HECS Suit...Does It Really Work??

- We decided to do a "backyard" test of the HECS suit before wearing it this weekend, for opening day of turkey season. David tested with and without the suit, (and without Rufus) on his testing day. I tested with and without the suit (and with Rufus) on my testing day. Since watching people sit around is pretty boring, we just included small amounts of my testing day footage.
If you've tried the HECS system, let us know your thoughts!

I tried the suit and had a unique experience
Went out where I know turkeys roost. Nothing
I went to leave and some ahole put a snare in a county park No hunting or trapping. I got snared tripped and fell. It took me a few minutes to get untangled. Making all kinds of noise. I looked up and there was multiple turkeys eyeballing me 20’ away
That's funny, but spot on 100%! I haven't yet hunted (at 55 yrs old - It's high on my bucket list though) but I have been shooting photography for nearly 50 years and I "spot and stalk" animals with my camera. And I have found that oftentimes, it's when you're completely being natural that the animals just go about their normal habits of feeding and moving around. These are all prey animals, so your body language, focus and attitude are all a dead giveaway! (Pardon the pun) Im not saying to go making a whole bunch of ruckus and finding a bunch of snares to roll around in (lol), but just act calm and nonchalant and I bet y'all would see more animals! I also feel that the masking scent sprays are more of a flag to animals than our human scent. These animals encounter people all times of the year in their movements to feed and sleep... You're better off using campfire smoke to cover your scent because the animals know it! But thats just my two cents... I'll see you in the woods! Good luck y'all, happy hunting and be safe!

I had a doe looking directly at me for seemed like hours but really 5 minutes. She still continued right to the stand for an easy harvest. No HECS suit.

two problems. the dog and the fact that there is a new thing in the yard that the birds can see. You have to remember that these birds are acclimated to having no chair or person sitting there. All of a sudden you put the chair and person there..... I have no exp with HECS, but I am sure it doesn't make stationary objects invisible.
Did farmers use electric scare crows???
The dog messed it up. Any bird is leery of any dog, Rufus or not.
How about redo the vid without the dog, the dogs elecomagnet charge could be the issue

those people saying the dog is in the way i thought it gave me a good answer for my main reason i came here is to see that it works on dogs as well now i can sneak in without dogs barking
