  • Do you like DIY? Do you have a family and need to add more seats to your current two seat RZR? It may be cheaper to stretch it than it would be to trade it and buy a new one. In Part 1 I purchase a two seat RZR and tare it apart to make way for all new 4 seat parts.
    Moore Power Garage goes hands-on with Jason Moore as he shows you the process of how to disassemble a two seat RZR.

    Any chance you have a part number list of the 28 parts for those of us that can't get a donor car?

    wow, I can't believe the frame sections are just bolted together, that makes things a lot easier but I'd figure weaker... guess not.

    Couldn't you have just gotten the measurements on the xp 4 front frame and just used those to extend the xp front with some tubing and sheet metal

      in total I believe it was somewhere around 50 hours of work. however if I just stretched it and didn't rebuild anything in the process it would have been closer to 20.

    I did exactly that to my Sportsman XP 1000 , I cut the frame and added over 4" and now I have 58" wheelbase and I only had a buy a 2 up driveshaft and some steel and welding supplies.

      That's awesome man. Did you cut/ splice the wiring harness?

      @@moorepowergarage6205The taillights are in the same place the only thing moved back was the part with rear differential and A-arms and wheels and also got lucky enough that the brake line was long enough and still even has slack. Only had to buy a 2 up driveshaft ,metal and sold bar that I turned down to fit inside the frame tubing for a press fit almost didn't need weld it but I did weld it. And a crazy thing is that all frame tubing was a different size and a big difference between smallest to biggest it made me mad because I had to go back and forth test fitting in and out of the lathe.

      @@crazyflyboy30 that's awesome man. I'm lucky that this will be all bolt on parts. I did have to weld up some new brackets but that's only because I'm using a wiring harness from a different model year.

  • @bradhughes613

    Why exactly did you remove the engine harness? I would think the ecu would stay in its location and you could just extend a handful of wires that need to make it to the dash?

      @moorepowergarage6205  3 роки тому +2

      In 2019 they moved the fuse box from under the rear left seat to under the dash. I got a good deal on a 2020 harness and made the switch. If I did it again I would just cut and extend the harness

    Hey I’m buying the parts now but just a quick question I’ve found that 14-16 front frame are the same what year did your front frame come from do you know?

    • @moorepowergarage6205
      @moorepowergarage6205  2 роки тому +1

      Mine is from a 2015. In 2016 they added some brackets in the front so you can mount the front sway bar. That should be the only difference in the 2014-2016 frames

    I don’t need four seats, just room enough to stretch my legs.
