very vocal in her appreciation. She’s stood for the national anthem saying it “hits differently.” Moreover, I think a citizen refusing to stand for the national anthem is a very powerful way to peacefully protest. Unlike a Supreme Court Justice flying the flag upside down. That’s far more traitorous.

I am a doctor, and I affirm that Iman Khalif is a woman based on scientific studies. The only difference is that she has a high level of the male hormone testosterone, which does not make her a man. I wonder when you will understand how unfair it is to real women who do not have the male hormone in them, these boxers have a clear advantage, they look like men, they are strong like men and they fight like men, such people should not take part in competitions this is a blatant fraud and scandal, real women have to work hard for their success and he has a big advantage from the beginning, Ban for such "women" in sports
Everything I've been able to find says that Imane has a y chromosome and is intersex. If that's true imane shouldn't be able to compete. Boxing has always strived for a level of fairness which is why there are weight classes and anti dope policies. the logic is wrong tho, people can be born with xy chromosomes and still be a women, its called dsd or swyer syndrome, in the case of swyer syndrome there is no advantage of disadvantage, the fight may not have been fair but the argument is valid, people like u say its just biology but dont even understand how complex the biology is, there is different conditions that require attention and consideration, just because someone has xy chromosomes doesnt mean they are biologically a male as in this case.
@@unknowing5818the two women mentioned in this video are both biologically female. With proof on google that goes further than what a random Russian boxer said. Whether or not that means the criteria is unknown to me, but the misinformation here is that they are biologically male. They are not.
You don't believe in the truth tho. You believe the lies that are being spread. These women were both BORN female. They just happen to look a little more masculine and the tests they failed are already being criticised because they are based on flawed science. Guess what? Women's hormones fluctuate, and there are phases in the cycle, where testosterone production is higher than normal. Any person with a basic education could tell you that. There was a big issues in the 1950's and 1960s with men competing in woman's sports and some governments even made passports and new birth certificates (backdated) for these people, which is why in the 1960's the Olympics started to require tests for what sex they are. So him saying that the Olympics always based it on passports is total bs
In 1976 Princess Anne was the only female athlete exempt from the physical examination to prove her gender, because she was a super special princess... 🤨 After women fought for so long and so hard for the right to participate in sports, it sucks to see it destroyed.
Are you sure it was men pretending? I recall the E. German and Polish women were given steroids and testosterone that was so excessive they eventually looked like men and decided to transition, not because they wanted to, but because they didn't pass as a woman anymore.
@@sunnybayliss3221 When did women fight to play sports? They have been in the Olympics since it started, and there has always been womens sports in western countries.
@tubester4567 women HAVE had to fight to be included in sports. Just take the modern Olympics: The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens, Greece from April 6-15, 1896, and were open to all MALE athletes. The 280 participants came from 12-14 nations, including the United States, Greece, Germany, France, and Great Britain, and competed in 43 events across nine sports and 10 disciplines. The events included track and field, swimming, gymnastics, cycling, wrestling, weightlifting, fencing, shooting, and tennis.
There used to be very strict sex verification in the Olympics. But it's a bit of a dark past as it has cause a lot of psychological problems for the athletes. Females athletes had to undergo a obgyn exam to verify they had a vg, and then there was a second visual exam, colloquially called the "nude parade".
As a Russian too, I also feel glad for not to participating these Olympics. But I'm not glad about WHY we don't participate. It's so absolutely disgusting and hypocritical! Every speech about freedom and democracy are so ridiculous now!
I mean you guys can celebrate half a million body bags and just as many mothers who have lost their sons. But here you are smirking over some stupid non event, pretty much shows the type of culture you have
