I just came here to say that about a year after purchasing this year I'm quite convinced that this might be the best product I ever bought. Not just light, product. It's so handy to have this thing that weighs like 12 grams on your car keychain and you will ALWAYS have a light with you. I mostly use it to avoid walking through puddles / mud / wet grass etc but also to illuminate small things at work, get through my shed without bothering to turn the lights on. It's just a few seconds every time but I couldn't do without a keychain light anymore. I think I've only charged it 5 times or so, these leds are so efficient. Laughable to think that you can get all this for €22 (where I live), 20 years ago you'd spend that on batteries each year for a light that was 50 times heavier and half as bright.
Tiki le flashlight is just an amazing little keychain light. 300 lumens so this is ideal for camping in tent and out side tent. Well worth having for edc and back up light when you need it most. Glad I saw this on somebody's youtube channel and he spoke highly if it. Glad I've got mine and I should buy another one soon!
Great product, have ordered it for myself and then for all people around me that saw this tiny beast. It has in it all you might need for an EDC device. But for future improvements I would really recommend to update the charger to type C (its the only device I have with micro usb) also increasing the length a bit (maybe to the length of AURORA led light) in order to add a bigger battery and ergonomics. Also great addition to current times and maybe travelling is the addition/change of the UV light into a fully functionable UVC led light. I checked the parameters and even if it potentially CAN kill bacteria (50% immobilization rate for certain bacteria's) its wave length is not powerful enough for viruses. So a 256nm wavelength would be ideal. I think that one might be one the most well thought and designed mini EDC light. +sell it with a detachable clip.
Or you just could buy the Nitecore charger that fits all Nitecore products. I did the same, after finding out that my old micro USB from my old phone is a tad too short to stay connected without fidgeting with it a bit.

This light is excellent for how cheap it is. I use mine a few hours a week at work. It puts out plenty of light to see in dark areas and is not bulky in your pocket. The battery lasted little over 2 years and then it wouldn't charge. I had no hesitation ordering another one to replace it.
Bought mine love it, use it at home, use it at office fixing things, we had power outage. Friends and family can't believe how cool it is. Nitcore is my favorite light company. Love this show

I'd just go for some kind of high cri 18650 light. Plenty of power and more than enough life at reasonable settings. Still pretty small too. The only 18650 light I personally own is a dcg (I think) tiny 4.. it's my "big" light. Yes, they're identical except for the phosphorescent body. I don't even own it yet but I've been researching the different versions, and that is obvious. I've decided that if you want to use the UV functionality, the non-GITD version is actually better, since the green or blue phosphorescence will make it harder to distinguish the fluorescence of whatever you're looking for.
It was an honest question. I was mostly concerned that the glow in the dark coloring of the body, would be in place of the pure white latern mode (which it isn’t). I have since received them & loved them so much, I have ordered several more of them, and have given as presents. Fantastic EDC light! I can see what you mean about the UV mode, but I love the blue gitd version of this so much, I just stuck to it. Plus I also have a beefier nitecore UV flash light that I use for occasions that I really need UV, along with one of those cone tip diffusers
A clip on the back of Tiki (for a hat light) would be amazing... Tiki v2 should have a clip going from the metal part to the back or even a plastic detachable accessory for the original.. Maybe if you are making a detachable accessory clip for the original you could make it from a strong rubber band that would grip the light and metal clip going down...
@@NitecoreSG cannot be. i tried one iphone charger, powerbank (fully charged) and also one USB hub connected to a charger. I also tried 2 different Tiki's - same result. Please try yours. How many amps does it need?

I think you're mistaken. The UV light is 500mW (not lumen), maybe that's what you're thinking of. None of these has a green light output except for the dim glow of the green GITD version.
Yes, best keychain light on the planet. Regular TIKI is all you need. I have 2. Multi use extends to taking it camping (lamp mode) and cycling (blinker mode). And no, it does not last a long time at 300 lumens. Carry a power bank.
Micro USB is easy to break. That is a common issue for all product. USB-C is supposed to be better physically. I imagine using this flexible cable and the Tiki as a work light and bending into position will just wreck the charge port with Micro USB eventually.

