    Chelsea and Chip are crack ups! I don't fish (yet) but love your channel and vids!
    Those baits are great. You need to sell those!
    Here in Wisconsin, one of the smaller lakes up by the capital froze and the number of ice fishing people just popped up like mushrooms!
    I also love how you have grown as a presenter and maker on you tube.

    Those baits are incredibly cool and surprisingly easy to make, you should do a tutorial where you focus on what you need to make the mold, the specific brands that work best or don't work at least the specifications and requirements for the things. like if fast drying silicone is better than slow drying, if specific mold releases work better than others. And get an Amazon Affiliate link so you can put things up there. If more people knew how easy it was to do this I'm sure some devoted fishers would, It's a great extension of the hobby that might save them money and can be done when the weather is not great for fishing.
    Also if you are not going to do that it would be cool to go back and revisit some of your former lure attempts that you think you could have done better and see if you can improve them, make a better one with the knowledge you have now, ask your wife what she would want the bait to do and or just do one completely differently. You can compare the action, color, and any other differences then you and your wife can put both baits to the test head to head. Specifically, there are many different kinds and colors of crawfish and remember you thinking about making it a different way. If there are 3 different ways you can make the crawfish that is 3 different videos on them, although I know crawfish are probably not great winter bait.

    A simple thing to remember in the winter.River fish have to feed more because they are using energy fighting the current.Lake fish don,t have to feed as much as they are not using energy fighting a current..Love your lures by the way...

    Boy I could tell you some ice fishing stories !

    • @FordFracture
      @FordFracture 5 років тому +3

      This one is my favorite one ! its was a cold ass morning-3 at 3 in the morning in the winter of 1980 and I was dragging my ice shanty out on a 300 acre lake and the summer before I boated out some pallet teepees with cinder blocks In Hope's of having a stellar ice fishing season so I mapped it all out so I could set up the following winter . So I got all my gear set up and started cutting my first hole and all of a sudden I hear this sound ? It wasn't anything I've ever heard before . Now mind you I'm on 300 acres of ice in the middle of nowhere and I'm hearing whales singing ! YEP WHALES ! And in the distance I can see a guy jumping up and down and waving his arms ? So by now the whale sounds have changed to a fast moving train ! The ice was wind whipped and it was like glass and I can see the moon reflecting off of it and I can see the huge bulge moving towards me . The guy on the other side cut a hole over a spring and it sucked in a bunch of air and being on the high side of the lake with a fresh cut hole all that air was raging towards me ! It shot water 15 feet in the air I immediately started running for shore as fast as I could. All the pressure took out a 10 foot circle of ice and all my gear and shanty and a unopened bottle of jack Daniel's ( for medicinal purposes wink wink ) down to Davy Jones locker ! That was the end of my ice fishing adventures and still to this day I get a cold chill every time I hear whales singing on tv .
