I began to give random names to characters after realizing I will die a lot. I was hanging around the holy nation and then bonedogs ate my leg, I crawled and searched for a leg for days and finally found one in a village. Easy early money is the closest hive village from the default Hub start, the beak things and gorillos will always loose to the hive soldiers allowing you to fight them in a wining battle and collect money from the pelts, once strong enough you can attack the fog men and take the heads for bounties
once you got a bit of atlethics you can even lure the beakthings to the hive, let the soldiers take care of them, then go back to the nest and get dem juicy eggs.
You guide is great! I did a small variation but followed the most important parts of your guide Instead of stealing from Narkos Trap (the guards kept finding me even with 86 sneak), I went directly to Mongul and stole the robotic limbs he had in the chest. I got Masterwork strength and Sneak arms and legs, will come back in a few weeks to try to get scouts. Im on step 5 now but I can see the plan clearly and appreciate all your tips into making my character strong.
Just play as a skeleton. Assemble the skeleton gang. Just 4 of you will be unstoppable. After recently starting skeleton only playthrough I've no idea why some people claim that organic races are stronger. Great video, one small nitpick - assassins' rags aren't that good on organics especially when soloing, but in a team could still work decently well.
One little tip for kenshi ... if you remove your left arm you will always get a 0% knock-out .... the game factors into you having both arms to register a KO. So you can remove your arm and spam assassination and get that up faster on practically any enemy in the game that is around.
Im so waiting for Kenshi 2, i hope the add a LOT of animation for different levels of things, like for example in the beginning you should grab your weapon in a very bad form, like a really amateur. And i also hope they add a shit ton of animations for levels, also dual wielding and daggers. I need more kenshi.
my favorite training bug was to beat up a beak thing near the western hivers healing it in a bed then practicing my martial arts on it, really good way to get early levels. Highly recommend modding the game as well using the video's exploits the vanilla leveling can get tedious but don't let that dissuade you kenshi is a godly game.
15:26 "Cat-Lon repeats this speech ever 6h" If anything, that only reinforces the lore that he is indeed mad. Skelingtons need to 'reset' every now and then to avoid old age madness, but Cat's hasn't been reset since, what, before the fall of the Second Empire?
I rather stealth train near obedience, its faster. if you steal in any city long enough you can just take from the armor king, then go below squin because there is a small town you can go outside of and attack bandits with your fists to gain max toughness and dodge, just have someone pick up your body and bring you back to the town to heal in a bed, or make beds outside.
Step one: learn the game mechanics. Step two: get beep and agnu step three: Die a lot Step four: Master the game mechanics Step five: become a GOD of kenshi Step six: Introduce some mods Step seven: see your god get eaten by cannibals/fogmen
Did he say it "should take take more than an in game day or two"??? Just to pass that XP??? This is amazing !!! Im not sure my life is suited for this game but I'll give it a try ́
To me Kenshi is the perfect game I've always wanted. However I don't like these tricks. It defeats the purpose of the struggle which is everything the game is about. I have only seen 2-3 videos on the game & don't really know much. I like that I can just do whatever I want & play in a free world & yolo. Every day is a different adventure.
On my game, went for black gorillos, 6 of them, training art martial until 90 (so good dext and str), then put some of my armor and get them beaten by hungry bandits to get dodge xp and thoughness. Now I just go around and capture all the VIP and chain them in my city. Only took 10 guys, but could do it with 100 :')
To me Kenshi is easy mabye I took it the easy way mabye I got experience from other games. Such as Empire Earth, Stronghold Crusader & Generals, I started with a skeleton because they are kool. I looked & learned the stats I understood how to make money. Mining cooper and then I just snow balled from there having small objectives and understanding the game mechanics. At 1st I just recruited and recruited and picked my fights used the advantage of crossbows and using very fast characters to scout and understand territories then from there I understood that crossbows outranging and kiting opponets is OP afterwards I estabilshed small farms & bases here and there to get money & materials At 1st I just had nomad mining cooper parties because they were very profitable moving on I started a small base in some ruins then from there I just understood that for research I can use the defence of other settlements mixed with the fact that I can just buy books from neighbouring traders moving in reaching higher levels of technology made me really push it I lost some characters searching AI cores characters that I grown attached to but that was part of the growth... moving on ~ 1 IRL year later. I killed the ENTIRE no I WIPED the entire holy nation all because they were not kool with skeletons and I like skeletons.

