The ZV-E10 is the “Scrappy Doo” of the camera world. No matter what camera is released with mighty specs, the ZV-E10 uses its “puppy power” and says “Lemme at ‘em” I love mine and I would recommend to anyone starting out in photography and videography. 👍🏻👍🏻
Can you tell me if the zve10 can record up to 4-5 hours without overheating and which cards would you buy for longer recording times? I want to film at the beach and some local lakes.
@@benicio1967 to be honest I have never used my ZV-E10 continuously for that length of time so never experienced overheating. I know in the setup menu go to power setting option and then Auto Power OFF Temp. There is two options Standard and High. Select HIGH in this mode it is recommended that you shoot using a tripod and with the screen articulated in the out position so heat can disperse. I would also suggest maybe a power bank instead of using batteries if recording 4K in long stints. I use SanDisk extreme pro uhs-1 200mbs. You can get anything from 32GB up to 1TB all great for recording 4K video. I hope this helps.
Gavin, what do you think are the best lenses for zve10? I want to be able to make social media content, portrait videos and perhaps wedding photography/cinematography.
@@kuramafox1290 Either Sigma 16mm or 30mm. Best bang for your buck and both excellent quality lenses. OP combo tbh. The quality you can get with these lenses and the ZV-E10 is absurd. It rivals full frame sensor cams for a fraction of the price.
@@kuramafox1290 hi, as a starting point you can’t go wrong with the sigma f1.4 primes if you want something more versatile without switching lenses go for the sigma 18-50 f2.8, great light weight lens that is not bad for video and all the lenses I mentioned fit great when using a gimbal.
I have just ordered mine on Amazon and can't wait to test it out. I took your advise Mark and have been watching your videos for months now. Thank you!
FX30 looks like a great camera but let's be honest, price is the most important factor here. I would get one myself but I personally already have bmppc 6k as a main camera for great image quality and ZV E10 for it's great AF.
ZV E10 is probably good enough for most people that are not professional filmmakers 🙂
Great job on the video Mark! Thanks for making it. I currently shoot (mostly outdoors) on an a6400, and have always said I would upgrade as soon as there was a camera that had at least 3 new features that I wanted. One of those "features", I always assumed, would be moving to full frame. So all the lenses that I bought we for full frame. But with the release of the FX30, all of the other features (and there are a lot) are so compelling that it made me reevaluate my need for full frame. Once I decided to embrace the APS-C ecosystem, and that my needs didn't really necessitate going to full frame, I sold all my big glass (including my beloved 20mm G) and started to shop crop. I'm going to get the FX30 eventually, but since I need a back-up camera right now, I've been looking heavily at the ZV-E10. I've always said that the a6400 is the best value-for-dollar STUDIO camera in Sony's lineup, but at an even lower price-point, to get one that has stabilization as well? This could be my go-to.
the zv-e10 is such a great camera and a great value. I use it CONSTANTLY
Thanks to your videos I recently bought a zv e10 and I recorded my latest video with it. The quality is night and day compared to my iPhone X. It has pretty much all I need to get good photos and videos, plus the vast amount of lens options will allow me to improve.
Great to hear!! It’s a fantastic camera that can do so much especially with all the good lenses available
Pre-ordered it too! So looking forward to it 😍
Oh dear... I've just found your channel - and just bought a ZV-E10, oddly enough. You made me chuckle, as well as passing on a lot of info. Subscribed & Liked!
Welcome aboard!
I'm glad that I bought the zve10 when I did... Only thing that has been a pain in the A was the shaky handheld footage (especially when it's too dark to use a shutter-speed that looks good with catalyst) so I'd like to see a test with the fx30s IBIS :)
SAME! the reason why I bought the zv e10 is because of Marky...😘😘
One the the best comparison videos. Love your content. Subscribed
Awesome, thank you!
My heart started racing as I thought Sony had sent you a Fx30 to test. Come on Sony, ante up! One funny thing I noted that at least one store taking pre-orders here in Canada had attached a premium over and above the $1800 US (adjusted for the exchange rate). Always enjoy your videos and loved the start!
