    Hi Everyone, welcome to the "No More Secrets Ben Hogan Channel". If your serious about learning Ben Hogan's golf swing, you are absolutely in the right place.
    In this video Christopher is going to show you the correct path and movement for the lead arm. Once you start getting the lead arm to move across the chest you will feel the true power in your golf swing at the top of your backswing. Then from there, you will have the ability to retain the live tension you created in your backswing, by the correct arm movement, and hold that live tension into the delivery area and through the golf ball when moving the clubhead through the impact area.
    It is time to take your swing and your ball striking ability to the next level.
    If you are really wanting to learn Ben Hogan's swing you are in the right place. Welcome to the No More Secrets Ben Hogan channel, and get ready to learn.

    Golf pros generally say the takeaway influences everything in the golf swing. For anyone like me who has continually struggled with an effective takeaway and is looking for a more consistent way to play golf, Chris's advice about keeping the left shoulder high and moving the lead arm across the chest (not up) is pure gold. Thanks, Chris I'm richer for it.

    I've been incorporating your videos for 2 weeks. This has been about 110 range balls 3X per week and 1 round of golf. Primary teachings I've incorporated are:
    1. Point Rifle
    2. Pull String
    3. Check tilt - this has been game changer numero uno. Rotating around tilt has kept my lead shoulder from dipping and my head behind ball
    4. Trail elbow in/down
    5. Lead elbow comes around and not down
    6. Roll hands
    At first, I was chunking everything... real fat shots, no distance. Occasionally I would flush it and get insane distance. I realized I had to get my lead hip out of the way. I'm not sure if I'm rotating it out of the way or straightening my front leg. But I HAVE to feel this subtle jolt upward? in my lead leg at contact. When I do, I am getting INSANE distance.
    Before you came along, a great 7 iron (2017 Taylormade M2) went about 165 for me. This past weekend I had 179 to the green, very little slope, no wind, sunny weather. I flew the green and lost the ball into the woods but the shot was BEAUTIFUL. I'm 36 yr old, 6ft and 165lbs. This is my 3rd "real" season. I must have hit that ball 195 air yards, hard to say really. This is just the most memorable to me because I lost the ball, but I had similar (insane distance) results on several shots throughout the round (none with my Driver unfortunately).
    Point is, what do you make of this fix for chunking the ball? This subtle jolt or basically quick front leg extension that I'm feeling brings all these teachings together for me. Is this worthy of a video?
    Thanks for everything. I find your instruction the best by far. Only online instructor I'd want to grab a beer with.

      That is fantastic. I will be making a video for lower body and footwork shortly. This video will help you tie it all together. The reason for any issues is because of lower body. Thanks for the update and thanks for sharing. Made my day!!!

    Chris,
    I hope that you will do two things in future:
    Teaching episodes from a range with you striking shots.
    Teaching episodes from a range focusing on irons.
    Many thanks for your great contributions thus far. Off to the range now !

    Chris, I really appreciate what you are teaching. No one seems to teach what the best ball striker to ever live did. If you are ever close to Texas, I would really like to get a lesson.

    Great content! Your front view has the dark background and floor, and you wear dark attire. Wearing lighter attire would greatly accent your body movements. Just a suggestion.

      @@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan I watched three of your videos today and the one that stuck to me. The most was the right elbow going around my body on the backswing. That was the lightbulb going off. I always thought it was the shoulder to shoulder turn it kind of is, but that move oh man.

    Try to teach a women to trap the lead a arm across and against the chest. Especially a well endowed women.

  • @shrimboy7492
    @shrimboy7492 10 місяців тому

    He's right about the arm coming across the line on his shirt. HOWEVER, he's not completely right about keeping it there on the way down. If u guys follow his movement, chances are u guys will sliced the ball 99 percents of the time. WHY? If u watched his movement, it looks like he is moving his shoulder first on the downswing. That is a NO NO! The shoulder is the caused of 100 percent of all slices. Don' believe me? Go out and golf with this info and see for yourself.

    • @NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan
      @NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan  10 місяців тому +2

      That is not what I am doing. The lower has to move first. But when teaching and looking at the different cameras, things may look out of perspective at times. Sorry about that.