I agree with the opening statement, while im not great at kenshi, whatevr that means in a single player sandbox, once you learn the game it isnt hard to avoid bad things happen to you, but its very hard to stop bad things from happening once you stop avoding them, the thing is if you dont get your ass kicked youll never progress in the game, the games actually very forgiving IMO, you can get beat to near death like 50 times and literally become better for it
Found out you can skip step 5 almost completely if you tried to make it all the way to block 100 in step 4 due to the sheer amount of shinobi guard beatings it takes to get those last 10 levels.
for some reason, I always get caught at the gates of Narko's trap so I had to mine COPPER for cash but everything else is supreme gg my friend. Edit: I didn't know the bag had a stealth penalty so I removed it when entering Narko's trap.
based and red pilled video, subscribed and only complains that i have is when you talked about ''securing the bag'' you didnt mendioned how to get the traders backpack, or how to use garru's backpack.
Thanks for the subscription! As for the trader’s backpack, it can be bought at any boot shop and as FrankieWuzHere commented it’s actually better to use that raiding Narko’s Trap than the Large Backpack, which was absolutely a mistake on my part! I can’t give a tutorial on how to use Garru Bag as I actually have never used it myself!
@@Omniburg oh ok so you dont know, i can gve you the summary them: theres 3 backpacks taht are the best in the game, each on ther on regard, these are; thieves backpack, traders backpack and garru backpack. thieves backpack is the best bag that dosnet have skill penalties (well, i lie, it gives -2 to combat skils, which in praticality is nothing), making it the best bag for combat characters. typically you can buy them on the shinobi trader. traders backpack is the best bag that can stack items and be worn in the back, it cannot be bought, it is worn by some traders in holy nation cities (in blister hills, bad tooth and stack) and in mongrel. you must kill or knockout the trader and take the bag from ther bodies. and lastly but not least, the garrus backpack is the backpack with the biggest capacity in the game, the only problem with it is that you must place the bag on the ground to acess it if is not worn by a garru. these can be bought by animal shops (i think some backpack shops sell them too)

