Oh yes, I remember "flood" pants as we used to call them. Even today my jeans have to be a certain length with very little of the heel of my shoe showing. Thanks for sharing!

High water for me too! I grew up in Southern California 🎉
I definitely remember pants referred to as “floods” or “high waters”. I didn’t wear pants until I got to high school and I wouldn’t have been caught dead in pants that were riding my ankles. I still don’t like pants that fall anywhere between knee and ankle. That’s just my personal preference, though.
My SIL feels the same way about sleeve length.

I bought the striped top in all three colors -$16! I am 5’6” sz L (10-12) and it’s perfect worn out over jeans or shorts. Excellent all-cotton, slightly heftier fabric. The neckline is squared off. Looks a more expensive cut than it is! Wash and lay flat to dry👍

My daughter in the late 90s called them floods. I always called them high water. It might be regional.

Yes, "flash flood" pants is what we said in the Boston area. I am 69 years old. A couple of months ago I gave in (against my better judgement) and purchased that moto jacket in black. I just didn't think it was the type of garment someone my age could pull off. But it fits nicely and looks great. My husband actually said it didn't look like faux leather because it looked and felt so soft.

Hi Theresa...You found such cute things. I never would wear horazontal stripes but those would work. I thought the dress was adorable. I also loved the pink and ivory moto. I like the fitted. I dont like oversized clothes. You look teeny in the cruise pictures. Your husband and you look so cute together. I have no need for a dress blouse but how pretty is that mint color. This winter has got me down. I need the sun. We have started getting some Springy weather.

The moto jacket is great. Esp machine washable. I have a real leather pink moto jacket, but been wanting another black one! Love the top that followed, just wish it didnt have that tie, but ill probably still get it. Lol!

I'm just 5' 1" so those black pants will probably fit me as longer as I have a short torso and short legs. I don't think they will be "high waters" on me at all.

Yes we called them floods and those pants are too high for my taste. That last blouse reminds me of the puffy shirt from Seinfeld 😂 otherwise cute items. I will say last fall I had 6 different items I kept checking every day for two months to be restocked and finally gave up. Now if it's not in stock I just move on with my life!

Yes, I am 66, we used to wear our pants so that the hems almost dragged on the ground. If pants were ankle length, it meant that you had grown out of them. To this day, I will not wear 'cropped' pants.

Hi April - I'm wearing a size Medium in the lavendar V-neck Tee that I'm wearing in this video. I typically wear a size small, but this one looked like it ran a little small, plus it's 100% Cotton so I wanted to allow for shrinkage. I hope this helps!