Does the Tiki have a Lockout Mode? I showed it to my boss and she started pressing buttons like crazy, then it stopped turning on. I charged it fully, and now it still won't turn on. How can i turn off Lockout Mode?
Seems like rovyron but larger and less lumens
I have a problem the blue charging light dosn’t turn off and drinks all my battery how can i fix it?
I bought the GITD and the Blue GITD, my 1yr old keeps playing with the UV, it’s a low brightness but is this dangerous for 1yr olds?
How about a clip accessory for the tiki?
The usb port cover is quite flimsy, mine broke of due too rubbing with keys on the key chain
I refuse to buy anything that's micro USB at this point. It's 2022...I want one so bad but not until it's USB-C.
Thank you
I have the tiki gitd. It does not glow that well. I have other gitd plastics which are better but no light. Better than no glow I guess.
thanks man
Good review 👍🏽
Tiki can be used while charging. But has anyone tried using it for several hours while charging on 300L mode? And also on High CRI Constant on. Will it overheat?
I will purchase 1
Nice light
What is the flex cable
What is this USB câble do You have a link ?
Is it lockable? Not read all the comments. Thank you in advance for any comments.
My tube is now with my car keys. My tiki is with my edc bag.
This is cool for keychain light but i prefer guardian angel as EDC
flexible usb cable ?
I love my tiki
I got lots of money and good sense, I got an Aurora 550lm titanium with those little glowing tritium thingys in it..I love it...BUT, I got a TIKI LE too because I really really love Nitecore lights and chargers, and whistles, I really love my NTP10 pen and my TUBES and Thumb, my E4K, and my LA10 and LR12.. my NU32 headlamp and my LR60 ...I gotta stop watching these videos or I'll be broke.
Does it hurt the led at 300 lumen for a long time on?
Nope, 300 lumens is safe to operate at
Bought the Tiki GITD but the UV light won’t turn on sometimes, is there a percentage where it doesn’t turn on or is it defective?
If it doesn’t turn on then it’s faulty, can swap it at your local distributor or wherever you got it from
@@NitecoreSG darn I’ll swap it, I thought it was a low battery thing, like only the UV won’t turn on at low power or something like that
How long does the tiki last on fully charged battery ? With the 300 lumen mode on ?
30min on the site
Does the gitd version have the lantern mode? I just ordered two of them yesterday, & while rewatching this video, noticed that it wasn't mentioned
Plus I also have a beefier nitecore UV flash light that I use for occasions that I really need UV, along with one of those cone tip diffusers
when will they USB c
Don't care about the UV light, would much prefer a red light instead
how can i order this light in pakistan
very similar to jetbeam mini one, comparison video coming?
better tiki, i have jet beam, battery drain when long not use.
Yes there might be a separate attachment in future like the TIP2
@@NitecoreSG you mean the aurora A5?
Whats common between all of them ... micro usb
Not anymore. This video came out almost exactly 4 years ago, they've since updated them all to USB-C (all other functions are the same)
Can you confirm something for me. When my TIKI goes dimmed, I plug it into a USB power source but I cant get the full brightness. Why is that?
Your USB port may not have enough current to charge and go to full brightness at the same time. Try another port?
@@NitecoreSG cannot be. i tried one iphone charger, powerbank (fully charged) and also one USB hub connected to a charger. I also tried 2 different Tiki's - same result. Please try yours. How many amps does it need?
There is one more TIKI model with also green light in addition, - and the WHITE light output is 500Lumen intermittent, 300Lumens normal, otherwise the excact same look and size
I think you're mistaken. The UV light is 500mW (not lumen), maybe that's what you're thinking of. None of these has a green light output except for the dim glow of the green GITD version.
This adjustable cable come with the Tiki GITD flashlight?
MsSarraceno does not, have to buy separately
@@NitecoreSG My dear, do you know the name or type of the model of this cable? I'm looking and can't find. Thank you!
This flashlight doesn't have a demo mode?
Does not, only the TIP and TINI lights have that
Why not give pocket clip ? can clip to the hat
Where can we buy the cable what is it called
Comes with it
Please give me one brother, not available in Bangladesh
I bought tiki
😎
Are they USB C ?
No
Yes, best keychain light on the planet. Regular TIKI is all you need. I have 2.
Multi use extends to taking it camping (lamp mode) and cycling (blinker mode).
And no, it does not last a long time at 300 lumens. Carry a power bank.
Why micro USB? Deal breaker
You prefer usb-c?
@@NitecoreSG yes usb c of this would be amazing
You don't have any Micro USB cables lying around?
If battery dies this flashlight is useless.
Micro USB is easy to break. That is a common issue for all product. USB-C is supposed to be better physically. I imagine using this flexible cable and the Tiki as a work light and bending into position will just wreck the charge port with Micro USB eventually.
Model of that cable?
That’s the micro usb flex cable
@@NitecoreSG Is it sold by Nitecore? Is there a usb c version of that cable? I'm looking for it but i couldn't find it anywhere.
Great review. Thank you. The music was distracting and too loud.
LE is silly, what kind of police officer is gonna wear that on their uniform? High CRI version is best 👍🏽
Please add subtitles, can't understand most of your words mr
A5x better
Add english CC please!
I can't afford one, if anyone like to donate