Hey. Med Student (MD) here in the US who also taught genetics in college and is currently going over it all for the IHD NBME test I’ve got coming up. Want to add to the discussion. TLDR: Imane Khelif is biologically female (edited to this instead of "Imane Khelif is a woman" because she identifies as a woman, which she does not have to prove anything to do. Poor initial word choice on my part), until definitively proven otherwise, and should be allowed to compete, as she and all her competitors agreed to the same rules and criteria prior to the fights they are now competing in. My explanation: Yes, I’m green at medicine, but I’m well informed enough to speak on this. What I do know is this: there are four relevant criteria for determining a biological male: They have an X chromosome (doesn’t matter how many, but you need at least one), a Y chromosome (that isn’t mutated and can translate functional, correct proteins needed to be male), a functioning SRY gene (healthy Y chromosome is a moot point without this, it’s needed for the cascade of male genes to be transcribed in the first place during embryonic development), and, while the three prior constitute being genetically male, this last criteria is still biologically necessary: the person needs to be androgen sensitive, which means they need to be able to respond to testosterone. Without responding to testosterone, you’ll be XY and SRY functional (so, genetically male) but you won’t present male because your body can’t correctly respond to the hormone signaling it to produce all the things that help make a biological male biologically male. You can have mutations in the Y gene that render it non functional, or it can be literally physically broken, or you can have a disease that affects it, etc. But generally with the 4 above, you will be biologically, physically male. So, in other words, the IBA saying, after years of conducting this test on Imane Khelif (she has been competing in the IBA competitions since 2018 and under the current administration since 2020) that she is disqualified only then in 2023 when they have been giving this test to her since 2018 is heavily suspicious. Especially since all they are saying is XY. There is no information given about her SRY, her testosterone sensitivity, her bone density, muscle mass, etc, any of the factors that would make men competing against women unfair. In the absence of that information, Imane Khelif has been beaten by 9 women before. No one she has defeated has been paralyzed, permanently harmed, etc. One showed her bruises, but there is nothing to suggest these bruises from boxing are out of the ordinary or particularly severe. Or, if these are severe for the sport, there is no evidence to suggest this is NOT due to her lack of skill, her constitution, Imane Khelif’s skill, etc, or all of the above. Amy Broadhurst, a woman who defeated Imane Khelif, defeated her and supported her, as well. So if anyone has experience with women’s boxing and can attest to the aforementioned woman’s claim of severity, sound off, but I have not seen it yet. What I am sure about is Imane Khelif’s XY status didn’t matter to the IBA until she defeated a Russian boxer in 2023. The IBA by then was under the new administration starting in 2020, which was under Russian influence. They gave her another test, deep into the 2023 competition, the same one they gave her before it started, and all of a sudden she is considered male and now ineligible. If you want more detail on it: www.reddit.com/r/bestof/comments/1ejegbl/urampantnroaring_gives_the_backstory_about/ (click the link from this page) Point is, Imane Khelif is not biologically male until proven otherwise, and no tests have done so. She has not permanently harmed anyone in the sport, she has not been shown in the five years of her competing with the IBA to have an insane advantage over her competitors, and I hope she and all her opponents in the years to come experience fair fights, fair leadership, and good health. To reiterate, all Olympians are genetically exceptional. Imane Khelif may be moreso than others. If she truly has an unfair advantage, I hope rule changes are fair and protect all the competitors. All of them are fighting with an unfair genetic deck, in the sense all Olympians have incredible genetics or at least likely do, but no one deserves to be disqualified on unfair grounds or to have to compete against a truly (statistically significant) unfair advantage in a sport they trained their whole life for. That’s all. Thanks.
PAST testosterone levels can't be adjusted, and those would have a huge effect on a person's physiology. A woman who gets caught doping more than one is banned for life for that very reason..
To make matters worse, not all intersex people with XY chomosomes go through male puberty. 😁 But the ones that do, they can adjust their testosterone levels all they want, they will always have the advantage, and this means they will differ from regular females in bone density and muscle mass.
@@LordViktorHun88exactly it's been proven since the 90s they no longer identify ppl with this disorder as female at birth despite having no working sexual organs or penis. Because after puberty they resemble men. From hair growth to muscle density. Like a vast majority go male. And they know this. They literally exploited a well known disorder in Islamic and Asian countries where this disorder is prevalent, to gain a gold medal. So she will forever have to fake being a female despite looking and being a male. Honestly I believe they are messed up for making them female at birth. But that just proves xx chromosomes are the prototype from which xys were created. You can have no working reproductive organs and be a female. Not a male. Say less. I don't think they realize that's the narrative they're actually selling. But any person with a y chromosome even 1 is a male. Despite calcified testes and gonads and no penis. Not a woman.

