Nice! This is quite a vivid comparison (visually as well as articulation); I love your content, most candid and not overbearing in any way such as that picture on that quality.
Just bought a Nikon Z50 that replaced my Fujifilm X-T1 and still thinking if I made the right decision because I missing the Film Simulation a bit until this video. I tried it immediately and man, you save me. It works like a charm, I love the X-Pro Picture Control. Thank you for the tips.
Nice video. I use picture control on my D810 as well, there are lots of great black and white profiles. Btw, I don't like Eterna, looks too flat and cartoonish. The result you got on your Nikon was really good and much better.
Thank you so much for sharing, I also opt on purchasing a zfc instead of the z50 with the same consideration and learning to take some videos for my photography needs., look forward to more tips for using the zfc. Btw, I also purchased a Smallrig 3480 (L bracket) for the zfc which add a grip to make it easier to hold.
As you can see many people have different tastes! The most important part for me was to make the Nikon footage look as good as possible and I'm quite satisfied with the result.
Hi, thanks for your video, but I have question, how I can get active multiple exposure function on Nikon zfc, it’s saying this option is not available on current settings, maybe you can explain what I need to do?
Good info I didn’t know this ability existed👍 I have implemented it and really like it as a good ‘all rounder’ including low light. I wondered if it would be better with sharpening turned down a bit, did you try that?
Loved the teal and orange look you have in this video. Did you shoot in some video or created this with color correction. I am assuming it was shot on Fuji. Just to confirm that your background was not actually teal, I checked many of your other videos as well. :)
Hallo Sir, i have the Nikon Z fc and i enjoy the Camera a lot. I follow your Instractions to make the Colors look more realistic and take the sharpening out, my Problem is, i do as told but when i go back to check your settings they are like before, means i cannot fix them. What do i wrong? Thanks for reply
I'm not really that much into photography, so it's not my area of expertise, I strictly use the cameras for my videos :) however, I find Nikon Standard profile (with the corrections - decrease sharpness and contrast) to produce very pleasing stills out of the box.
Oh yeah, Pro Neg is great, I think you will need to fiddle around to come up with something similar. I mostly care about video, I love Eterna so my goal was to get as close to that look as possible. It took a while but I'm pretty sure with the vast amount of options you will be able to mimic the Fuji look in stills aswell.
I've followed all the steps but once I'm in Picture Control and try to copy to camera, it says there are no Pictures Control files on the card. Any ideas what might be causing it? Thanx in advance
Great video. I actually preferred the profile you created much more than the Eterna. It looked much more natural to me.

I had no idea this was possible. What a game changer! Thanks : )
Thanks for this! I had no idea this was even possible. This opens so many possibilities!

Thank you so very much. What a game changer
Thanks for that I'm new to video, and have just bought a Nikon Zfc, so it will be very useful.
Glad I could help!

Yeah, to each their own I guess :) I like Eterna a lot, but the footage from the Nikon is also very pleasant after the adjustments.

Nikon looks better than the Fuji for me

Wow I had no idea I could do that. Been shooting nikon for 7 years now 🙈. Thank you for this information
Excellent video 😊!
Awesome video, thanks! Long Live Nikon!
Wonderful instructional, I am excited to try the settings you demonstrated, many thanks!
Always a pleasure, Craig!
Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for a great video, my Zfc video looks a million percent over the original.
Very well explained. Just wondering if a camera is needed for all this or if an iPhone just creates (almost) the same look without much adjustments.
Thanks for the great info.

Hi, could these settings made to update videos apply to pictures as well? You might have mentioned in the video but I didn't catch it.

Did you try to start from the neutral or portrait picture control ? Nice video!

Is this profile great for outdoor videos also?
great video, have you tried some recipes for stills if then please let us know in the next video

@@MRVLTECH ok, thanks for the answer, with my Fuji I use pro neg hi for the stills, now I'm trying to find a similar look at the Z fc

Hello :) i followed all the steps and despite the fact that i see the file in my camera, it will not appear in "i menu"
Check if it is a picture control for video or photo.
Shoot RAW.
Fuji is terrible. Love Nikon.