I wish!! maybe if the channel gets more popular🤣
Extremely useful comparing! Now I using Nex5t and it is very ok. So all what I need is zv-e10 no more. Such a relief.
it’s so great
thank you very much for the useful information in many videos, I hear half of the information and I have forgotten at the end, for some reason I wanted this camera, you say everything right away, thank you very much, well done, very good job
Love your videos! I purchased my own "little dougie" just a few months ago and have been a little afraid to invest too much in lenses because I haven't been sure about that upgrade path (as you said). I am super thrilled to know about the FX30 (this is first I have heard of it) and it's now on my "next year" list because I do feel the need for a 2nd angle camera as I move forward with my plans to start making documentary films. These will still mostly be interview/talking head style content, but I will want to get some b roll and some other types of content that will be more suited to the FX30 as well in the (hopefully) near future.
the fx30 will be amazing for your documentaries. great one, two punch wi5 Dougie!!
Can't wait to see a head-to-head between Dougie and Eddie! I'm rooting for Doug all the way!
If he can handle the A7iv and canon r5c - I’m sure he’ll be fine!!
Love your videos, they are always so helpfull for a newbie like me ! Thanks a lot for your work !
You convinced me to buy my little ZvE10 + Sigman 16mm DCDN 1.4 lense as my first camera ( I was looking something to mainly shoot some Dog education session ) 9 months ago, and I really love it. my only little concern wasa bit too much grain in low light situations, as soon as I was increasing the Iso above 400.
Thanks to you, I think that it's time to buy a little F30 brother to my ZvE10 ! ( Well, as soon as I can find one, as currently, I can't really find a store to preorder it in Montreal ).
what about Gosselin?
Sadly no. I even called them, but they didn’t even know when they will have it or not :(
Mark ...dude I love your reviews ...the go to channel when I want to purchase anything !!!! Well done man
I appreciate that!
Hurrah! this is the video i was expecting to watch. Thank you...
You know I had to do it 😂
hey, i always waiting you to talking about zv-e10 like this. I just subscribe you, all of your vids is so amazing and detail.
btw, I'm tech creator from Indonesia (Bali), glad to see your channel on my youtube home recommendation.
love it and thanks for everything 🤗
Thanks - awesome channel 133k subs - wow!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks, hey i wanna ask something. what should i search for having an effect on the camera that shows the videos like "you are on the heaven", is it effect or something like ND filter? or is come from cine camera or come from the lens? u know what i mean? sorry for my bad english 😂
idk how to describe that 🤦♂.
The FX30 is like a beast but I'm waiting for the price to go down in europe before I buy it, Definitely one that I want to have next to my ZVE10, I would like to see some tests between the ZVE10 and the FX30 as you usually do with 2 cameras, Love your vids 😍😍
I wanna make podcast video with two zve10 and one FX30
My ZVE10 is a trooper with the sigma 18-50. But also I like that mark only holds the ZVE10 for the comparisons because it’s so light you can forget it’s there sometimes lol
Love your content keep on going.
GREAT video. Subbed. Keep at it!!
Just pre ordered the FX30. My a6600 will be sent on its way to a new owner once it shows up! With its S Cinetone and new menu system, it will match up to my a7iv which my 6600 doesn’t do. FX30 as a dedicated video cam and my a7iv on photo/B video cam it’s gonna be sweet!!
Mark, I have the Sony A7IV, and I use that for photos and some outdoor video that I shoot (Catalyst Browse to the rescue!). Now, I have the Sony FX30 on order, and I like the idea of the minimal crop at 60p, rather than what happens with the ZV-E10, as well as the dual card slots, and the regular battery. However, right now, my primary purpose for another camera is to use in a studio setting for meetings and talking head shots (2nd angle). I don't plan on really "moving" or walking with this camera (I am not a vlogger), so I could get the ZV-E10 and the Sigma trio (currently have just the Sony 24mm F1.4) for about the same price as the FX30! Although, I am planning on getting a gimbal and do more outdoor videos next year, and was hoping for an update to the A6600, and saw the FX30 as something that may help improve the video stuff that I am thinking may be possible. Am I just working myself into a tizzy here or is there an easier explanation?
when in doubt, stick with your instinct- the fx30 will be amazing for your studio setting. much better screen, battery life, and controls than the zv-e10. full size hdmi, the 10-bit colour. you’ll love it. the zv-e10 is great too, but the fx30 is a much better studio workhorse
Eddy is a great name for the FX30!