Her name, with the character 婷, means "beautiful woman." If you watched the match, you’d see it was judged fairly based on skill. All five judges unanimously gave Lin top scores, affirming her efforts. We stand by Lin Yu-Ting, who began boxing to protect her mother. Now, Taiwan stands by her against cyberbullying and false accusations. Legal actions are being taken to address the rumors and disinformation. #IStandWithLinYuTing
I just can't believe how many people are cyberbullying Lin, including all these famous individuals, without any proof from the IBA. It's devastating and cruel to Lin.
I don’t know if this is the case but some males have been incorrectly assigned female at birth due to having ambiguous genitalia or genitalia that appear female Later during puberty or when trying to get pregnant they find out they are males They were raised female. Some continue as female and may take estrogen to appear more feminine Some choose to identify as males as they look like males due to having undescended testes which produce testosterone They are considered biological males with a genetic and/or hormonal abnormality
@@eily_b The Olympics is running this year without any boxing organisation because of an unrelated controversy with the IBA - which is why IBA's previous accepted rulings are now being ignored.
This has absolutely nothing to do with France. The opening ceremony did. But the sports events themselves are exclusively run by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
This proves these conservatives are as braindead as the liberals they are fighting against. Of all the woke ass countries, Taiwan and Algeria are the countries that have trans athletes? They are more conserved than any western conservatives would ever be regarding the transgender issue.
Chromosomes are not inherently visible. It’s entirely possible the boxer also has testicles that haven’t descended and are therefore not visible. Brett never implied the boxer went through a gender change, they were just labeled incorrectly. However they label via what they had and what they could see which unfortunately wasn’t everything. The boxer is a man. Theres an episode of House that covers this exact situation.
Conditioning plays a big part in all this. If you raise boy to be a femboy all his life, when he becomes and adult femboy, he will lose to women once in a while. His body isn't conditioned to compete at male standards even though it is capable of doing so. Has Imane been knocked out in any of those losses I wonder. Caitlyn Clark is dominating the WNBA because she spent her whole life competing against men, and losing a lot. But her body is conditioned for the men's basketball court which trivializes the women's court.
@@Urrellesshe lost in international boxing, Olympic only has 3 rounds and number of punches landed counts. If she couldn't knock her opponent out she'll lose if the other girl has more punches landed. The final fight was boring as hell anyway and both fighters aren't good
The IOC is not an official sporting committee they're an organisation that have zero correlation with any official sporting associations and they are allowed to make their own decisions for the Olympics they haven't conducted any official testing or medical testing on those 2 athletes but chose to make their decision based on looking at documents ie passports etc
The have what looks like an untouchable monopoly that is already boasting about being above all politics. No one organization should be able to claim the name "Olympics" as a trademark. The name should be stripped of any international protection and let the market decide.
But men are not allowed in women categories by their own rules. Concerns have been raised about various athletes so the only way theycan correct this is by doing sex tests. Else the Olympics committee comes of as corrupt & political driven.
Both boxes accused of being male have cleared several tests before. They only failed this highly questionable test last year. They were tested before the competition (no XY detected) then they were tested AGAIN after beating a few opponents. The second test happened after Imane beat Azalia Amineva (a Russian fighter undefeated at the time). Due to the alleged test results, Azalia kept her undefeated status. Taking into consideration that the IBA president is Russian, the main sponsor is Gazprom, and the association operates out of Russia... Also the IBA was permanently banned from organizing Olympic boxing events in 2016, after years of corruption scandals.

