Yes, using two different weights of oil. My bike has high miles - mixing 10w-40 & 20w-50 gives me the consistency of oil that is not too thin nor too thick. In my opinion prevents oil burning & provides better start-up engine protection. I usually will mix oil weights in my high mileage bikes with no adverse affects. Also I have noticed smoother gear shifts with mixing the weights on this bike. I use Valvoline regular oil on all my bikes, never had oil burn or any engine related issues.