I think the FX30 is great for a pro-level camera, but for now I'm still content with the ZV-E10!
zv-e10 can give amazing footage. and it’s a perfect travel camera!!
I'm looking at both of these cameras for a 2-cam interview setup.... it seems like the ZV-E10 will be able to handle the job. Thanks for the comparison here!
Hi Mark,
Almost 20k. Congratulations (in advance).
Do you know if we can plug an xlr microphone in the ZV E10?
Thank you
Thanks!! You cannot without a hot shoe accessory or adapter cable. (Same with the fx30 unless you buy the extra tip handle)
Great stuff
Sound advice, thank you. A competent, experienced and enthusiastic vlogger can do more with the cheaper consumer gear (even mobiles and action cams) than you'd imagine. Content is key, as is personality. Sure, once it all works out of course you will want to upgrade, but find your feet first and change gear to fix issues rather than chase the mythical 4:2:2 10 bit (which is recompressed anyway after uploading to UA-cam). A comparison of 8 bit ZV-E10 to 10 bit 4:2:2 FX30 footage would be nice to see. Keep up the good work - love your style and format.
Thanks - great comment - will be doing that comparison for sure 👍
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Thanks Mark!
Does the FX30 have a recording light indicator like the ZVE10?
yes it does, and the record button actually lights up too
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Awesome! Thanks! Now onto re-watching your other FX30 comparison videos 😆
Hello Mark! Got allready ZV-E10 and planning to buy FX30 in near future .... Cos you have both, can you please tell me how to get video files to be matched? You go with similiar setting in FX30 as with ZV or what is your magic to get videos to match in color and in all?
Camera Crisis Video Predictor: FX30 Vs the World...you my friend are a legend. Dangit, I missed streaming on my video! You always beat me
haha - you video is ACTUALLY good - showing great footage and graphics - not just some loud-mouth yelling about specs 🤣🤣
Can't wait to get my FX3. I got a cinema lens and a follow focus system to dip my toes into the "film maker" world. I plan to use it on the ZV-E10 as well. Pray for me :-)
It’s gonna be great!!
12:42 Hey, would you consider doing a follow up video to this comparing little duggee to the FX30 again now that you’ve had it for several months? I have the ZV-E10 and have been considering upgrading to the FX30 mainly for the 10bit and 4K 60. I’m happy staying with APSC as I don’t want or need to get into the cost of full frame glass and already have some great lenses that work for me. Oh and thanks for all the vids and humour, you really make a difference in case you didn’t know but maybe you did 😂
thanks for saying that - I will revisit these two for sure. the FX30 is a great upgrade. besides the specs, The camera makes shooting so easy. you’re set up and shooting in seconds. Changing settings is a breeze with the menu and all the buttons.
Great footage, thx :)
I literally google this this morning expecting you to have a video on it. Guess I was early :P
Just keep hitting refresh every 4 seconds after you wake up 🤣
Another great video. What lens do you use on the ZV E10 when you want to keep your kit small ?
The Sony 11mm 1.8 or the Sony 15mm 1.4
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks, I will have a look at them.
Mark, could you make a video about all Sony's cameras explained? I'm having a hard time trying to understand all the different models and cameras. Thanks a lot!!!
I am working on this exact video!!
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Wow!!! I can't believe it!!! Looking forward to it!!!
I hope you include all the mirrorless (some of them minute) cameras as well as the FX3 and FX30! But as always, it'll be GREAT!!! Thank you for taking the time to listen to commenters and subscribers!
hi Mark, you are great!! One question: on ZVE10 which color profile do you use? ...which setting do you prefer? ...maybe you already made a video about this? thanks dear
I have made a few videos on it, but I use the LeemingLUT for color correction with the HLG3 profile or the cine 2 profile
Man, how you slip in a few jokes in and out is amazing.. i need to pause just to laugh 😂..keep up the great content.
Haha - thanks!!
The FX30 is going to be great! Cool video man!
