Great Tutorial. It got me thinking of a project I have underway. I wish to make a small book. Each page is scanned in (it's something my mother "typerwriter" wrote in the 40's), one side was typed on. What I would like to make out of it is, a booklet, Including some pictures (Non flowing text). My question is, would Pages allow me to make the booklet, with double sided pages made from single sided scanned text images. Thank you for any pointers you can offer.
Hello! On my macbook pro my quick actions wont show the option to create the pdf file, even though in my finder option it does show that its selected. Do you know how to fix this?

You can do it with Preview. Open the PDF, then File, Export and use the Quartz filter for smaller file size. You can also use any number of other apps in the Mac App Store for this too.
There's no limit, as far as I know. I mean people publish books as PDFs and they can have hundreds of photos. Of course if the file is too big, "sending" the file may be a problem.
@@davidbrown5801 How big is the PDF file. You probably have a limit on the file size you can send. You'll need to find another way to share it. Cloud service (iCloud, Dropbox) or maybe a USB drive if it is truly massive.

Not sure if you can. If possible, InDesign would have to have some hooks in it to allow this. I doubt it does.