I’m come from Taiwan 🇹🇼. I just want to ask, how can Taiwan, a country that cannot even have its name or image appear on the field, possibly persuade its way through multiple levels of international organizations to send a MAN to compete in a women's competition?
The same thing with algeria, and in algeria is even illegal to be trans. They just want to hate on anyone thats not white or from a Western country to be more specific.
Because IBA is an integral part of China. More than 90% of IBA officials are Russians, mainly with Russian funds and Chinese funds. You can Google: IBA President paying official visit to China. From the news, you can vaguely know that Chinese sponsorship has secretly given IBA a lot of money. Therefore, at the IBA press conference a few days ago, it is not surprising that the IBA chairman repeatedly mentioned: Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Lin Yuting has been training boxing for more than 10 years. In the earlier era, she was not strong enough and almost always won smaller awards. She had no international reputation at that time. She participated in more than 10 international competitions in 10 years. All international physical examinations and gender examinations were normal, and there was no Any rumors of gender controversy. About 2-3 years ago, Lin Yuting began to win several international medals due to her intense training. Media from various countries around the world began to call Lin Yuting the "representative of Taiwanese female boxers." A certain country discovered that the world was beginning to see Taiwan, and even "Taiwan representative Lin Yuting" was very likely to win this Olympic female boxing championship. This was what they were afraid of. Then, rumors suddenly emerged that Lin Yuting was accused of gender ambiguity. Is this all a coincidence? Even so far, the "gender physical examination report" claimed by IBA for Lin Yuting is still "confidential" and has not been made public so far. I think that in the future, half a century later, when people look back at this period of history, they will be able to understand how the democratic world was defeated by authoritarian regimes. This is an international-level brainwashing campaign, and most people have already fallen into the trap.
There are lots of Taiwanese here who blindly support Lin Yu Ting. I know you people want to defend your own boxers, so you come up with a lot of sophistry for her. But come on! XX is female, and XY is male. It's all that simple. You guys have long wanted your small island to be more internationally known, and now you have achieved it-in a negative way.
As a medical student I literally cannot say "a woman is a person with XX chromosomes" under my real name because I can potentially face disciplinary action from my medical school. That's how insanely woke medical education has become nowadays.
@@imays12 Yes, I have learned about conditions such as AIS and Klinefelter's syndrome. In fact, I would suspect that those boxers have AIS, which would mean they're biologically male, not female. Regardless, it's ridiculous to change the definition of woman that applies to 99.999% of women because of an extremely rare genetic disorder.

I'm usually with you and I subscribed but it's sad you didn't research this topic, instead you ran to the internet very ill informed. I'm African, in my country it's literally illegal to practice homosexuality, Algeria another African country is very strict, you can literally be hanged. That boxer is a biological female--period. Not a transgender person. Look at her pictures as a child, a little bit of Google will clear this up. She has high testosterone levels like Barbara Banda a Zambian striker who has just broken records at the current Olympics and Castor Semenya a South African athlete who also looks male but very biological female. Next time research a little bit more.
Your comment is not entirely correct. She was born with the genetic anomaly of possessing both male and female chromosomes, but neither distinctly male or female genitalia. So, was assigned female at birth, and raised as female. She still possesses the unfair advantage of the male chromosomes dictating physicality. That is an issue. It poses a danger to entirely biological females. Sorry. But that's the bottom line for me. If there are male chromosomes, or male hormones, no competing in female divisions. Previously, If a female athlete was found to have elevated levels of male hormones, she'd be accused of "doping" and banned from competing. Consistency is needed here.
If Angela Carini's 46 second tap out is your basis, then you should definitely check out her 2020 Olympics tap out! Girl literally pretends to trip herself and then hugs her leg crying that she twisted it. then blames her 2020 loss on her fake injury.
@@HigumaHoney the fact that the two in question already signed papers saying they failed the proper gender test to qualify does it for me the two failed test does it for me they may not be technically men nor women and maybe intersex it still doesn’t change the fact that they failed to qualify to box as female.
But they won’t do this. Instead they are encouraging this behavior by saying they will take on anyone who steps in the ring and have cocky attitudes thinking they are better then men, then when they lose and complain they then apologize for being “phobic” like Carini did. Matt Walsh did a great video today breaking down how it’s these female athletes fault for letting this happen and encouraging it to continue to happen.
Most of them are either afraid to resist, or are so brainwashed as to believe that they can beat a man. The Bulgarian woman who lost today is one such example.
@@Mjcaboose117 In a past interview with Taiwanese news channels, Lin states when she won her 2023 bronze medal, the IBA forced her to sign papers in a foreign language without a translation on hand. When she realized the papers were to admit she's a man and to relinquish the medal she won, she contested the IBA's ruling but was ignored. Lin also competed in the IBA tournaments for several years prior, but somehow the recent tournament was the only one that tested she is male, but the IBA won't disclose which gender test they administered? Pretty fishy.
No im watching because this is what real equality looks like. 1) it’s women who have spent decades claiming they can do anything men can do and are just as strong, fast, tough etc as men. 2) the female athletes are refusing to speak out against this, have repeatedly said they aren’t afraid and will defeat anyone female or male who steps into the ring, and instead are apologizing after speaking out now saying men are very much welcome in their sports. If the female athletes won’t say no to this and willingly step into the ring, then why should the rest of us care? They are consenting adults. They made their choice, aren’t we supposed to be respecting these women’s right to choose/make their own decisions? If they want to fight men, let them. I will gladly watch and keep making bank off the matches
Thank goodness the IOC checked the passports of the athletes in question instead of going by the science, otherwise, we’d never know their true biology. Good job IOC 🙄