I'd like to see a low light test vs the A7c and ZV-e10. the Sony Cine YT channel did an "introduction" video and the artefacts in the shadows of low light outside the 2500 are heinous, and deal breaking
I I’d one of those actually - and both are useable way above iso 2500 ua-cam.com/video/6OsvCJ-o7Tc/v-deo.html
i'd be curious how much better dynamic range is, because apparently it has only about 11.4 stops, so quite a low value. yes, zv e-10 is 8 bit, but they might be close.. like, slog2 compared between the two, how much a difference will it be..
Excelent video, Thank
You are welcome!
Interesting comparative. If ZV-E10 had 10 bits for me, it would be perfect. FX30 is definitely better from all technical points of view but I can't stand UHD / 50p crop. For professional productions I think FX3 / a7S3 is better. In Italy FX30 will arrive in December and the list price is 2300 €. Thank you
Amazing video. 👏 Question. What do you recommend between FX30 .. aZVE10... or a6700?
for vide fx30 - for photos a6700
On the verge or ordering a ZV-E10. Time to finally semi-retire my good old Canon T2i. Mainly though I'm getting it for video of my band setting the camera up on stage to capture video of the shows but it'll be nice to also have something that can take good still photos. Your videos have been a big help. I also checked out the low light comparison with the other more expensive Sony's and I think this little thing punches WAY above it's pay grade.
My only question is how big of a difference in low-light video performance is there between the 16-50 kit lens and the sigma 16mm 1.4 or canon 15mm f1.4?
the difference in the kit lens vs a 1.4 is huge. the 1.4 will let in almost 8 times the light. It’s hard to overstate how much better it is in lowlight
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks for the quick reply. I just ordered the cam with the 15mm f1.4 lens.
Hey Mark, I would assume the handle/hot shoe mount for the FX30 is the same as the ZV-E10? Sooooo, obviously I would LOVE to use the FX30 handle on my E10, but not sure if that would work? Yes, no? Have you tried it? Thanks for any answers if you can.
you should be able to use the handle with the zv-e10 in theory, but the problem is that the handle fastens to the fx30 with thumb screws. If you put the handle on the ZVE10, it will slide in to the hot shoe but have no way to secure the handle, so it will be able to slide out at any time. you certainly wouldn’t be able to pick it up.
I'm so tempted to bypass the zv e10 and zv1 and go for the fx30 but it would be an overkill for our daily vlogs 😅. Love your vids 💙💙💙
the struggle is real 🤣🤣
That's and understatement
I want the FX30 as well. I bought two ZV-E10s in the last 30 days. For me they are everything I wanted and actually quite a bit more. I can get so much tonneh that it’s too much tonneh at times with my 1.4 30 mm lens.
I’ve been using my a6500 and wanted to upgrade badly when the a6400 , a6600 , zv e10 . I told myself don’t upgrade hold out for 4k 60 , I bought the fx30 Saturday and it came in yesterday.
@@van94weightlossjourney I have the a sigma 30 mm and 16 mm 1.4 I tested the footage with the sigma lenses the fx30 footage looks like a red using those lenses
Haha exactly. When I heard about this new kid on the block FX30 and then I hear its a Sony APS-C I immediately felt good about picking up the ZV-E10. Ecosystem! and all that jazz :)
The future looks bright for apsc!!
As a Sony FS7 owner the FX30 is *EXACTLY* what I want to see for a B Cam! So I don't need to change over all my lenses away from Super 35
makes perfect sense
Great Video!!!
But I have a question. I just bought an FX 30 and I am really disappointed. The focus breathing, it is just terrible. And even after spending a lot of time with all the presets it is still is really bad. I thought it was my lens. But, when I put that Sigma 23mm 1.4f lens on my ZV-E10 the breathing is minimal. I have tried to search UA-cam, but all the examples of setting up the AF are of an older firmware version and the menus don't match what is on my camera, with Version 3.0. To be honest I am ready to send it back and buy another ZV-E10.
Thanks I am an Old School video guy and your videos have helped me so much with all this new gear, thanks again.
Mark, this is such a great intro… headphones on dougie 🎧📷 😂😂
🤣🤣
Yep, the ZV-E10 is still compelling for a lot of reasons. Great video.
