Thanks so much for this video tour! We just ordered the identical trailer. Your video helped us with our decision making so much! No nearby dealers had this model or anything similar available to see in person so we found your video extra helpful. Thanks again!!
I've seen pictures of these but havent walked in to one. This looks like the perfect camper for our needs. Thank you for sharing the details w/ pros and cons
We just bought our 2021 Apex Nano in May. Love it. Tows well with our Tahoe. No it's not electric. Anxious to hear more about your towing experience with the Tesla. Just for info. I discovered I wasn't putting enough tension on my anti-sway bar or on my weight distribution hitch. When I corrected those errors sway was eliminated. Great review. 27 nights and 3000 miles in 5 months and we didn't know there was storage beside the outside gas grill. I'll check that out tomorrow. Thanks.
That's Great! We were excited about all the extra storage. With our other trailer it took some dialing in of the hitch setup to reduce sway so glad you figured that out. We have owned it since March and have put roughly the same amount of miles on ours and have enjoyed it. Thanks for following along.
The heat option in the ac is most likely so you can add a heat strip to it. I added it in a lazy daze m27 and loved that it could warm the RV up without using the noisy propane furnace on a chilly night. Plus, it was always a pain to fill the propane. It's a nice option if you have a solar setup or if you're plugged in.
Thanks for this video. Just picked ours up today for our growing family. Have 2 daughters 3 and 2 and another baby due in December. This definitely helped us make our decision. Towing it with a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder for now. Love that you’re doing it with a Tesla, though!
We will definitely look into that if we find we're getting in there a lot! So far we have only been accessing it from the outside so it hasn't been a big deal. Thank you for the suggestion!
@@AllElectricFamily Just seen the AC Nelson sticker! You from the Big O? I have family in the 144/maple area, and I'm up here in Norfolk. Small world!!
Great video. I bought a used 2019 almost the same but is 18ft. The previous owner had already made some modifications taking out the dinette and replacing it with a futon and changing the bunkhouse to be a single bunk on the bottom and the rest of the area was used for storage as it was a single woman who traveled alone. I'm planning on pulling mine with my 2016 frontier four-wheel drive. I have yet to take it out but I'm looking forward to adventures.
Commenting for algorithm. And also because this was an informative & fun video to watch. Good job on editing, it was clear, good camera work, great host/speaker covering all the features, & thanks for putting weight/GVWR. Highlight it can be towed with most SUVs.
All Electric Family I would love to see an organization/camp set up video! I’ve been on UA-cam most of the day and your video is the only one showing the 2021 model! The others don’t have the kitchen pantry or bathroom wardrobe from what I can tell.
Coming soon! -- We switched campers this year, but I do want to do a video on organization. It's hard to get it nailed down, but once you do it makes camping much more enjoyable!
Thanks for your video. We bought the exact same camper after watching the tour. The wifi thing is pretty useful for us. It can connect to 4G network ($50 for 10G), also can be a wifi signal booster when you're at campground with free wifi.
Thanks for this review! I stumbled upon this and it really turned us on to this product line. We are seriously considering the 208BHS. Subbed and liked your videos.
@@bassbob7180 We own the 193BHS (208BHS was new the year after we bought). IF we would have known hands down we would have bought the 208BHS bc of the bigger bunks and the queen bed turned so it's easier to get into. The bathroom is also better situated in the 208BHS vs our's.(smaller sink(208) but our toilet stinks how it is). I do question IF the bunk heights is less in the 208 vs our's.
Only thing I would want is a swing out tv on the queen bed, and two individual tv’s in the bunks. And a real oven with three burners. Micro wave above with oven vent. Wi Fi.
Those would be good additions especially if it is a rainy camping trip. We currently use tablets mostly but also just weekenders. Thanks for the comment.
Great video, better than the professional RV sales. Thanks for showing stuff in the cabinets, and how to open all the compartments. Seriously, that's very usedul for us.
Awesome video! My wife and i just traded in our 28ft for one of these 194 nanos because of your walk-through. Where did you find your trash can for your trailer? My wife likes the stainless steel look and doesn't want our plastic one anymore..