cant seem to figure out the iron HQ part, my character hardly attacks unarmed, and when he does it is negligible martial arts gain. at the rate im going, it would take months to level up
95 toughness, masterwork samurai armor and leggings, masterwork tin helmet and i cant get past 64 martial arts as i never get a chance to swing. my dex is around 60 as well
there is a better way , put a beakthing in a bed in one of the hive towns , and kung fu it , you work str/dex/toughness/unarmed all at sametime, use the huge back pack and cheap armour that gives MA debuffs for sure, you can get skills upto 60+ in less than 1 day easy.
OR you can just use cheat training dummies mod and you char can become a god without leaving The Hub. But seriously nice vid! Some of this tips are wide available by the game itself however not disclousing the best place to loop it.
I've got a question for you if you still look at these comments. When you reach the iron hq how does your exp go up so fast? Mine barely goes up a level
I'm at the waystation trying to kidnap the skeleton doctor but can't. The option doesn't even come up, and I don't get how you can have 100% on *both* stealth KO and kidnap anyway. I'm sneaking and sitting behind him as he opens the door like you do, but the option just doesn't appear, and stealth KO is at 0%. What am I missing?
Exploiting unintended features or bugs isnt my style, im all about mining copper for 20 hours to get a start, there is a lot of exp to gain from labouring and carting heavy loads. I worked my way from the bottom up and now im starting to take bounties out, and being able to actually combat things, but i'd hate to have to do it again lol, all that copper mining XD
Or.... you know you could just level up your stealth right when you spawn and just rob the stores in squinn and make a million cats and masterwork equip by day 15..... Seems like less hasle then running towards narkos trap and abusing bugs is kinda... i dunno. Why dont you just start cheat engine and increase your stats that way ? Like what is the difference?
Moll is the leader of the Flotsam Ninjas, and if you select a dialogue option telling her you won’t side with them, you will automatically ally with the Holy Nation
i didn't know anything about Kenshi. I spawned, stole some things and ran away to the desert, the rest is history(my first character never died to this day). I think Kenshi isn't that hard, it just has an unforgivable world, so a lot of mistakes can result in dying. But using a bit of common sense you can survive most of the time, you will find that aside those mistakes there are others that will take you to becoming a lot stronger by committing them
thing about the game is that if you want a good fighter character, he will need to be in dangerous fights where he will certainly most of the time get almost killed. only way to get high toughness on a character is to get beat up in fights. which will usually translate to get getting a second character that wont get into fights and will act a as a rescue medic when your fighter character gets beaten up.
What it does it ensure you get hit. Hitting R resets your character which prevents them from blocking and dodging. You want to get hit because getting hit gives you much more melee defense than blocking hits does. Make sure you have a weapon equipped, otherwise you won’t get melee defense XP. Also, turn hold off because it gives you +20 defense which you don’t want.
You need a medium thieves backpack and 2 trader backpacks, you can store one in the other when empty. rrader bp first. as it can stack items. if you can get there, reaching the grey desert waystation is gold. from there you can wait for raids, ninjas brining their equipment to you;) Then buy andnbuild the tower and go from there. i usually place 1 guy there doing all the research in safety, while roaming around yourself. Narcos trap is not really needed until Much later. you got unguarded similar location in the swamp, at the grid there are 2 locations as well. or just raid the drugslab and sell at the mysterious town for 500% So many ways lol
A couple other UA-camrs have said guards are only searching you for hashish, not stolen items? Are they really just looking for anything you shouldn't have?
Lol I'm doin this rn while waiting for my stupid grievewraith matriarch to get hungry... bish takes foreeeeeeever lol... But I wanna tame her... hopefully someday she'll get hungry enough to join me
you level lockpicking and assassination, go into Heng or any city with skeleton limb shop, knock the shopkeep out and steal everything. Gives like 60k per day@@RedSemen420
I experienced the same thing. Make sure to do toughness training in Skinner’s Roam first, make sure block isn’t on, and ideally wear equipment and use a weapon that penalizes your defense stat as much as possible or suffers from penalties indoors. Usually leveling up to 80 comes quick but 80-90 is a bit of a grind.
its because kenshi can be THIS broken when you know how to exploit it that i refuse to play it this way now. I used to play this way a decent amount, but then i found myself using the bank/thieves guild to make money for the hundredth time, and had one companion stationed in the great library for the hundredth time, and i just couldnt do it anymore. Infinite money and infinite blueprints wuth 0 risk. 0 challenge or reason to do anything besides those two things means 0 fun. If you play kenshi the "optimal" way too much it just ruins what the game is supposed to be. You can blame that on the way the game is balanced to some extent, but i love the game too much for that. I'd rather just restrict myself from certain playstyles.
right, so the only way to have a satisfying experience in kenshi is if you research everything there is to know about it online, minmax the sht out of it and use every exploit there is. good game.

