Your pulling the chain across the back is exactly the feeling that I feel when I make my best golf shots . Thank You for giving me a feeling with this drill that I can also use on the golf course. 🙏🙏🙏
Hi sir and everybody I started teaching exactly what you teach from Ben Hogan at a sports center at Laval University Quebec City. To the beginners the public in general and the results are remarkable. I teach part time the whole year since 20 years. Tanks so much Chris Martin 5 hdcp Nb i strike the ball so well so simply myself now … according to Ben Hogan
Great tip , Chris you do a fantastic job of explaining what one should be feeling in all your videos. In my opinion you are the best golf instructor on the internet. Thanks for helping me become a better golfer !!! 👍
Chris been working with your lessons; finally figured how / when too do the roll.Hitting the ball dead straight and long. Some go over the top; when I do I just slow down my takeaway. I’m 74 hitting the ball longer than ever. Thx so much.
This is correct, if you move or manipulate the hands and arms independently, they will be moving out of phaze, with the rotating mass and therefore mechanically decoupled from that mass at impact, which means that you won't be impacting the ball, with your entire mass at impact and neither, will you be able to properly flex the shaft, on the downswing, let alone maintaining shaft flex at impact, in order to release that flex, through the divot, like a leaf spring!!!!
You weakened my grip and flattened my swing plane. This has greatly improved repeatable solid compression of my golfball. I refuse to cup that lead wrist or take the weight off that lead foot . Hogan had the best swing but definitely made compensations in his swing which was only mastered by hitting thousands of golfballs. We can learn and benefit by taking pieces of his swing and applying it to our swings. If we take his word for everything and try and clone him it will most definitely end in failure. You have some great material. Thank you
Every now and then I would perform the pull of the chain with great results, but at the same time not knowing how I did it. Your video previously on reconnecting your right elbow seemed to cover this. By reconnecting your trail elbow/arm at the same time transfering your weight to your front foot helped me considerably in what I thought was pulling the chain and stopped me coming over the top. Previously when by chance everything fell into place beautifully, ie pull the chain.
Unfortunately the chain doesn’t have a weight attached that will create increasing force down and around the force vector. So it seems you would need counter forces to direct the “chain”..??? But sort out and around makes sense.😮
I know that video it got like 5 million views or something like that I watched it several times and he actually says the opposite he says that tour players do not manipulate their swing amateurs do because they have to because they don't have the correct backswing to then have a correct downswing into impact , so they have to manipulate the amateurs do tour players don't need to to because they already are set up with a correct backswing to promote a good downswing

That is fantastic. Thanks for sharing. Also way to take responsibility for your motion.👍👍👍
Pure wisdom...thanks very much.
Glad you enjoyed it

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Glad you are watching too.
Brilliant. Well done
Thanks.
I've watched that Peter Cowen video. Will try and find it.
I’m gonna get the master class.
Awesome.
Another top notch video. Wasn’t it Ben Hogan who likened it to pulling an arrow out of a quiver?
Thanks, I think so.

👏👌👍
👍👍👍
I’ve never heard anyone say to “cast the club” from the top. In fact quite the opposite.
THE ROPE DRILL ALSO EXPOSES ALL THIS.GREAT CONTENT.
👍
Was striping the ball. Now all im doing is hooking the ball. Im turning my right hand over and cant stop
Just curious, but not a pro...have you tried weakening your grip, especially the right?
@@MTreveki use a weak lead, strong trail
Neutralize the trail hand, the hands need to oppose each other, not conflict.
Yesterday i broke my driving record distace to 277 ft or 250 meter 😂
👍
277 feet. That’s almost 100 yards man. Good job.
@@grillbuster1519 typo not familiar with ft or yard ,in metric 250 meter for sure. Google it 273 yard.

Since you couldn't use a real chain, I can't trust you. Note: a golf club is NOT a chain.
You don't have to. Do you even get the concept?