I love your video, best out there for this model. This is the one we’re considering and I have what may be kind of a dumb question but how do your kids get in and out of the bunks? I ask because the overhead height in each looks a bit tight. Has that been an issue? You also mentioned getting in them yourself. How do you prefer to get in and out as an adult?
Our kiddos are monkeys and just climb right in. We considered getting a ladder, but they haven't had an issue getting in & out, so we decided not to. It's easiest to climb in head first, but I prefer to have my head where the opening is....so I do have enough space to crawl in and turn myself around. It's tight, and I'm small (5'3") but it is doable!
@@AllElectricFamily We bought a nice folding chair that can double as a step ladder for the bunks if needed. We primarily use our bunks for additional storage though since we are empty nesters now.
Love the video, as we are long time RVers and also new Tesla Model 3 owners. I never thought of Teslas for towing...but this is exciting! It has me thinking, maybe we in the future we can replace our heavy duty truck with a Model X and get a smaller camper.
Welcome, we love our electric vehicle. We hope to try out some of the truck coming out so we don’t have to get a smaller trailer for our family of five. It is fun to figure out but it is some extra work from a gas/diesel vehicle.
Thanks for the sub! It's a great little rig. I was on your channel earlier today! Can't wait to get back and explore it now that I have some down time tonight. See ya in the course! 🙂
Thanks for the informative video. I love this trailer, just wish it had double sized bunks as my kids are older. I wonder if the 208 bhs would be too heavy to tow.
You can see what it looks like with the slide in at the 11:55 mark. We left out the price since we purchased this camper in 2020 right as everything was closing down. The price increased after we purchased it due to all of the supply shortages and such. Thanks for watching!
waaaay better to just use a space heater.... word on the street is that the optional heating element is not very efficient and its loud... we have a 2020 193BHS
Very cool! The pass through storage door seems small but once you lifted the bed, wow the storage is actually huge! Quick question... the quick connect that you mentioned (via text on the screen) while still outside.. where is it located?
Yes, the pass through door is a bit smaller than I like, but the storage itself is huge. It's a very usable space! The quick connect is directly below the outlets! Let us know if there are any other questions you need answered! We're happy to help. Thanks for watching!
Forgot one more question! When you have time, can you measure the headroom in each bunk (aka height from mattress to ceiling)? Curious how comfy it is for kids to sit up in, if at all. Thanks :)
This rig is awesome... I am taking a hard look at this because although I will eventually get a RAM 2500, my '06 Tundra could tow this safely and it seems to have what we'd want for a family of 4
I'm now towing a forest river 26brb and it's fine... I did upgrade to a mishimoto aluminum radiator, remote oil cooler, and doubled the trans cooler... I wasn't having problems but I also was afraid of leaning to hard on it. Now, with the 1000 dollar worth of upgrades I can make it work hard without worry. Now I can pull hard up hills, keep speed more consistent... General use it never gets a water temp above 205... Giving it hell on decent inclines I can keep 65 and never see above 215-220 even on the hottest days. Trans still doesn't see above 200... Sure gas milage sucks running wide open sometimes, but now I have zero worries about my temps.
It does a great job! It’s one of the best tow vehicles we have ever had performance wise. Now, range wise is a bit different! 😂 Be sure to check out our other videos!
Great video. This made me remember how much I miss camping. I was going to go with an Apex because they are one of the healthiest rigs you can get where as a lot of others use formaldehyde in the construction, Apex does not. Also supposed to be pretty sound proof too, any word on that?
I dont have anything to compare it to since the Apex Nano is our first travel trailer but my wife and I like our quiet. Have spent 27 nights in ours since May in 7 different campgrounds and not been bothered at all by outside noise.
Love your video! And the storage on this trailer has made it a clear front runner for us. Just curious how many kids you have. Were the 3 in the video yours? If so, what’s your sleeping arrangement if you don’t mind me asking. We have 3 kids too and so one will have to sleep on the dinette. Just wondering how doable that is. Thanks!
