    Another thing that people always overlook when doing these fasts is the vast number of other health benefits such as autophagy, less inflammation and massively increased bdnf and human growth hormone to name a few, fasting is not only a tool for weight loss but actually heals the body on a cellular level, no point being thin if your not healthy right? Truly remarkable and so easy to do once in a rythem

    I am doing rolling 72s using a natural appetite suppressant to assist with my success. It really is helping. I don’t obsess over food anymore so I can focus on my process.

      @@carmencatalina9086 THCV. It’s part of the cannabis that suppresses your appetite and you don’t get high. There are gummies and gel capsules. It’s amazing how it’s so much easier to fast for me.

    Wow I just completed my 3rd 72 hours water only fasting last night lost 10 lbs each time . I'm going to do my 4th one starting tomorrow night didn't know about the rolling 72 hours gonna give it a try every week

      @@TheChristopherFam I didn't do rolling fast but I do 72 hours water fasts every Tuesday -Friday and I do refeeding I do OMAD+Keto Friday -Tues so far I'm averaging 10 lbs loss per week. I'm down 85 total since October 2021 but most of that is from doing keto+OMAD

    Well done sister. I fast on and of the whole year. It´s beneficial for the body and mind. I will say this from experience; when you crave food on your fasting, don' t dwell on the thought. It will pass. Drink some water and keep busy till it passes. I'm rolling myself this time of the year. 4 days fast, 2 feast days and so on. I will do this for a total of 6 weeks and then switch to adf until necessary.

      @@TheChristopherFam no I do not take electrolytes. I put some Himalayan salt in some of my water after 2 days, that's it.

    Hey lovely! First of all, amazing progress! But I just wanted to share that according to Dr. Mindy Pelz, during our progesterone building period (the week before our period) it's important that women don't fast more than 15 hours, doing extended fasts too often during this period can wreck havoc on our hormonal health. I really recommend her channel as she focuses quite a bit on fasting for women and our unique hormonal needs, which I find lots of other doctors who promote fasting tend to ignore. Here's to continued success! 💕

      Hello! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on the effects of fasting on hormones in women who have cycles. I am perimenopausal and have found that the life changes I have made including rolling fasting has helped significantly with my symptoms. Including sleep, mood, hot flashes joint and muscle pain. I will certainly continue to monitor my hormone levels with my doctor just to be safe! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement! 😊

    This is awesome!! One thing that I’ve come to realize is that even if it doesn’t seem as if you’re releasing weight as fast as some other people, it’s because things are happening on the inside that you can’t see. Actually, weight is just a symptom of another problem.

    It's almost 3 weeks into 2023 and I have so much going on, i absolutely need to lose weight and become more fit. I've started this year with rolling fasts and I'm finally losing weight! For the first time in years- I'm definitely under 200lbs even after fluctuating weight from food/water/clothes

    I'm doing this. Currently on my second 72-80+ hour fast. Doing that until I hit my goal weight. Was doing ADF previously.

      As a woman, be cautious: estrogen LOVE fasting, but progesterone hate this. So fasting is very good, but stop a few days before your periods to let progesterone be high enough to do its job.

    I would argue that you can eat delicious low carb food to keep you in ketosis when you eat. I did a 4 day fast, ate protein and fat, dropped 1.8 lbs the next day (my biggest single day drop), and kept rolling. Back on to another fast.
    The hardest part is the first 2 days. Then I just get bored. I want to try eating once ever 7 days too. Curious about that

    I am thinking of alternate day fasting which is 36 hours. Or maybe rolling 72 which is 72 hours. Or maybe 46 hours fasting. Im 222.6. I am on day 3 of 100 days smoothie diet. I know i can do 100 days but I am kinda bored. I miss cooking and eating. Mostly miss cooking. But I know that i need to lose this weight. I been same yoyo weight for over 2 years so im actively trying to do something. You are doing so good. You look so good. Glad your vlogging your journey.

      Hi Carmen! So glad you enjoyed the video. If you don’t have experience fasting I would highly recommend you start of with OMAD ( one meal a day), then alternate day fasting to help your body adjust to extended fasting. My hope for you is you find what works for you from the weight loss perspective but that it also not impact your life in a negative way. Are you a chef or just enjoy cooking?

    I enjoyed this video. On my first ADF fast in while. I’m looking forward to ending my overeating and binge eating and overcoming my fears and issues. And looking forward to getting therapy weekly. And working with therpist to end my issues and working towards completing goals cause I’m so behind when it comes to my acting and dancing and making things happen. Definitely inspired by you. Thanks for these videos. Had vsg in 2019 and only lost 60 and maintained that lost. This time I’m gonna lose and it’s not gonna take long time. It’s all in thinking.

    Folks be careful. When first fasting you’ll lose tons of weight in the first 1-2 days. A lot of that is water weight. Especially if you’re eating higher carb and salt when you break fast. Been doing rolling fasts and IF for years

      Some would say no, but I take vitamins/supplements and electrolytes. I believe it makes it more sustainable. Do whats best for you.

    I'm getting desperate, I can't seem to get the scale to go in a downward trend 😔 I've been doing WW, I've tried higher protein, lower calories etc nothing works

      You are not alone. I would encourage you to first focus on reducing your stress level, make sure you are getting enough sleep, and drinking enough water. Then, address your eating habits.
      I pray that you find a lifestyle that works for you!

    May I know what we can consume during refeeding day? Is carbohydrates allowed mam?

      Sorry for the delay in response. There are no set rules for refeeds. Currently I watch my sugar and carb intake but other then that my "window" of eating which is 2 hours helps keep me in check.

      During refeeds I hadn't been limiting what I ate only the time frame, but that may change as my body gets use to fasting. Thinking about doing low carb.

      I personally wouldn't do ROLLING fasting for more than 72 hrs (benefits of autophagy/cell repair) caps olat 72s. But an annual or bi-annual extended fast ( beyond a week) is something I would and have done

      Be careful of starting fasts after eating junk food. It’s better to eat Keto the day before. Eating trash the day before a fast will have you crashing from insulin and blood to blood sugar crash

    How do you keep from getting sick when breaking your fast? I always get really sick even if I break after just 21 hours. 😢

      Do a dirty fast drink some Powerade zero and go from there... So you can get your electrolytes

      Put apple cider vinegar (1 table soon) in a cup of water💝 try something light like fruit or veg soup or chicken broth🦋

      Eat something small (fruit, drink broth, etc). Then, after about 30 minutes, actually break your fast

    I would be interested how you came to need to reduce your weight? Do you emotionally eat?

      So in short yes I WAS an emotional eater. I am working on my physical and mental health so I am no long claiming emotional eating as my current reality. 🙃

    Wow that’s amazing, I do intermittent fasting, I do 18 hours of fasting an have a 6 hour window.

      @@TheChristopherFam something you said about your mood or maybe the fact that you were eating more sweets. I have been reading Fast Like A Girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz. Our cycles/hormones play a huge role in how we feel (doing) and respond to fasting.
