I have 128GB. I have a few ways to use all of my RAM. y-cruncher calculate Pi. Blender, rendering and denoising a 36k image. And the easiest. RAM drive. Each of those can use all 128GB on their own. All together? I dare not even try.
I'm sitting here with 256GB RAM, and tbh it's just a waste. I've never actually used more than 100GB RAM. Oh well, at least the stuff was super cheap. Plus in my case, my system is super unbalanced too, I'm still using an i7 5930K and GTX 1080, so old stuff. In my case, 128GB RAM would do the trick just great.

@@xpodx Blender. Being able to render different parts of an animation, or different animations at the same time is very convenient.

I have 192GB of RAM on my 7950X CPU + RTX-4090 GPU + 16TB U2 SSD, I use it for rendering via Waifu2x-Extension-GUI.

It doesn't give me a 8k option. I've tried to enable it. Nothing Is working, idk why it doesn't just work.

Easy, build the linux kernel from source. You'll need more than 64 gigs for that. Oh and your pc would turn into a space heater

I can run 8K and your video at 4K and use 14.6 Gig out of 32 running at 7200Mhz.