The 3 in the video are ours! One spot on the dinette. It wasn't too difficult to do...if the weather was nice and we were eating outside all the time we would leave the dinette as a bed all the time to make it a little easier. But, if we needed the table it wasn't a big deal!
Thanks for watching! It's a great little rig. We downsized because with the season of life we're in we aren't able to travel very far. Since we can't go very far or for long trips, the bigger camper didn't make sense. We thought towing a smaller rig with an electric vehicle would be more fun for short trips! Only the bottom bunk has a window. So far it hasn't gotten to stuffy in that top bunk...and we put our kiddo who wakes up with the sun in that top bunk so we can all sleep a little longer! Happy camping!
@@AllElectricFamily that makes total sense. We are dreamers of heading out west someday, but the reality is we are weekenders at the lake, which isn't too shabby. 😄 Thanks for sharing!
@@AllElectricFamily I'm not sure what size SUV you have but IF we could do it all over again we would NOT tow with an SUV, it was hard on our SUV (we now have a truck 3 years later)
Very informative we are looking for similar, highly impressed with this unit. Do you happen to know the distance from the bottom mattress to the second bunk? Also do yku know if top bunk can be removed easily?
Thank you for watching! The top bunk is 20.5 inches and the bottom bunk is 21.5 inches. I don't think it would be too difficult to remove the top bunk, but we haven't investigated too much!
Thanks for the video! We are about to buy one of these. I was wondering if you had any information on the storage solutions you found (specifically the trash can but I'm also curious about the ones in your pantry). Thanks!
Very exciting!! There is a link to the slim trash can in the description! I haven’t found anything new for the pantry yet...but I haven’t given up hope! Keep checking back to see what I come up with!
It is a KYD koozie, good eye! We’ve been Insiders for probably close to 3 years now! Thanks for checking out our tour. It seems like it’s going to be a great little camper!
@@ThePilotML We own the 193 for 3 years now. 194 and 208 weren't out there when we were shopping. We like it but would really like the queen bed turned to get into easier....BUT I did come up with a solution to that for our's :-) Our 2 kids only camping with us once this past summer so the bunks have been mostly used as storage :-( We love at Apex, very good camper!!!
I have a model x and we were looking for a travel trailer with a bunk house. Thanks for the tour. You mention a sway bar, I thought the X had some kind of electronic sway control when towing. Is this just precautionary or do you feel you need it
That's great and have fun with it. I believe they come with a different front now which looks pretty nice. The trash can was a good find it works and fits great, here is that trash can link: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
We are looking at the 208bhs because the dual axles. It's a trade off with the additional weight, but the trailer still comes in at 4,000lbs and double the cargo capacity of the single axle. Have you ever experienced a tire failure with a single axle?
on our previous camper (single axle) we had a flat tire. Thankfully we were still in town picking up a 'friend' and I happened to crave a McDonalds treat and happened to look over at the tire area. Brand new tires even :-( It would have been real bad IF we drove on it much farther!
How’s towing with the Tesla? Ive seen videos where projected distance is greatly compromised, when towing with an EV. I would probably just stick with my F150 ecoboost for towing..
You do loose about half of your range when towing a camper with an EV. But we've been towing campers with EVs for two and half years now and it's been working for us. We had an incident we will be documenting in an upcoming video where we were unable to get a charge, but it could have been avoided if we had planned better. It's one of those things, it will work if you want it to. If you don't want to put in a little bit of planning, it won't. So, it won't be for everyone, but it is possible.
Love the videos, We get Delivery of our new X in June and are going to look at this trailer today! How do you find the tongue weight when loaded up, so you tend to load the weight in rear\middle? in another video you said "fully loaded" is around 4800 pounds (is that with water-tank full or just the max load the trailer was rated for?) Are you still feeling confident with the X (other than range) towing the 194bhs? We are a family of 4 and plan to use the X to tow until our cybertruck arrives. Most sites we will be at do NOT have hookups so filling the tank closer to arrival and dumping tanks may be the solution. Are there any other trailers in hindsight you would check out in a bunk style? I saw the airstream 20+% efficiency increase crazy!
