Please do ! Never been a better time than now to get into it. I've been playing 2 years, and the content has only grown and become much better of quality
Awesome video. As someone with a mere 28.5 hours in so far these are extremely good tips, some I knew or had an idea of and this specified it perfectly and clearly but some I didn't know about at all and are absolute game changers for me, I'm going to go play right now haha.
tip at 6:19 isnt entirely correct what we get as rewards for few quests are storage expansion modules that expand our storage beyond normal storage module capacity, separate things I've always been confused why they wouldnt rename it as something else or at least change the icons to differentiate them edit. now that I looked at icons there is minor difference between them: storage expansion module (one you craft) has roman number I (9:49), where quest reward exclusive storage upgrade has normal 1 (6:23)
Hi, One tip that is not obvious, but is extremely helpful is that whenever you loot something in raid, you can hover over the roubles amount in the lower left part of the menu, and it will do a visual red/green filter on the items based on their value (rouble per square I think), so that you can quickly check if something is worth picking up.
it used to only work in the bunker, but it's true, it works in raids now however, it doesn't account for volume or weight of loots anything would be green above 2k, so don't completely depend on this maybe for comparing one slot items
was playing it since really early because of some Shorts video that got me interested, and then - I am glad to see you highlighting it! A small neat game to quickly start up, go for a run and go about your day :D
I'd actually recommend AGAINST the bed module. You can sleep in other areas and as you progress, beds will unlock closer and the bed module ONLY affects you while you sleep which has no real downside
6:20 correct me if i am wrong. Thats not "storage module" thats just "storage page" which you can use regardless of storange lvl. (I guess till you have space, so might not be usable if you have highest lvl storage) Each storage module (lvl) gives few pages, those 2 quests (which u can obtain both) for helping Igorn then killing him just adds 1 page each.
yes, you're correct. Those are 2 separate modules. Igor's module give 1 tab. Storage module 1 gives 2 tabs. They both can be used to extend your storage by 3 tabs in total.
Bedroom I don’t think is good since it’s all to do with stuff in base. You get the same benefit from sleeping and then filling up your hunger/thirst at the barkeep before leaving
@ I think the highest I’ve seen for all 5 together (Hunger, Thirst, Health, Wounds, Rads) was around like….maybe 4k? Thats like two pieces of good loot and usually it’s way less.
Early game it's good, but late game once loot is abundant and the value is high, I usually switched to Kitchen for coffees, I only need to sleep and passed 08.00 AM for the shop to refresh it's ad stocks and for the Networker to get new Quest
just a tip Mr junk spawns a specific patch of ground that can be seen on the map even if you haven't spoken to him before I learnt this on my first playthrough and on my subsequent ones I have found him on my first raid of makeshift each time
Have seen tons of your PZ videos, and upon seeing you also do videos on this makes we want to pick it up immediately. Visuals remind me of death road to canada which I played too much of for what it was
Id advise against the bed module. As others have stated you can sleep in any other bed in the bunker and just refill your hunger and thirst at the barkeep. Its not that expensive unless you made it super expensive in difficulty settings at game start. My modules I always go for are the workbench, ammo bench, scavenger, infirmary, shooting range and recycling center. Work bench prioritiy if possible. Ammo bench and infirmary are great to craft much needed ammo and meds. Shooting range just gives more weapon skill xp and increases weapon dmg the rest is mostly preference
How did I not notice the reset button for skills. xD Awesome that you can also change your weapons skills freely too. Not a big fan of the bed, I make it just because I'm lazy and want to tp and sleep quickly. It is crazy to me that you install it in the bottom left corner :P They did the bed dirty, you should get a well rested buff that increases you energy or something like that. I'd say so far in order of importance (not includuding storage because its 2,3,4 are a must) would be gym, shooting range, infirmary, and then maybe kitchen as they all give in raid boosts to stuff. Gym= carry cap + stamina, shooting range= small dmg boost + exp boost, infirmary= lowers bleed chance and something else, Kitchen= lowers how often you need to eat and drink.
kitchen also increases buffs from being in the green stats so double the carry cap from foods, looting speed from thirst infirmary has a hidden stat boost of max hp (top tier i'd say) +5 for lv2, +10 for lv3
You can press buttons like Y to view bullet type and double Y to swap to new ammo type. Sometimes some ammo carried by enemies arent the same type as in the gun so your gun doesnt fire. Other stuff like v? is current bullet (without chance of swapping). i think it's b is tossing bolts in front of you. It's only useful for the fire anomaly where it'll show you were there's fire.
Great and comprehensive video for starters! NVG 3 is probably the single most important item to get followed by armor with high rad protection. For base items I would advise against the bed as there are free beds around and the time slider does not affect your game experience. Refilling hunger and thirst at the barman before going out on a raid costs nearly nothing at all. Better to use the slot for other stuff. Similarly the one with the mouse that gives your various loot is better in the long run than the scrap one as you will quickly drown in scrap anyway (ammo scrap too but you need the ammo room to craft high lvl ammo)
Tip you can teleport in the bunker by hitting H and selecting which npc you want to talk to. This is especially beneficial if you fall through the floor so you dont lose your run :)
One way to get better gear from Scientists while raiding is to accept one of the missions from The Networker that involves them and wait for them to step on an anomaly until they die.
Will repeat myself, but this can be a way for people to try hardcore hunter game. Zero to Hero runs became doable, even more pausible when you get 3 perks that let you run and loot more... also the night owl perk almost wins over Nightvision devices.
I think there's a case to be made for *almost* all of the base modules, and a lot of it is user preference. I almost never run the Bedroom, for example. I just don't think it's usually worth the slot, and really like the Infirmary for its passive health and radiation regen during raids. My typical go-to: Recycling Center, Forge, Ammo producer, Workshop, Infirmary, Shooting range. The two that I basically never bother to install are the Kitchen and the Garden, but all the rest I think have a place. The two I'd say are basically mandatory for later game are the Forge and Workshop.
Idk, night vision 1 is def usable underground. But now that we have night owl perk , you'll see everything outside at night even without any NV (unless there's a storm at night which makes things even darker)
This game is so much. Here I was thinking it would not be frustrating and I would not suck because no PVP. Little did I know I’d be getting smoked constantly lol

If you start out the raid with a 100 percent gun, it never jams. I play on middle difficulty and I have not seen a gun jam in the last 40 hours of gameplay.
bedroom is almost completely useless i cranked up service cost to max (x2) (still better than eating which is kinda funny) 12 hours of sleep costs me 648 to fill back to full (so normally it'd be 324) a single raid in the beginning would earn about 10~30k (i'm on hardcore so, you'd earn more) so you'll be saving about 1~3% of what you earn per raid you're not limited by time in any way, so healing rate doesn't matter either you probably want to sleep until daylight, which is more than enough to heal any fatigue or injury or rad