Oh god this video is so based.
Thank you, this will be useful for me
I’m really glad to hear that! Thanks for commenting
One little tip for kenshi ... if you remove your left arm you will always get a 0% knock-out .... the game factors into you having both arms to register a KO. So you can remove your arm and spam assassination and get that up faster on practically any enemy in the game that is around.
Great guide and surprisingly good humor, good vid/10
tapping "R" key is a god send in itself.
amazing video
Thank you so much
Very good info, thanks for the tips
Im so waiting for Kenshi 2, i hope the add a LOT of animation for different levels of things, like for example in the beginning you should grab your weapon in a very bad form, like a really amateur. And i also hope they add a shit ton of animations for levels, also dual wielding and daggers. I need more kenshi.
rly good video bro id like to see more from u
Thanks bro! Let me know if there’s anything in particular you want to see
my favorite training bug was to beat up a beak thing near the western hivers healing it in a bed then practicing my martial arts on it, really good way to get early levels. Highly recommend modding the game as well using the video's exploits the vanilla leveling can get tedious but don't let that dissuade you kenshi is a godly game.
I started in the UC as wandering trader and the games been pretty easy I set up my outpost in the Fog Islands and sell hashish to make money
15:26 "Cat-Lon repeats this speech ever 6h"
If anything, that only reinforces the lore that he is indeed mad.
Step two: get beep and agnu
step three: Die a lot
Step four: Master the game mechanics
Step five: become a GOD of kenshi
Step six: Introduce some mods
Step seven: see your god get eaten by cannibals/fogmen
Lemme just say before watching the video that you become a god simply by playing the game
Agree. And it is muuuuch more fun than just grinding the stats
Did he say it "should take take more than an in game day or two"???
Just to pass that XP???
This is amazing !!!
Im not sure my life is suited for this game but I'll give it a try ́
I tried it took me round 6 days, maybe I’m doing smth wrong?
To me Kenshi is the perfect game I've always wanted. However I don't like these tricks. It defeats the purpose of the struggle which is everything the game is about.
I have only seen 2-3 videos on the game & don't really know much. I like that I can just do whatever I want & play in a free world & yolo.
Every day is a different adventure.
@@luxpro6092 fr its taking me so long
On my game, went for black gorillos, 6 of them, training art martial until 90 (so good dext and str), then put some of my armor and get them beaten by hungry bandits to get dodge xp and thoughness.

Step 1: steal from armor king
Step 2: punch tiny crabs
Great video man i think you should do more!
no wonder why i couldnt find the video, ITS UNLISTED!!
Hey man! Yeah I’m so sorry about that, I had to make a second channel for these videos. I made a community post about it on my channel but I was worried not all the people interested in this series would see it. Here’s a link to my second channel where I reuploaded these videos, and the newest episode (4) just came out today! The series is still ongoing, not yet over.

As cool as this video may be, I think a part of what makes Kenshi good is to learn yourself, to grow.
Good video tho!
Fog does get real especially early on lol
I thought this was a mortal combat game from the thumbnail
I agree with the opening statement, while im not great at kenshi, whatevr that means in a single player sandbox, once you learn the game it isnt hard to avoid bad things happen to you, but its very hard to stop bad things from happening once you stop avoding them, the thing is if you dont get your ass kicked youll never progress in the game, the games actually very forgiving IMO, you can get beat to near death like 50 times and literally become better for it
Or... rather than do all of this... You can go to Mourn.
By in game day 10 you'll be rocking 90s in most combat stats.

Remember to turn block off and have a good set of armor. This way you should be able to tank a lot of hits

How does your UI look so good?
Secret time, I don’t and have never used the dark UI and based on all the footage I’ve seen I might be the only one.
Can someone explain?
It's personal taste really. It's kinda like dark mode on the phone.
see i got the hive to eat me but there was no way to heal myself on the spike and i cant get in the limbs menu

and only complains that i have is when you talked about ''securing the bag'' you didnt mendioned how to get the traders backpack, or how to use garru's backpack.
@@Omniburg oh ok so you dont know, i can gve you the summary them:
theres 3 backpacks taht are the best in the game, each on ther on regard, these are; thieves backpack, traders backpack and garru backpack.
thieves backpack is the best bag that dosnet have skill penalties (well, i lie, it gives -2 to combat skils, which in praticality is nothing), making it the best bag for combat characters. typically you can buy them on the shinobi trader.
traders backpack is the best bag that can stack items and be worn in the back, it cannot be bought, it is worn by some traders in holy nation cities (in blister hills, bad tooth and stack) and in mongrel. you must kill or knockout the trader and take the bag from ther bodies.
and lastly but not least, the garrus backpack is the backpack with the biggest capacity in the game, the only problem with it is that you must place the bag on the ground to acess it if is not worn by a garru. these can be bought by animal shops (i think some backpack shops sell them too)