First of all, this is a ridiculous argument. This is a progressive combat sport where one fights one's way up through rankings. To not suffer a loss is extremely rare, even for the most elite. Also these losses were at the hands of such women who went on to be gold medal Olympic champions of that year. Unfair advantage doesn't make one unbeatable. It increases their odds of not losing.😅 Edit : & yes, you are wrong. The boxer failed gender testing 2X.
There's no record of her ever having female genitalia. Have you seen her fight? Honestly she's terrible. The only reason she could win is super strength, in Olympic boxing it's about how much punch you land not how much damage you cause, it's only 3 rounds

in fact, Yu-Ting and the Taiwan boxing association DID submit a formal medical report proffing her to be female, but was ignored by the iba. with reason unknown, untill this conference, "Taiwan is a part of China." I quote. so yu-ting's problem is not really if she has XY in her DNA after all you're all welcome to research a bit more on the IBA, who found the IBA, who is running the IBA and the IBA's history. if you have some free time, you can also check out *when* the two boxers were disqualified, right after beating a certain country.
I can't speak for Imane Khelif, but keep in mind Algeria is not America. They are very conservitive and it's litterly agains the law to do a sex change let alone compete in international competitions as the oppisite sex.
IBA gave a very shady statement. Who knows where did IBA submit the report to? To China or Taiwan? Maybe just like he mentioned, “Taiwan is a part of China”, so he probably submit the report and gave 21 days to protest to China. 😂 China and Russia are BBF 🫶🤣
As an Algerian women am extremely disappointed that you didn’t do your proper research before talking about Iman She’s a women she just have a condition wish is natural her body her nature and she can’t change that Plus we believe there is two genders male and female.
It's Imane with an e at the end. You are right, there are only two genders and since she has a XY chomosome combination she is a biological male and was probably misgendered at birth. That happens sometimes. She has the right to go through life as a female no problem. But she went through male puberty so she became taller, got broader shoulders and a higher muscle to fat ratio in her tissues. She has no vulva, no uterus, no ovaries and she will never have a period or bare children. I don't want to offend her or you but I don't think at is fair to allow biological males fight against females, it is even dangerous. That is why in boxing we also use weight classes so people don't accidentally kill someone else.
It’s so gross how people are now saying if you’re born a biological woman, raised as a woman and is a woman but you have higher testosterone levels you are exempt as being treated as one, which is so damaging. Also it all stemmed from Imane beating a Russian boxer and they’re the ones who came out with all this mess. People need to think more logically
Brett, Title 9 was about protecting womens sports. Unfortunately, this was done back when woman and female were synonymous. The agitators have, unfortunately, used language to muddy the waters to change what woman means. Maybe it is time to introduce Title 20, or the protection of biological females, to combat the delusional. My wife came up with the idea of Title 20, otherwise known as Title XX. Y you might ask? Nope. Don't question us. No Y's allowed.
That will never happen because women won't vote for it. If you're looking for the driving force behind this lunatic agenda, it's overwhelmingly women. It makes it rather difficult to care when they are faced with the consequences of their own delusions.
Ehh, it was still a Trojan horse to pull money from men's sports into women's sports. Funnily enough, it is why men's gymnastics programs are disappearing. They have lower appeal than other male sports, so they are cut in favor of popular women's sports to keep funding ratios within title 9. The spirit of protecting women's sports is valid, but any of these funding laws have so many hooks built into them.
Why not make a third Intersex League where these two can beat the sh** out of each other and both walk away with either Gold or Silver? It’s such an exceeding rare condition, so it would be a small addition to the Male and Female events. Then women are protected, these two get their ego fulfilled by being world class boxers in their league and everyone can move on! I’m a genius.
And you're going to pay for this? Because not enough people are going to pay to watch. Woman's sports are subsidized by mens. Hell most MENS sports are subsidized by a few men's sports. Basically football and to a lesser extent basketball. The Olympics relies on a few sports to not lose too much money. Plus these men want to win so they fight woman. They don't want to fight other men. That's the whole point. Yeah not so genius...
The problem is in your statement there. It's such a rare condition that there would be a much smaller pool of athletes in general for such a division, let alone in boxing. If it were to exist, boxers like Khelif would have very little to no competitions at all. So it would not only be less entertaining but it would be almost easy to win since there's so few competition.
You are the one who is not informed. Looking like a woman doesn't make her into one. She has xy chromosomes she is a he. And even in case she isn't, she is LIKE another gender, meaning her competing is inherently unfair.

