My 6 year old son spotted 2 baby frogs whilst on a woodland walk and was fascinated and shown a great interest. so i was looking for ways we could have them at home where he could learn about them and it look decorative. I am so glad i came across your channel its just what ive been looking for ❤❤❤. I look forward to following your content 👍
Thank you so much for watching my video and commenting such nice, moving words. It’s people like yourself Philip that motivate me to keep going. I promise you I’ll do my best to update my channel the best I can. I’m constantly posting shorts/reels and hopefully one day I can afford a camera, equipment & editing software instead of doing it all on my phone. I hope you’ve had a wonderful Sunday ✌️❤️
the frogs are amazing, its literally a totally contained universe capable of breeding pure life - everything looks so healthy and the mushrooms are insane!
Pretty lil' froggies. It's tough to maintain the bioactive aquarium / reptile case, as occasionally they can be high maintenance, especially at first. So that was awesome to see it thriving.
One thing I’d love to see (I wish I would be able to get the chance to do in the future as well) is a L-shaped reef aquarium that on one side has drawers and such and on the other side has a sofa so you can truly see it from all around but still for the fishies you have a lot of hiding places and such for the to escape and hide. It’s just something I’d love to see or maybe even do as a dream
ive seen serpa design ecosystem and its well made and ive seend other big channels but by far you have the best bc its perfectly well made and leveled out it just balanced its not to much or to less of life and detail

Underrated channel You earned a subscriber Also, can you make a video talking about cleaning and maintenance of the tank as well as what plants you used?
frogs are my favorite!! I'm actually watching a bunch of your videos to get ideas for a Pacific Northwest snail terrarium myself. I've always wanted some Pacific tree frogs but I don't think I'm quite prepared yet 😅
I don't have a blog as such tbh, my youtube is kind of my blog but I am going to start doing in length videos about what I do and why as it's been really requested recently :D
That’s an unbelievable idea! I’m thinking perhaps maybe a series too? I’d love to do a scene from Star Wars or even stranger things, I think I could create that quiet easily 🤔
Oh, you've got inky cap mushrooms! That's awesome! I was hoping to build an ecosystem myself for these tiny mushrooms. I really love them in the wild :D The brown/blackish residue can be made into ink :D Did you use branches or something from the wild? The mycelium (of which the mushrooms are the fruit) could have been in there. 🤔 I remember subbing to your channel in the past. Somehow the sub disappeared. Resubbed now 😁
Oh wow I didn’t know you can make it into ink! That’s super fascinating though because I wondered why the spores lingered so much compared to other mushrooms I’ve experienced within the hobby. I’m glad you managed to find the channel again and thank you for being here ❤️🌱🍄
I like all your terrariums and builds so updates for everything is always appreciated. Going through everything at once quickly perhaps? A build i most intrigued by but dont know how well itd do or look is a desert ecosphere. If that seems boring then a true aquatic ecosystem. It wouldnt be lush but the rocks, mulm, insects, various (native?) Fish. And if thats too much space, a mantis?
Okay man that’s a really good idea! You’re far too kind too, I’ll make sure I do an aquatic one or a desert one for you 😄 I’ll make sure I include these idea ls within my polls, I love sticklebacks and have always wanted a native ecosystem containing them ☺️
Thank you so much buddy! They don’t have the toxins they get in the wild as in captivity they don’t eat the ants they do, which gives them the poison 😄🌱🐸
Can you make a full tutorial from the tank you bought to the stuff you into it to make it so great and the different species you put into it and stuff like that as this is absolutely amazing and id love to make one myself😃
Thank you so so much! I do have a full build video on this channel, it was called “How to make a river creek” or along those lines. If you check my most popular videos from the video section it will pop up! Thank you so much again 😄✌️❤️
@@AntScapes1 Yes of course! I love learning the in depth information about all the species and clips of all the animals functioning in their eco system
Did you only use a water pump in this build to get the water system running or did you also pare it with an external filter? I'm basically trying to figure out if you used both of the filters that are linked in the description, if so is it the 100/l and the 1000/l version? 😅
Hey buddy! I just used a small pump, similar to the 100l/h but it was actually the 250l/h version, I only ran the pump for the first 8-12 months or so. Now I don’t run a pump at all as the plants and bioactive side of the tank do the rest 😄
Hey, I’ve always wanted to make an ecosystem but never knew how. I browsed your channel and you seem to know a lot about this. Can you please do like a guide on how to make an ecosystem and list the materials and the bugs/animals/insects I gotta get? That would be truly wonderful. Doesn’t matter if you can’t, just hope you live a wonderful life. You’re amazing bro Edit: also I sadly can’t purchase from any store or get like frogs or some kind of exotic animal, cause I live in Costa Rica and we have laws against purchasing exotic animals.

I’ll break it down from the soil upwards so it’s a little easier for people to follow too! Thank you so much for watching and commenting but mainly for the super kind words ❤️
My man I’ve been watching gecko videos NONSTOP for the past month in hopes of getting one and creating a nice vivarium for it but you completely changed this and now I really think I’m going to get frogs instead Amazing work, a question I have though is how many tadpoles typically survive and grow, and would it ever overpopulate the tank or be an issue? i will try to find the answers by watching every vid though!
Haha that’s very true! Most ecosystem videos you see on UA-cam have to feed the animals. For example like crabs, geckos, lizards or any form of animal needs the proper diet & care. I think it’s mainly driven around how little/how much maintenance that it needs or requires. For example my bearded dragon biotope is a daily routine, however, this is every 3 days meaning it’s much less effort. But even geckos need feeding everyday so it could never technically be a true “ecosystem”. Dont worry too, I don’t think you’re sassy 😉

Just a small pool, around 4-5 litres! They don't need much and its a drown risk for the adults so I kept it super shallow :)
