I'm so glad I've already talked to him three times. Now, I just gotta talk to him just one more time for this beautiful spell. Would have sucked to miss out on it and wait for NG+
Talked to him in all chapters from 1 through 4. (I vividly remember freeing him from the Coccoon). When I got to Chapter 5's Valley of Furnace on Friday night there was a little bit of dialogue but I had to immediately get off the game for personal reasons. I was also skeptical of investigating the dialogue as I didn't want to mess up anything. Closed my game and hoped it would return later. Booted up the game yesterday but no dialogue. However I pulled the broken carts rope like a million times. Then proceeded to the fish boss. Now I beat the fish boss no more rope.
I missed him in New West snow zone and was doing other stuff, I’m in new Game + 1 now and I have to do his with the Mi dude cocooned in the spider zone and I’m missing 2 characters for full anecdote journal logs of all enemies.
For those who are mad about missing it and having to go to ng+ it doesn’t matter you have to go to ng+ anyways since it’s required for multiple trophies
@@peytonmcgiven7610 the game doesn't really have any combo's in it it's just smash square and press triangle with little to no variance with stances. Game really needed to incorporate the stances into combos or give different moves sets to the attack button like dmc does. Combat gets very repetitive on multiple plythrs in my opinion. No offense to anyone else.
@@kaisingh9342 @kaisingh9342 that quest has nothing to do with erlaang. You just have to unlock all the secret areas in every chapter and do the quest of the treasure hunter in chapter 3. Then go to the great pagofa in chapter to unlock the fight. Im not sure if u can do the secret areas after u clear the chapter. I know i was able to do the trrasure hunter quest.
Am I not suppose to pull the whip the first time I’m their without defeating the yin and yang guy. Cause after I came back after defeating the yin yang guy the whips not their.

Do you have to find him in chalter 5 befor killing flaming of mountains and talk to him or no ? Just go after doing boss ? And what about crimson silver cart kill him or no ?

Unrrated opinion: Transformations are overrated simply because of the fact that you don't even get full fidelity of the said transformation; you trot and do seemingly unresponsive or slow attacks. I don't why it is designed like that, I have to press more than once to even start the animation for attacks and it is very likely that you get interrupted by enemies' atrack.
Can you get the spell and trophy Fickle Form + Urge Unfulfilled after beating the Keeper of Fire mountain? I’m uncertain if I have to talj to him upon arriving to the furnace for Urge Unfulfilled and then go fight the boss and return for his spell/transformation
@@deezz6935 I did figure it out, thank you: once you reach the furnace section (and after meeting him in every chapter prior and exhausting his dialogue(, I pulled the rope in the cart and exhausted his new dialogue. Then, I left him and fought and beat the Yin & Yang fish. Immediately afterwards, I returned to the cart and pulled the rope oncd more. This prompted his final dialogue and giving me his unique transformation spell. This triggered both trophies back to back

This game has horrible npc quest guidance. Absolutely horrible. Edit: Just because fromsoftware has some bad npc quest design doesn't make Wukongs any better.

More than that NG+ is the only way to unlock all options of each relic. I am debating if I want to NG+ until Wukong is maximum monkey.

Certain things can only be found before a certain point and once you pass it you cant do it anymore. That kinda sucks

Probably it's a bug, in my run I did everything without the need of this video and i tried to pull the whip many times before defeating the boss
