What annoys me, as a volunteer firefighter is that we all lost a brother no matter the side of the world your on, and this guy says what he said it sickens me, A guy who without a second thought would enter his building, put him from a car, pump on his chest to save his life. It shocks me that my brothers and sisters in the first responder community get shut down and bluntly disregard without a second thought. I hate getting political, but we shouldn't need too. When you hear people just saying "a firefighter or whatever died" then go on to laugh about it. There are a few of us who want him as a punching bag after that statement, but even though he said that, we will still rock up, and save his life. I didn't know that we were on such a low level compared to everyone else. Sometimes I wonder why we do what we do, with all the hate we receive from the people we serve, just makes you question it.
From the UK here. What you guys do, emergency services the world over, is above and beyond. Moreover, this Destiny guy was it? I never heard of him before and I'd feel blessed if I never had to again. He's inciting violence and unrest, the like of which is likely to put you and your colleagues in danger. Well I just figured out why he’s sounds angry and hateful.
As a younger teenager who keeps up to date with what is going on in our country all I have to say is that it is sick. The day of the attempted trump assassination I was with my grandparents away from my parents. When I first found out about it I called my parents and as any other teenager would do I told my "friends" what had happened and if they had seen it. What happened after I sent that text I wish I could make up.
They had told me to kms and if the person that tried to assassinate trump was still alive they had wished that they had assassinated me too. It is just sick that kids and telling each other those things based on one person and for what they believe in. If you support trump you get death threats (In my case) and if you support Biden then you get to experience their friendship. I wanted to thank Brett for giving me the inspiration and courage to say what I believed in and not coming down from that. I love your content and please don't stop anytime soon!!!

I have found that it is a mission for people my age and older to stand tall and keep pushing for a better world. I believe in change. well, I was at a family retreat with 40 family members when this happened. we happen to still be able to have TV and everything so we watched it. I would say our family has a pretty good mix of supporters but I was shocked. I am 37 years old and my 17 year old 18-year-old 22-year-old 24-year-old and 26-year-old cousins were all absolutely disgusted, and two of them change their mind, after this situation and how the media reacted to.

As a prominent liberal, I was absolutely disgusted by what some people on the left were saying all over social media. I work as a wildland firefighter so I’m often busy in places with no cell, when I was told he was shot a little while after it happened I went to the internet to find out more, and the front page results actually had me thinking my grandmother was mistaken.