Two things I consider the FX30 is short of a perfect video camera: internal ND filters (ZV-1 has one, that goes for FX3 as well) and uncompressed 4:4:4 RAW output (might be possible via FW updates). And perhaps open gate mode, or anamorphic mode support like the Lumixes.
internal nds would be awesome and some of those wonderful Panasonic features would be great too,
I really like the diversity (but it does not come cheap) - last week I shot a video on Ronin 4D, which I originally pre-visualized on a S5. For interviews I am using two ZV-E10, for event recording such as concerts, shows or theatre I am still using Lumix MFT bodies (mostly because when assembling a BYOC team, everyone has basically a GH5/6/G9, so it matches chip/color - wise). Some of my lenses are EF and can be adapted to any of these bodies, but building native mount setup for four different mounts is pricey.
Do you know if you could integrate footage from both of these cameras into one short film with little difficulty? I currently use two zve10s for a multi cam setup, but I’d love to add on of these if they will play well together.
For sure you can mix them. I will be doing that myself when it arrives
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Awesome!! Thank you!! I just ordered one. The price was climbing on Amazon all morning for some reason. So I had to grab one before it got any higher. Haha. Thanks again and keep up the great content!
I just had a thought for your upcoming reviews... I can't find any info on this for the FX30... Can you record open gate on the FX30? This is the one really interesting thing about the XHS2 for people who also shoot for vertical. I don't think the FX30 can do open gate, but not sure.
no open gate on the Sony. Panasonic is doing it in their new cameras and the XH2S.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Ah, so sad :( Sony, go with the times! LOL Anyway, looking forward to your reviews!
Sorry guys to ask this, but what is this "open gate"?
Do you mean without lenses?
@@rabahfdoul4844 Open Gate means you can use the entire sensor size. Most sensors aren't 16:9, but more like 4:3... So e .g. on the XH2S, you can record the entire sensor size in pixels. That gives you more pixels, especially vertically, so you can still zoom in to re-purpose your video for vertical shots.
On the FX30, the sensor is 26MP, but it seems it only records 21MP for video. For photo it uses 26MP. So, basically, you're losing the vertical space due to no open gate. Hope that makes sense.
Hello 👋
I just wanted to say that just now I bought the camera sony zve10. Your channel was the motivation for me. Right now I have only kit Lens. Any suggestions my purpose is videography and photography cinematic videos. Dual I buy sigma 16 ?
I think the sigma 16 is the best overall lens for video for the ZV-E10. The sigma 30 is a good option too if you plan to film other people and not just yourself.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 👍 great thanks lot brother.
Sony should just update zv e10 with sensor from fx30, and it will be a perfect camera - very compact, with great lenses, can be priced under 1000$, and without that terrible rolling shutter.
maybe in a couple of years they'll do that 😂
what kind of sd cards do i need if 4k60p and 4k120p for fx30? thanks you
Sony should have sent you a camera to test as when I saw the FX-30 release, I came to you and Diana's channels first.
They are going to see more ZV-E10 and A6600 users buying this vs the full-frame crowd. I'm going to watch this two or three times.
I agree with both statements. Diana makes some killer Sony APS-C content!!
ZV-E10 plus Kit lens (which seems to have improved in manufacturing quality in the last 6 months compared to previous years) = NZD$1400-1500 vs NZD$3400-3500 preorder for the ZX30 body only. My plan is to have the ZV-1, ZV-E10 & ZX30 as my three go tos. I'll really make savings on the lenses and can now justify grabbing one of the Sirui APS-C Anamorphics for the ZX-30 which was far harder to justify for the ZV-E10. also no need for me to bother with FF which saves me oodles of $$$$. When your most expensive lenses are the new Sony trio (other than the Sirui) your camera budget is very reasonable and achievable
smart budgeting!!
Hello friend, do you think that Sony will launch a new version of the ZE v10 this year?
I really don’t think so. Maybe a Zv1 (the one inch sensor that you can’t change lenses on). Only a guess, but sing has never updated a camera after one year
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis :(
Hahaha.. 😄 you forgot man that the Mic of ZVE10 is on the Top, he hear you loud and clear, your ZVE10 will leave tonight..
haha. I should have mentioned it - but then I would have recommended and external mic anyways. I’ll try to convince Dougie to stay 🤣🤣
hahaha
Hi Mark, Hi everyone, I have a question, hope you'll answer. ZV-E10 is my first target before I fully commit to move on into Sony ecosystem (Currently using Canon 1200D and M50), but was it good enough and worth the money for upgrading? Or should I buy something else?.