Seriously. The POINT of a category is to exclude. The Inclusion cult has gone so far they'd rather have competitions that include everyone instead of fair competitions.
What's the reason we have 'Special Olympics'? Just add a new category for these 'both sets of chromosomes' people, so they can more fairly compete against each other.
I agree since we have different categories based on their weight to ensure fairness... i mean the sports game banned testerones med because they knew it will benefit. Its just a new way of accepting and ensuring its fairness. From what the latest news, tgey are indeed females who has DSD, more testerones and their body works differently, they are indeed much stronger than woman. The olympic has to make new rules to protect all the participants.

I think if a person is born with male body parts is going to compete in any physical sport, he should compete in mens divisions only, due to his male strength. If he's afraid to compete against another born males, then stay out of competion sport, especially olympics.

I am sad for him, if that was something important to him. Intersex is not transgender, and I watched a YT doc on intersex that opened my eyes. They to this day get no respect still and things like this were common--a LOT of babies went through gender assignment surgeries where the parents picked a gender, never knowing what their body was best suited for. For the comfort of OTHER people. Not only these days do we have people doing this by CHOICE like a BADGE OF HONOR and calling themselves victims, but they use intersex people to prove that transgender is real---even though "transgender" people will NEVER be intersex or know their struggles. I worked for a government health agency for two decades looking at births in my province. While it is not super duper common, intersex children are born with regularity.

Women should start pulling out of these competitions. No fights, no audience, no money, no competition. Organizations will change their "mind" very quickly.
I’ve enjoyed your other videos, but I found this one to be biased. It would be helpful if you could provide proof of the tests that supposedly show they are men. At the IBA conference, no evidence was presented-only a statement that ‘they failed the results.’ Is it fair that the IBA only tested four boxers and singled out just two who happened to defeat Russian opponents? What more can these boxers do beyond providing their local certifications to show they are women? What kind of test should they undergo to avoid being judged again? Should they have to expose their bodies publicly to prove themselves? It’s concerning that women now have to defend their own gender in this way. What a world.
2:30 if it was so clear, then why can’t the IBA tell what specific test this was, and why can’t it share more specifics regarding it. Isn’t the IBA essentially run by a Russian oligarch, and didn’t they run these “tests” after this Algerian boxer beat a Russian boxer?
@@doofygilmore-Zthe very decision to suspend them was arbitrary, retroactive and shambolic. As a women who plays soccer I don't think it's fair for biological women to have to compete against biological Men in any sport. Because of the biological makeup of men, most men will almost always be taller, faster, and stronger than the average biological women. It's. Just. Biology.
This video is so disappointing, because it doesn't look like Khelif is biologically male at all. Having XY chromosomes doesn't necessarily make you biologically male any more than gynecomastia makes a man biologically female, there are numerous genetic disorders that can complicate these things. Having the ability to produce male gametes (sperm) is the only thing that determines whether or not someone is biologically male. It appears that Khelif has ovaries, not testes, and she just has a very rare genetic disorder where she also possesses XY chromosomes, it's called Swyer syndrome and it effects 0.001% of the population. When Iman Khalif qualified for the final, she was eliminated due to a genetic test, but the federation organizing the tournament did not disclose the type of test. The fact that the IOC is so adamant about ignoring the problem is proof that they know its a problem.
Also needless to say, IBA disagreed with the disqualification of Russian and Belorussian athletes from the Olympics.)
The issue of intersex athletes competing as female is not new (eg.
The solution for the future will be either the boxing community replaces IBA with another organization that IOC accepts, or boxing will not be part of the Olympics in the future.
hmmm the IOC is a new definition of illiteracy

