  • Today we head to the the garage to show cleaning the air filter, hitting the wheel bearing and grease fittings, and changing the spark plugs. Was informed the outwear covering the filter is part#799-504 from airraid for anyone wondering.

    I’m an old guy, been ridding for the last 55 years off road, start on a mini trail 50, lots of motorcycles, birt bikes, street bike, four wheelers and side by sides over those years, I do all of my own maintenance too, I watches some of your videos, very well done my young friend, highly recommend your videos you other riders , great info

    I do have one neg comment on this video, but great video, never use an impact on the spindle nuts, I have come across a few used rzrs that an impact was used, it’s not hard to mushroom the hub while the bearing is inside, then it’s a pain to get the bearing off and you have to replace the hub, I promise, have fixed three recently, but great info folks

    I just picked up my first side x side. 2012 polaris ranger rzr xp 4 900.
    What else would you recommend to do for maintenance?
    Previous owner changed belt last year and maybe put 10 hours on it since. 2,600hrs.
    I live up in Alberta canada and it gets real cold up here.
    Do you recommend 0-50 oil???

    • @utvoutlaws6652
      @utvoutlaws6652  2 роки тому

      There is a part 1 to this as well that goes over some additional maintenance items. But I would mostly follow everything in the manual. Motor Oil, diff changes, checking on the air filter and blowing out the clutches every ride and cleaning them a couple times a year etc. Thanks for watching 😊
