By any chance have you installed solar on your trailer? If so, what did you end up going with. We purchased a 2019 Apex Nano and we been considering adding solar, but wanted to ask around owners with similar trailers. Great video and thanks for sharing Sir.
That ugly curtain by the sink can't be of flammable material as it's near the stove. That is usually the standard curtain in all trailers when the window is near the stove.
I had to run a dedicated power line for my awning on my Apex Nano. The wire run from the power distribution panel was way too long (and too small of a gauge) for that high of a current motor (large voltage drop). They also had several other items on the same line. When I checked the voltage on the awning when it was retracting it would drop to below eight (8) volts. I talked to River Forest and they were unhelpful, they were also aware that they are installing it against the awning manufacturer’s (Dometic’s) wiring requirements.
Unlike grumpy Morgan down there, I thought this was very informative especially for only having two videos up. Keep up the uploads. One question I have is with the lack of ladders, how do you intend to clean the top of the slide when out on site?
If needed could not get the Murphy bed option and just throw a actual queen size mattress on top of it and leave sofa laying down? My idea would be like weekend trips sleep on the lil fold mattress but long haul throw a real queen on it.
Thank you for sharing your video! I just put a deposit down on an almost identical model. The differences I noticed is ours has a wider front window and black window shades. I worry about the wider window as its a higher chance for a rock on the highway cracking the window. I have read its a concern for any trailer with a front window.
Ya they changed it half way through the year or something. I don't mind the smaller one for that reason and also I don't want it too bright if I'm sleeping.
Me and my wife live in GA. We went RV Trailer shopping today. Of all the Trailers we looked at this one and a “Gulf Stream Friendship “ are the ones we are most interested in. However at one dealership they have 2 Gulfstream Friendship Trailers the other dealer that sells Coachman Apex are out. They showed us the ones on the lot that are new but sold. They won’t have any more until August or September. For 1 salesman he has sold over 200 that people have put a deposit down on a Trailer that is waiting to be built. People are buying these RV’s like the End of time. The demand is unbelievable. Thanks for a great presentation bud. Mark.
Thank you!!!! We just ordered our Nanos. Difference is we choose different plan with huge bathroom. BUT!!!! Didn't realize there isn't an oven!!!!! I can't believe I didn't notice.. I've had trailers for 30yrs.. ugh

Ok the big question (if you want to answer it) How much did this trailer all in, cost? Including tax. I've been looking for months on which one to buy. Your's is the perfect trailer. I have friends that will join me and we will be boondocking occasionally, so you have the perfect trailer. Thank You.
They did skimp but they're pretty decently made overall. I found that if you wanted a better quality product, you'll have to pay 30-40% more for something like a Lance.
You're right, the only reason it's slow is because you're not connected to shore power plus you have a lot of draw on those batteries already with your lights. Connected to 110V and it's the same as any other RV. Just saying.... Nice RV, congrats!

That is the perfect size I need. I got an f150 fx4 5.0 and a 2500 diesel that can pull that.

looking at same camper what sway / weight distribution hitch did u choose?
Its a husky, rated up to 9500lbs I believe.

We purchased a tension rod and curtains on Amazon. Easily added with no drilling required.

Are you sure the oven is not a dual microwave and convection oven?
If no direct sunlight due to tree canopy , do you think I could run the fridge and battery for 3 nights ?

The new ones come with upper and lower bunk windows.
They skimped out on a lot of things in exchange for cheap price. I had bad quality experience with Forest River products. Hope yours is better.
This is a coachmen product. I don't know if they are associated with Forest River, but I don't think they are.
Not overly cheap lol but its not the best quality you can buy for sure. Its more of a weight thing I thing and I like that trade off.