cant seem to figure out the iron HQ part, my character hardly attacks unarmed, and when he does it is negligible martial arts gain. at the rate im going, it would take months to level up
95 toughness, masterwork samurai armor and leggings, masterwork tin helmet and i cant get past 64 martial arts as i never get a chance to swing. my dex is around 60 as well
still trying and my character just does not get a chance to swing
@@wilhelmthegreat is he being dodge locked?
there is a better way , put a beakthing in a bed in one of the hive towns , and kung fu it , you work str/dex/toughness/unarmed all at sametime, use the huge back pack and cheap armour that gives MA debuffs for sure, you can get skills upto 60+ in less than 1 day easy.

If you understand how make your stat near 80 in short time, you knew how to live god like in Kenshi.
OR you can just use cheat training dummies mod and you char can become a god without leaving The Hub. But seriously nice vid! Some of this tips are wide available by the game itself however not disclousing the best place to loop it.
Wait, masterwork samurai leggings? Which ones? he sells both samurai legplates and samurai clothpants
I've got a question for you if you still look at these comments. When you reach the iron hq how does your exp go up so fast? Mine barely goes up a level
Where can you find a backpack?
Do you think i should follow this guide religiously? I haven't played kenshi in so long
It depends on your goal! I’d follow it if you’re doing a solo character or if you just want a main character to support your later recruited squad(s)
do you have collection list of mods you use? if yes can you list it? or give us link

how to show xp gain rate on ur character ui? is it a mod?
Guys how do you enter the weapons shop in BDC?
There is a little metal staircase you can find on the outside, it’s beneath the ceiling
@@Omniburg Oh my god how did I miss that. Thank you! And nice video.
it is easy the first time i played i built a base and was pretty autonomous except that i didn´t train my guys in combat
Or.... you know you could just level up your stealth right when you spawn and just rob the stores in squinn and make a million cats and masterwork equip by day 15.....
Seems like less hasle then running towards narkos trap and abusing bugs is kinda... i dunno. Why dont you just start cheat engine and increase your stats that way ? Like what is the difference?
Are these tips in a written format anywhere?
No, sorry. But they are segmented so it should be easy to skip sections if you need to.
Who is mole?
Moll is the leader of the Flotsam Ninjas, and if you select a dialogue option telling her you won’t side with them, you will automatically ally with the Holy Nation
How do you have all those border lines on your map?
its a mod for better maps.
i didn't know anything about Kenshi.

Mods used?
i dont understand the block leveling part at 9:30 at all. spamming r and running around with only hold on does nothing to level melee defense
@@Omniburg okay, thank you very much
You need a medium thieves backpack and 2 trader backpacks, you can store one in the other when empty. rrader bp first. as it can stack items. if you can get there, reaching the grey desert waystation is gold. from there you can wait for raids, ninjas brining their equipment to you;)
Then buy andnbuild the tower and go from there. i usually place 1 guy there doing all the research in safety, while roaming around yourself.
Narcos trap is not really needed until Much later. you got unguarded similar location in the swamp, at the grid there are 2 locations as well. or just raid the drugslab and sell at the mysterious town for 500%
So many ways lol
Nice stratogy. But it wont work for me. If there a 1% chsnce to get caught. Im causing an agro. Thats just me tho
I'm putting bro on 0.9x speed
A couple other UA-camrs have said guards are only searching you for hashish, not stolen items? Are they really just looking for anything you shouldn't have?
Step 1: level martial arts
Step 2: ???
Step 3: profit
no you level martial arts to kill stuff
for profit you want to level thievery (optional level strength and stealth aswell)

The End
Howd you do the 90+ block on mongrel? Ive spent a few days there already and the melee def stat start to slow down by 70+
I experienced the same thing.

Gheeeeeey!!
