Growing up I played Taylormade irons, then switched to the Titleist 714 AP2 irons my junior year in college. Now I’m thinking about going back to the brand that started the game of golf for me. I’m loving the look of the 770s and the MCs. Just gotta test them out!
This is modern marketing. It's starting to become a little too much. It's an advert and there are more adverts within the advert. Sometimes you can over do it. Whilst I understand people need to make money etc but there is an art to getting the balance right.
I've had Taylormade for a while, and I honestly love them. Even their cheaper clubs are affordable and good quality for the buck! Let alone their other equipment like bags are solid as well.
This is definitely the best way to sell clubs. This and the last video on The Kingdom. Never felt the need to get fitted for new clubs but those just look so good, and I'd like to get a Trackman session to get some solid info across the bag. Gonna go take a cold shower - I don't need new clubs.
A real luxury for you to benefit from such expert care at TM head office. I was fitted for my clubs and am happy with my set but can’t help but feel that the closer you are to the centre of operations the better the care and expertise will be. Enjoy the new sticks EAL
You are one fortunate man. Just upgraded from Rocketballs I have had for years to P760s. I absolutely love them. The feel is incredible, and its nice having the confidence to be able to shape shots like I want.
I played rocketballz irons and now I’m with the Rocketbladez. I love them and I can work the ball. Not sure for my next set if I want to go P790 or P760 !
EAL you don’t need MB’s... I’m speaking as An experienced fitter many pros don’t even play those clubs because there’s just no need. It’s an ego thing for a lotta guys and fitters who work for the company will try to sell you on them. Yes they feel awesome. Yes they look awesome. But if you aren’t Charlie Hoffman they prob aren’t for you.. Hope you like them tho. If you don’t I have some suggestions feel free To hmu

I still love my clubs though , got them at a pawn shop for a hundo 3-pw and they don't always treat me right but we have a relationship I suppose. I need to try to get something I truly love and see about a simple fitting. Those clubs are so good ! Beautiful and functional , who could ask for more ?
I need a new set of irons sooooo badly just can’t afford with 5 kids. Starting to save 50 bucks each month. In the next 2 years I should be able to get a set haaaaaa.... that is if my wife doesn’t find it and knowingly I will still spend it on my kids like I always do. Playing in Amateur tournaments I feel a little a disadvantage with 15 year old clubs still shooting in 70s tho. Wonder if a new set would make that big of difference.
Cant decide between the P760s or the new P770s. Average carry with a 7 iron is 185 with both. The both felt really good during some testing, however I am concerned about the foam in the 770s. Iv put a few 205 during a fitting and it was concerning, with the 760s I felt my distance control felt better overall, but if someone has some any input regarding the P770s other than what I would have experienced during the fitting PLEASE HELP!!! Any advice would be great, cheers!

Especially when a set of the clubs shown here today are easily in the 000s of dollars. I haven't yet watched the video where Erik gets originally fitted for the P760s so I don't know if his attraction to that brand is organic or if this is a paid sponsorship.
I LOVE TAYLOR MADE woods, I jam the M6 1,3 and 5 and ain parting ways with those babies ever...but when it comes to irons,no disrespect to TM but I’m MIZUNO all the way and as soon as my disposable income increases after this bloody COVID kak, I’m flying to JAPAN and gon switch to custom made MIURA irons✌🏿 EAL’s fitting made me fall in love with that brand and I have a mate who jams those babies,had a few swings with them and gosh they made my old MP5 feel like stale queens cakes😂😂

I have the pretty much the same numbers as you have in terms of club speed etc. I got MB in pitch , 9 and 8 then MC in 7 and 6, with 770 in 4 and 5. I have hit my PW and just love it and today I received my 6, 7 and 8 which I will take to the course this afternoon. CAN’T WAIT!!!! My PW is AMAZING!!

They remind me of Maxfli Revolutions and Australian Blade clubs , a company that Taylormade purchased and then mothballed around 15 years ago.They were fantastic clubs and these also look fantastic.

First time I've wanted to stray away from Mizuno in a while now. The 770/MC combo set sounds sick, but I'd probably split it at the 8i in MC for my game. Stoked to hopefully be able to get a fitting sometime soon and try them

Mike Watson it’s definitely worth it if you’ve had the same swing for a while, if you are still making significant modifications on your swing and learning the game it might not be the best thing
The combo set looks amazing. Need to see a comparison with the mizunos. got fitted into a set of modus 120 shafts a couple of years back and the difference compared to the stock option was huge. You'll love them!

P7MB look so clean, love the look of them. I have an old set of T-MB's and they are some of my favorite clubs to take on the road.
Sort of like my golf fittings at the Goodwill store second handgolf club bin. I picked up a set of taylormades for 25 bucks.
Personally I'm not sure there is really that much difference, if the grips are good and the clubs true then all good with the older models.
Same. All my clubs are from the Goodwill. I use it as an excuse for my shoddy play. I got my Cleveland iron set for 20 bucks.
The fitting is night and day different; however, when you and EAL get on the course, you cam enjoy it just the same.

You should’ve gone 770 4-6 and mb 7-w.... no real diff between mb and mc in short irons for a ball striker like you. And the feel diff is big.

P770s are gorgeous, P760s were pretty but I always felt like they slightly missed the mark on the aesthetics. That's not the case any more.