When I lookup some other equally priced cameras like Lumix GX9, G7, G85, Nikon Z30 even Canon R10. I just can't decide.
I wanted some longevity, Canon has various mount and I can't use the lens without adapter. Nikon changed it's mount when they entered mirrorless market, so my old Nikon DSLR lens are useless without mount. And Lumix, despite their exceptional performance, and lightweight cameras, are M43.
I worked at school and the most part, photo documentation is my main job, but videos starting to take over my job bit by bit. Not gonna lie, I was haunted by the tight school budget so I must choose quite carefully before I buy.
I really like the ZV-E10 but the Fujifilm X-S10 is an interesting alternative for me because it has a viewfinder
Coul you review the X-S10?
on the way
Great feature comparison. Thank You. As for Names, how about “Ralphie”. Ralphie & Dougie 😂
not bad!!
Hey Mark, Do you idea for date to sony dropping a premiere plugin for catalist browse ?
it’s actually a catalyst prepare plugin. it’s out now. You can try it, but it will be watermarked. if you want to use it fully, it’s a paid subscription support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app/cpplugin/en/preparation/license.php
Thank You man ! ❤️
Should you advice the zv-e10 for a budged A camera for starters? Or should you advice a6400? Idk witch to choose
(For photograpy and cinematic video making)
The zv-e10 is a bit better for video, but the a6400 is better for photos. But the zv-e10 is cheaper so that factors in. The zv-e10 can take great photos, but you need to look at the back screen. Personally I went with the zv-e10
Yeap, Sony ZVE10 still dope in 2023; Owning one and remember last time, it was hard to get like PS5 thou...
I ❤ all your personalities.
🤣🤣we’re the best
Hi Mark.. Which os going to be better for astrology photography and night lapse, star trial etc. Sony zve10 or Nikon Z 30 with kit lens. Thanks
it won’t be great for either. You’ll need a wide angle lens with a lower aperture. Get the Sony zv-e10 and a low aperture lens. you can get a manual focus because you’ll need manual focus for those shots - so you can get a great lens by Samyang for a reasonable price. amzn.to/3SUx3o6
but if you can spend a little more the sigma 16 mm 1.4 is an amazing lens that autofocus well.

@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you so Much Brother . I was very confused between the two. Have ordered Body only for Sony ZV e10 body but the nikon guy made me confuse to go for NIkon for night photography. But sony definitely has the upper edge for third party lenses (all this knowledge came from your videos though :) .
one More Request though. Could you please review SONY 16mm F 2.8 lens and compare it with other lenses as well. Thanks
the Sony 16 2.8 isn’t a great lens. it’s ok, but your money will be better spend elsewhere. the 16mm sigma is much better. it is bigger and heavier though. the Sony 15mm 1.4 is small and light and amazing, but it’s expensive compared to the sigma.
What about the actual cost of a fx30 if you wanted to shoot a fx30 for a wedding day. With a mic. Are you looking more at 3500?? How many cfexpress cards would you need?
You don't need the CF Express cards unless shooting in All-I over 4k60. So your v90 SD cards will cover you for almost anything. I would recommend lav mics for a wedding. The cost will vary depending on which you get.
Thats great. Excellent video. I just bought the zve10 and i like the idea to invest in better lenses then update the camera body later on. Definately call him Eddie unless its a girl of course.
Frankie is on the table as well 🤣
What about dynamic range?
I mentioned it probably too briefly in the vid - but the fx30 will have more. Maybe about a stop more
Does the FX-30 offer the same presets for skin effects etc??
I’m not sure if it had the skin softening effect, but I don’t think it does.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis For me it's important to have a video "out of the camera" looking good without additional post-processing. The Sony ZV-E10 does an amazing job for me !!!
Good one Mark , i already bought SONY ZV E10 ❤️❤️
ZV-E10 gang!!
thank you. Very good comparison. Smart idea to get it done before the camera gets to you. Sony should definitely consider sending you their cameras in advance.
They should!! I guess there are a lot of big UA-camrs in the line 🤣🤣
I shoot with Sony Cinema line already but this new small form camera is my next last camera.