You have to go to a scale to find true tongue weight. It is a good idea to load closer to the axle of the trailer but not always applicable. 4800 is what the camper could handle with the axle they have. We are still very confident with the X and towing. It’s a pretty easy experience if the hitch is setup correctly. We can’t wait for an electric truck and will be doing some videos on what those trucks could tow. When you get into double axle trailers you have a lot more options of floor plans. For the trailer of that size we still feel the 194bhs is best floor plan. Airstream was to small for that but once the trucks come out then you can get some good floor plans for a family.
Very well done trailer tour video! At 9:04 when showing the pantry, the top two shelves each have a nice bright motion sense light. Did the motion sensing lights come with the trailer or did you add them. What brand/ model lights are they?
Does she come with it? :) I didn't know about the apex till speaking with a friend. Was previously looking at a-frame trailers but finding lots of low(er) cost options.
Nice review. I'm about to get this model. Was curious how your Tesla is handling towing? What's your range when towing? I'm eventually getting the cyber truck and I'm curious how well electric vehicles can tow.
Thank you! It kills consumption, but other than that it is great at towing. But, we think the aerodynamics of the trailer have a lot to do with how much it eats your range. We are testing an Airstream in Sep. to see if that is true!
We are looking at this same unit and so far we are thinking this is the one. I can’t find anywhere online what brand A/C unit it has and if it has a built in thermostat that cycles the compressor AND the fan off when the set temperature is reached. Could you help answer that question? Btw... your review was outstanding and is what made up our minds to look further at this model! Thank you!
It is a Dometic A/C unit. It cycles the compressor, but not the fan. 🙁 I wish it did turn the fan off! And thank you so much for the kind words!! We know how much reviews have helped us when purchasing campers, so we just hoped it would help others! Happy camping!
All Electric Family thanks for the fast reply.... is the fan really loud or is it something that you kinda tune out? We are doing the same thing y’all did. We sold out 31’ TT with ducted A/C and are downsizing. My wife is worried that the noise will be loud and it would be hard to talk or watch tv with it going. I know the answer is a matter of opinion but I’m curious on what yours is having gone thru a similar situation that we are going thru as far as downsizing. Thanks!
Chris Miller no problem! It’s loud and we can tune it out....but there are times when it seems like it’s hard to hear over it. I do wish the A/C was better, but it wouldn’t be a deal break.
Hi, we just picked up the same rig yet to take it out, but we downsized and loved it for the same reasons you mentioned. I’m also glad the 194 bhs has a proper tour in you tube now, so good job. I have a question and was hoping you could let me know if your rv is the same. 1) The front window over the bed has a black insert how tight is that insert to the glass? I can get my fingers in between and can actually see insulation sticking out. I’m not to impressed with that and looking at adding something to get rid of the gap. 2) When the slide is all the way out from the inside does the frame around the slide hit the rubber bumper or is there a gap? On ours there is like 2 inches of space. I know it is still weather proof with the rubber flaps but I would have thought it would go tight. I’m just wanting to know if these 2 things are normal production or if we should take it back to have them look at it. Thanks and great video.
It looks like the two things you described are normal. I can also get my fingers between the glass and the insert. And we also have about two inches between the slide and the side of the camper. Thank you for watching! We are glad you enjoyed the tour. Let us know if we can help in any other way!
Trail Less Traveled well that makes me feel better haha thank you! Love you are pulling it with a Tesla, mind blown, you guys are the pioneers of electric towing!
We have the 193 and we had major issues with our weather stripping but our's was because when they manufactured our camper they installed the stripping too close and every time the slide went in or out it chewed it up on the outside. In the end when our camper was in for warranty work they totally replaced with a new version of it and all is good now. Friends of our's have the 208 and their not fans of the window in front. They've had it dripping from condensation on them when they try to sleep and nothing they did resolved it.
We paid around $17k, but we purchased before the pandemic. The day we signed on this camper they were just starting to take precautions at the dealer for COVID and there was talk that production and parts could start being delayed. So, I am guessing the cost for this unit has gone up. 😕
We got ours at AC Nelson in Omaha. We purchased it right when all the COVID junk was starting. They told us inventory had pretty much halted, so we snagged it up!!
