Nate back at it again with the coolest video! What about a stingray lure? Hard bait middle, soft bait sides and front? In my opinion if you did a stingray lure, the soft part could be very curved possibly giving it an accurate presentation.

Clearly you need to make a catfish swimbait, I'm serious dude I caught one on it the other day👍 also never done it because I'm 14 and really don't have the money to make the mold but you should make a full body catfish swimbait with a vortex tail. I think that would be awesome, if you out like a beast hook in it

I've had other BPM baits ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

Great work as usual. Others have said this already but I think it’s worth repeating that I totally enjoy watching the process of making the lures. Your storytelling style is very relaxing and engaging. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing the “how and why” of your craft.

Also.. check out West system epoxies bub. They have fast hardner. Slow hardner. Clear coat hardner (make thinned epoxy clear coats, also uv resistant) and they sell just about any viscosity of a filler u will ever need. I use it alot during my boat building. Definitely a great marine product

For the tails, you could always add some notches that fave out so that when you push it into the bait it slides in easy, but then it grabs like barbs so it's harder to pull out, along with he glue

@ approx 1:50, the 'jiggin' Rap' is apparently supposed to do a figure 8-ish type pattern and it does seem to do so on the occasions that I've used it on clear open water. I Still have yet to not only hook but land Anything on this type of lure. I'm presuming that it's operator error, as they keep making (and apparently selling) them. Now I Did get bumped by a few pike, but nothing (so far) has been hooked or landed. We'll see what 2019 brings us!?!🤞👍