FML. I’ve made $0 on my yt channel (actually negative $$$) and now I’m going to have to buy this amazing FX30. I really do love my two ZV-E10’s which I just bought my first one last month and my second one 11 days ago. 😢😅
Welcome to the insane camera buyers’ club 🤣
You weren’t kidding about getting FX30 content out. Waiting on the ARRI Alexa LF comparison…. 😂
It’s right after the Hasselbad comparison
Welcome to the Crisis Eddie. My little Walter is awaiting his new brother as well. Mark, are we gonna need to form a "ZV-E10 Support Group" for everyone's E10's that may be struggling with "New Sibling" anxiety issue?
Frankie is still on the table. maybe I should do a poll.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Always go with your first instinct. I like Eddie.
Best ZV-E10 channel in the world lol
Like No 100, awaited this compare. Let's watch man, beer
🍺🍺
That’s the video we were waiting for!
I agree that Sony are clearly putting in to the apsc. Rightly so.
Just need sigma to release their version of the 10-18mm and we will be all set!
ohhh - that’d be great.
Tamron 11-20 is on sale.
@@mbvglider too much - the 10-18 be cheaper
I can’t wait for that lens also #experienceafricans
Or a 9-16 🤤🤤
I love the ZV-E10, but the FX 30 is much better.
Great Video 👍🏻
No doubt, no doubt. Room for both in my heart 🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love my ZV-E10 😍
Love your videos from Pakistan, what you say about sony a6700
Probably the best overall value Sony is offering. I own one and have done a lot of reviews on the channel with it.
If you shoot portrait does rolling shutter change into squishing and squashing? o.o
🤣
The fx30 is much better in low light? (like a a7iii? )
not as good as the full frame sony's but should be a bit better than the ZV-E10
Can the fx30 handle very heavy grades like the fx3
Yes, absolutely
Dude I have a question...is Sony a 6400 with sigma 16 mm F1.4 a good for vlogging?
Sony Alpha 7 IV with Sony FE 20mm F1.8 is better.
Perfectly fine
@@lewcehjitl3282 so?
More money than sense.
It can be - as long as you use it on a tripod or a small gimbal. The a6400 has no stabilization so the footage will be very shaky handheld
Am I the only one who thinks this guy looks like Christopher Nolan's little brother in this video? Good content btw! Cheers!
judging by my comment section you are not 🤣. hopefully he’ll leave me some money in his will
Haha, Eddie for sure but Frankie is a great name too! You cut yourself out there man, handing off all the naming glory 😛
I’m on the fence - luckily I’ll have a million more vids to decide. 🤣🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Hey, great community moment, ask everybody to vote on some choice names 👍 Just make sure they're Among the Living 😁
@@KPGuitarStudios haha - I did that before I read this comment. You’re ahead of the game
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Awesome! Next step Patreon to let your fans build your Empire! Mwahaha 😛
Can someone tell how much the zv-e 10 crops in the super35 mode? There are different HD Settings that work only with super35 crop. I was surprised to hear that apsc also crops in super35. Since I only know full frame body's, I know that super35 on a FF Sensor means Apsc (x1, 5) but I do not see any description of how much crop there is by using super 35 on apsc body like this zv-e 10. Thank you
The ZV-E10 is an APS-C sized sensor that is basically identical in size to a Super 35. There is no crop in 4k 25 or 25p. There is a 10 % crop in 30p. The APS-C crop is 1.5X compared to it's full frame equivalent (the same as Super 35). The APSC cameras do not crop in Super 35 mode because they are inherently Super 35 already. Hope that clears it up.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you marc, but please take a look at the HD settings instead of the 4K settings in the zve10. There is shown "super35" when you use HD in 50/50 instead of HD in 100/100. And it crops massive by using HD 50/50. And Sony names it also super 35. Can you please check HD settings to see it? 😄
You should definitely name the fx30 Option #4 🤪🤣🤣😉🤗
I thought the fx30 had a backlit sensor. Not sure the zv e10 does.
the zv-e10 has a backside illuminated sensor. Same one as in the a6400- but they don’t mention it in a lot of the spec sheets.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you sir
Video I've been wanting for...
Earmuff it for me! You're my boy blue. We're going streaking! Is KFC open?
I don't remember my point, I'm too old school.