Trail Less Traveled that’s where I’ll be looking too. Hopefully they come down in price by winter haha. I’ll be buying after the new year starts, hopefully get a deal!
Awesome! Looking for an upgrade, one with bunk house, under 25’ and under 5000 pounds this covers all! Very petty but is there a spot for a t.v inside? And what’s price?
Excuse me, but why SUV towable RVs are smaller than pickup towables? Even halfton pickups... I mean there are SUVs that are rates higher tow capacity, but still pickups are preferred... strange...
Great video, I’ve been following you guys closely trying to decide what to get for my Model X. Did you guys consider the Keystone Passport 239ML at all? Or with 4200 dry weight is that just too close for comfort when you add up family weight in car plus stuff packed up?
Thank you! ! 🙌 We're so glad you've found our channel! We didn't look very closely at that particular model, but our rule of thumb was to look at single axle trailers. We just wanted to be sure we stayed below that 5,000lbs when we were all loaded up and one axle was a good indicator that we would remain below 5k. We've been in a situation where our trailer was too big for our vehicle and it wasn't fun...so we were pretty cautious! With what we've learned so far from towing with the Model X, we'd say three things: (1) Look for something with a single axle. (2) Look for something that sits as low to the ground as possible (3) Find as aerodynamic of a trailer as you can! Hopefully this helps. Let us know if you have any more questions, we're happy to help!
@@AllElectricFamily any regrets at this point going with the single axle? I’ve seen smaller rigs with dual axle and while it’s a considerable weight savings I’m wondering what’s being sacrificed with respect to ride stability, etc.
It’s from Amazon! It’s a bit pricey, but none of the other trash cans I could find had a lid to keep the sheets out of the trash! Here it is: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
We just bought the same rig and are over the moon excited! Quick question, does the top bunk get hot? I noticed there is no window on the top bunk and I figured it might get stuffy up there. Any thoughts on this?
We haven’t used it when it’s super hot yet, so we’re not 100% sure. I do have a portable fan with us though, just in the event our daughter complains she’s hot!
I just purchased the 194bhs with "off the grid" package. My daughter has used the top bunk and has complained both nights we have camped ( in our driveway, test) about being cold. We live in Nashville, TN and our day time Temps in July have been 98 degrees with an index of 107 degrees. Night Temps have been in the 70's. The way the air conditioning is set up, the vent blows straight back.
Jeremy Stokes We partially close the vent so it’s blowing down and our daughter hasn’t complained. Some nights when it’s cooler outside we close that side completely.
Hi. Thank you for the Beautiful video. I am looking at the same trailer but have been worried about being able to pull this with my vehicle. I have a 2017 Hyundai santa fe which can tow 5000lbs max. I'm interested in your experience towing with the Tesla?
Unfortunately with all this Covid stuff going on we haven’t had the chance to tow it a lot yet. We’ve taken it about 100 miles total and it’s been good so far. We hope to get some more miles under our belt soon and we will be sharing that experience! We are going to add anti-sway bars as well! Hopefully we will have more to share about towing it soon!
Hi bykerboi25. We recently purchased a 2011 Jayco X213. We have a Honda Ridgeline also able only to pull 5000lbs. We took it across Canada last month without any worries! It's 24' and has a king size bed pop out in the back.
Be sure you get a weight distribution hitch. It can transfer a considerable amount of tongue weight off the rear of your vehicle. Combined with an anti sway bar gretly improves handling and reduces sway.
We aren't with the camper right now, so I'm not 100% sure...but it's not very tall. Our 5 year old can't sit up straight. I can get the measurement for you in a couple of days when we're back with the camper.
I appreciated this review because it shows a small camper and how a family uses it. We are looking to get one next year to tow with our pilot.

James Weingarten we didn’t but I’d definitely go with the 208BHS for the reasoned you mentioned.
Thank you! We use tour videos a lot when picking an RV, so we wanted to help others out!
Heat pump, compressor runs backward to create heat .
