Yeah... I thought it was supposed to be that easy until I did it. I realized my LG WT1501cw model's agitator gear (the part you placed the plate onto and then screw into) was larger (about 20mm) than all the plates I've orders. Even your plate shows a small gear hole (about 10mm) on the underside of the plate. It's that dark piece in embedded in the white plastic underside of the plate. I came across another video saying that, let's call it a, gromet on the underside of the plate pulled out of my plate and kind of fused itself onto the smaller gear (like your model shows). So I've spent the last hour with hammers and flat tipped screw drivers trying to pull them apart. Needless to say, I hopped on UA-cam again to see if maybe LG made a model with a larger gear and somehow I ended up with it. Thanks for posting this though. At least I know I'm on the right path.
My wife told me last night there was a problem with the washer, I checked it out and then saw your video and ordered a new agitator. It will be in Saturday, and it's a 5 minute fix.. Thank God.
Thank you so much for making this video. I’m ordering my agitator asap. Blessings
Whats the website to by agitator? I have exactly the same as video
This was so helpful. Thank you so much.
Awesome get right to business video
Thank you
This just happened to me today. Thank you for your video.
Thank you!! Awesome explanation!
Thank you. I just had to tighten my screw. ❤
Thank You for the video 👍🏽
The bolt is 10mm .
From experience put some thread lock (Loctite) before tightening. Snug the bolt down using only a 1/4 drive 10mm & ratchet
My bolt broke. Is it difficult to replace the actual bolt that the agitator connects to?
tightening the middle screw is easy but not really effective as it will loosen very quickly if the agitator gears are worn already
Can you share website for exact agitator?
Did you replace the entire wheel?
Great video. I have a question to ask you.
I just replaced the middle piece. The part with teeth. It cost around $ 10. New pulsator is around $ 150. Knock offs are around $ 80. It was a pain to remove and even bigger pain to put the new one in. There are clips on UA-cam on how to do this.
The metal part with teeth at the bottom? If so, could you give me the name of it and video please? The teeth on mine are completely smooth
Thank you!!!!

My agitator has a small opening not a big one like yours but the company I ordered it from said it was the correct part. They confirmed yesterday. I need 😫 help

Lmao 😂 funny guy
My agitator bolt Snapped off.
Did you end up replacing it?
@@gannicar3363 no, the machine is 7 years old. Couldnt find anyone else that had this problem. I tried to take the nut off that holds the snapped bolt but I didn’t have a powerful enough impact. I called LG and there wasn’t anyone in my area (of 100,000+ population) that works on these, and possibly the part may not be made anymore. So, Lowes had a sale on new washers, just bought one.
My agitator bolt snapped off too. How did you end up fixing it?
@@amandahughes4399 ordered a new washer from lowes and they took the old one
This is an impeller not an agitator
Hi Amanda, sorry I was told it is an agitator and if you google LG agitator this part will come up. Thanks for the comment!