@@sunnybayliss3221 When did women fight to play sports? They have been in the Olympics since it started, and there has always been womens sports in western countries.
@tubester4567 women HAVE had to fight to be included in sports. Just take the modern Olympics:
The first modern Olympic Games were held in Athens, Greece from April 6-15, 1896, and were open to all MALE athletes.
If you want more detail on it: www.reddit.com/r/bestof/comments/1ejegbl/urampantnroaring_gives_the_backstory_about/ (click the link from this page)
Point is, Imane Khelif is not biologically male until proven otherwise, and no tests have done so.
That’s all. Thanks.
It would be easy enough to do an independent genetic test to dispute these results then.

And that is why after the opening ceremony I have not watched a single Olympic competition. I am so sick of the politicization of sporting events. They are sports arenas, they are not political arenas.
I think if a person is born with male body parts is going to compete in any physical sport, he should compete in mens divisions only, due to his male strength. If he's afraid to compete against another born males, then stay out of competion sport, especially olympics.
@@gracemace8357 I agree
shame on you she is not trans or intersex neither does she has XY she just has hyperandrogenia which one third of women have she was born as a woman registered as a woman and lived and boxed all her life we know her in Algeria since childhood and transiting is illegal in Algeria she is 100 percent normal women with simple hormonal dysregulation which is incredibly common in today's generation cause of contraceptive pills and unhealthy food.
and even if deeper tests revealed she had an additional Y chromosome that can be simply a unexpressed mutation as long as the rest of her body characteristics are of a female it does not count at all there are many of us that if tested carry genetical mutation even sexual but rarely are they expressed cause one X chromosome can substitute the lacking X where is for men they desperately need the Y chromosome so it's much more severe for them.
the gendre is not just genetics or hormones or gonades or genitalia or psychology the gender is a combination of all. a man can have all the characteristics of a man but has s soft voice still a man a women can have all the characteristics of a woman but has additional testicule still a woman. both can carry characteristics of the opposite gender but still the overall majority decides your gender.
in case of Imen i repeat she trained with women studies with women been throw endless school exams and vaccin appointements which are all mandatory in alegria there is no way that she fooled all these doctors.

imane has a rare disorder called DSD- Differences in sex development is a set of rare conditions involving genes, hormones and reproductive organs that can cause the sexual development of a person to be different than others. Sometimes, this can lead to a person having XY chromosomes but develop otherwise female. in imanes case she has the XY chromosome but developed as a female with female genitalia. the xy chromosome doesn't do anything to someone developing as a woman. its suppressed its just that she has more testosterone wich is normal. My brother-in-law was born with both male and female genitalia. He was so premature his parents were told he wouldn’t live 11 days. They were so ashamed of his condition that he never found out if he was supposed to have been a male or female or something else. He died last summer not knowing.
And once they drag out intersex as an argument point, back onto the dusty shelf they go. I hope your brother in law is in heaven seeing this and knowing he's perfect the way he was.
so these far right lunatics are persecuting women and intersex ppl
I worked for a government health agency for two decades looking at births in my province.
While it is not super duper common, intersex children are born with regularity.
I think we should be able to figure out a place at the table for people who are truly intersex. It's their physical self. They're not pretending to be something that they aren't.
Easy.... U can only produce sperm or eggs (unless extremely exceptionally rare cases). I will let u figure the rest out from here
“What a way to send a BOLD middle finger to your female athletes” definitely sums it up, Brett. So much for women’s rights for safety and respect in this world.
Women should start pulling out of these competitions. No fights, no audience, no money, no competition. Organizations will change their "mind" very quickly.
That would be the best approach, the female competition would become a competition between man that want to fight women, let them fight themselves.
That might be the only remedy here.
Exactly, yet Brett will never mention this
Do you have any questions about why these men who were suspended after the tests did not file an appeal?
@@doofygilmore-Z ?

