Hi Theresa. I’m for comfort always. My mother (now101 years old) was very into fashion in her days told a story of wearing a very tight black cocktail dress to a party and she had to lean against the fireplace all night because it was so hard to move in but she said it didn’t matter because she looked great.

Theresa, you are my fashion heroine! When I worked (now retired)I shopped at Macy’s and Nordstroms. Now, I shop at Walmart. The designers, buyers and stylists have come way up in their choices. I have bought at least 30 items and 6 pairs of boots this season. It has been great fun to put together numerous outfits. I might add at a fraction of what I used to spend. I knew the long pleated dress would appear in here! I just got it this week in black. I am a large apple shape right now and I find this very flattering. I take the belt loops off and wear it belted a bit higher for a more empire waistline. Very flowy, feels and looks so luxe!

I absolutely love wraps and ponchos too but sometimes it’s gets tricky to wear to work b/c I have to walk a few blocks so would get cold to wear just a poncho yet wear my winter coat is too bulky

I do indeed sacrifice comfort for style, sad to say, if I know I only have to wear the piece for a few hours (as a wedding guest, for instance). That Sofia Vagara top is absolutely gorgeous on you! I’d wear that one with a long, semi-fittted skirt in a plum/burgundy color w long boots or pumps. Thanks for all you do, Theresa.

I'd rather wear a cardigan sweater than a coat. I feel so constricted in a coat, even in Ohio, I'll go for a sweater.

Maybe I am too critical but I feel the pendulum and fitting tied tops look lovely in the front but emphasis the butt. It might just be my hangup.
I actually know EXACTLY what you mean! Often, when I am watching "try on" footager, I think to myself...hmmm...looks GREAT from the front but not so good from the sides or back. This is especially true with the "front tuck". I need to front tuck to define the waist, BUT I don't love how it looks from the side of the back if that makes sense :).
The rolled neck striped sweater and the top you wore throughout the video were cute, but I think they are an awkward length. Your legs look so much longer when your tops are a bit shorter.