We have learned that since posting this video! Thank you for the feedback!
Have a deposit down on this unit and hope to purchase it tomorrow! Wish us luck! ~ The Taylor Family.
Hello Taylor Family! You’ll have fun it’s a great family rig.
Very nice.
I think it's time for you guys to buy a sprinter van, I build out a custom vans here in Omaha.
You building us a custom all electric one? We might be up to talking about that. 🙂
Wow looks great 👍🏽
Thank you! 🤗
Awesome video!
My wife and i just traded in our 28ft for one of these 194 nanos because of your walk-through.
Where did you find your trash can for your trailer? My wife likes the stainless steel look and doesn't want our plastic one anymore..
Very cool! We got ours off of Amazon here's an affiliate link: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
@@AllElectricFamily awesom thank you for the link!
Would u be able to tell us your experience towing it over the year with the Tesla model x and or rivian thanku
Just wondering what a somewhat large family does to store all their cloths. Thanks
In this rig there is more storage then one thinks. We utilize tots and bins so it’s easy to haul in and out of the house.
Good walk thru of your trailer. Lots of good stuff. Thanks. Liked and subscribed.
Thanks for the sub! It's a great little rig. I was on your channel earlier today! Can't wait to get back and explore it now that I have some down time tonight. See ya in the course! 🙂
Very nice trailer !!! Can I pull it with a minivan? I have Toyota Sienna, AWD, 2019, 3.5 engine ????
Thanks for the informative video. I love this trailer, just wish it had double sized bunks as my kids are older. I wonder if the 208 bhs would be too heavy to tow.
I believe the 208 is to heavy for the X. I would say the bunks are ok for a couple nights but not long term.
Love this video! Might have just sold me!!
We love ours. Let us know if you get one and what you like about it. Thanks
Just asked for quote.
Forgot about the price and how to slide. How is it looks like when when is slide
You can see what it looks like with the slide in at the 11:55 mark. We left out the price since we purchased this camper in 2020 right as everything was closing down. The price increased after we purchased it due to all of the supply shortages and such. Thanks for watching!
The heat option is usually for a heat strip that you can add (or it may already have it).
Yay! Now we at least know where to start to see if we have it or need/want to get it. Thank you!
waaaay better to just use a space heater.... word on the street is that the optional heating element is not very efficient and its loud... we have a 2020 193BHS
Thank you for letting us know!
@@AllElectricFamily Also awesome idea with the extra storage next to the outdoor stove!
Forgot one more question! When you have time, can you measure the headroom in each bunk (aka height from mattress to ceiling)? Curious how comfy it is for kids to sit up in, if at all. Thanks :)
Yes! I will do that for you tomorrow! It is pretty tight.
@@AllElectricFamily Thanks :)
just need to know how much. great unit
We paid around 17k but usually you can find the current price on rvtrader.com pretty easy. Thanks
This rig is awesome... I am taking a hard look at this because although I will eventually get a RAM 2500, my '06 Tundra could tow this safely and it seems to have what we'd want for a family of 4
It’s awesome for a family of 4! We had a 37’ rig and even with that big of a downsize we don’t feel like we’re missing anything!
I too have an 06 tundra! Almost half a million miles on it! I tow a kz escape 191bh. Very similar unit to this. Do you still have your tundra?
@@BigDawgTheGreat right on man!! Some excellent upgrades for sure! Gen 1 for life! 😊
Love to see how well a Tesla tows
It does a great job! It’s one of the best tow vehicles we have ever had performance wise. Now, range wise is a bit different! 😂 Be sure to check out our other videos!
That rear scissor jack... How safe is that in that position? I'd retract that a bit and get some blocks under it asap.
Good eye. That would be the proper way to secure the trailer it wasn’t be used at that time.
Great video. This made me remember how much I miss camping. I was going to go with an Apex because they are one of the healthiest rigs you can get where as a lot of others use formaldehyde in the construction, Apex does not. Also supposed to be pretty sound proof too, any word on that?
To be honest, I have not paid very close attention to sound! Now I’m curious and will have to check it out next time we are out! Thanks for watching!