@@ludo5475yes it is?
@@thefool1086 these circumstances might be a discussion worth having, but this one is NOT political. The boxer is not a *trans* person who was born a male and now says they are female. They were born with female genitalia, raised as a female, and probably didn't find out that they had a rare genetic abnormality (parts that don't match DNA) until adulthood / recently.
Argue all you want about the regular version of this "issue", but this one actually is an outlier. This competitor might still be determined to have an unfair advantage, but the discussion itself is unique to this circumstance.

As a women who plays soccer I don't think it's fair for biological women to have to compete against biological Men in any sport. Because of the biological makeup of men, most men will almost always be taller, faster, and stronger than the average biological women. It's. Just. Biology.
@@1239Elc Yeah, you can't stop a big person from competing in strongman competitions.
Whether or not she should be barred from competing is a different story, but I am cringing at everyone confidently claiming that sex = chromosomes. Education in this country is such a sham.
@@MB-yl9hmif you have xy chromosomes and produce more test than your normal women competitors…. Higher bone density and larger muscle fibers…. You’re most definitely cheating and need to compete with other biological XY’ers

She is a biological male and once you understand hormone testing thru diagnostic procedures (thyroid issues, pcos, endometriosis, ect) you know the science is bunk and and can only be compared to your own test over a set period of time to say what is "normal". She has an unfair advantage. It doenst matter her feelings or intentions, she absolutely produces more testosterone. Even compared to a masculine female who is likely to have undiagnosed or disagnosed thyroid condition or pcos. She has different phenotypes as a result. Hows that for an "internal" description.
I use the pronoun she out of respect because she has lived female her entire life and i have no problems where her being socially female. Let me put it this way, her opthmologist, cardiologist, neurologist, and endocrinologist all absolutely would want and need to know her chromosomes or she could be misdiagnosed or given inappropriate treatments as a result of not knowing. That says enough about the chromosomes.
She does not have the syndrome you mentioned and refuses to explain further, she shouldn't have to. The condition you mentioned can hinder testosterone dominance. These individuals do not develop facial hair or get acne. That is not her. There are many conditions associated with appearing female at birth yet being chromosomally male. Further to this if she really was a transgender she would be attacked and harassed in her own country, also attacking the other competitor simply for being good at what she does maligning perfectly legible competitors. These are not men in women’s spaces, these are women from ethnic backgrounds that are being harassed unfairly. Many of these organisations who are doing the tests are also discredited for rigging fights and other corrupt actions. Shame, a real shame, allowing personal bias to get in the way of truthful reporting. But this is the world we live today.
The bullism that she is facing is disgusting. She has been competing for a long time and now this treatment is unacceptable. What Carina did during the first match is unforgivable and fomented the unreasonable hatred against Imane Khelif. The IOC is to blame 100% for this mess.

How about this for lunacy: Both of these boxers were disqualified by the International Boxing Committee in 2023 and ineligible to compete as they failed a chromosome test. The IOC wasn't interested in all this BECAUSE the Boxing Committee is headquartered in Russia. Freakin insanity.
meanwhile both boxers competed fine as women in the IBA for close to 10 years and always passed the gender and doping tests.
There is no concrete evidence that a chromosome test was done. It's just hearsay. What was done for sure (because it's always done) is a testosterone test, which can indicate *doping* and can warrant a disqualification... Do you actually know anything about sports?😂