Great video and great rig! This is very much what we're looking for. Just curious, what made you downsize? Do both bunks have a window?
😄 Thanks for sharing!
fancishmanci Dreamers are welcome here!! We dream of taking off down the road and never looking back! 😎
This was very helpful! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching! Glad we could help!
We are picking up this model today! Would you mind sharing the details of the trash can that you searched long and hard to find?
Thats exciting! Have fun with it. Here is the Link to trash can: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
Great rig and easy to tow around. Thanks for the tour!
It is going to be very easy after towing 37’ around! It will be like there is nothing back there!
@@AllElectricFamily I'm not sure what size SUV you have but IF we could do it all over again we would NOT tow with an SUV, it was hard on our SUV (we now have a truck 3 years later)
What kind of trash can did you find that fit in the space by the bed? We are looking for one now. Do you have the measurements of the trash can?
@tarastaroszik It’s by Simple Human! I found it on Amazon: amzn.to/3dGWy7O!
Did I spy a KYD koozie in the pantry? Looks like a great rig. Thanks for sharing!
It is a KYD koozie, good eye! We’ve been Insiders for probably close to 3 years now! Thanks for checking out our tour. It seems like it’s going to be a great little camper!
@@AllElectricFamily Awesome! We are insiders also! We are looking at the 193BHS because its just a little lighter and shorter.
It is. We opted for the 194 because of the pantry! That’s what pushed us over the edge!
Hi, I’m a fan. I really think this camper will work for me. The only thing I noticed is that there’s no privacy curtain to the sleeping areas?
No, there aren’t curtains. I think they could be added if you wanted them but we find the space is so small it wouldn’t do much to make a difference.
Nice
I have a model x and we were looking for a travel trailer with a bunk house. Thanks for the tour. You mention a sway bar, I thought the X had some kind of electronic sway control when towing. Is this just precautionary or do you feel you need it
It’s probably not completely necessary, but we are glad we have a sway bar. It just makes it more comfortable.
I have my 2021 on order, can’t wait for it to get here. Do you have a link for the trash can that you found?? I’m sure my wife will be looking! Ty
That's great and have fun with it. I believe they come with a different front now which looks pretty nice. The trash can was a good find it works and fits great, here is that trash can link: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
@@AllElectricFamily thank you! Wife found one and it’s ordered. Any other recommendations for storage items? Tips and tricks maybe?
We are looking at the 208bhs because the dual axles. It's a trade off with the additional weight, but the trailer still comes in at 4,000lbs and double the cargo capacity of the single axle. Have you ever experienced a tire failure with a single axle?
We have not, but I'm sure it would not be pleasant. Next year we may look at upgrading our tires anyway.
on our previous camper (single axle) we had a flat tire.
Hi there! We love your video, one question what is the measurement of your cute rug?
It’s a 4x6! Here is a link: amzn.to/2PYSjhn
Thank you! I did add those lights aftermarket. I’ll get a link when I get back to my computer!
That's just ask any good cabinet maker who he talks to about kitchen design
Does she come with it? :) I didn't know about the apex till speaking with a friend. Was previously looking at a-frame trailers but finding lots of low(er) cost options.
Yeah it’s an awesome trailer so far.
It would've been helpful if you mentioned the price and purchase location. The more details the better!!
thank you really liked the video.
You’re welcome!
Pioneer or idiots! We will find out which ones! 😂 Glad we could put your mind to rest on your rig! Happy camping, friends!
Great video!!!!
How much you pay?
Thanks in advance
We paid around $17k, but we purchased before the pandemic. The day we signed on this camper they were just starting to take precautions at the dealer for COVID and there was talk that production and parts could start being delayed. So, I am guessing the cost for this unit has gone up. 😕
This was such a great review.
And GBR!!
Thank you! We know we watch so many videos when we are looking, we just want to help other people out! And GBR!
Trail Less Traveled did you get it somewhere in Nebraska? Seems to be quite a shortage in campers this year especially the 194BHS. I wonder why 🤣
Yes on the TV it is right by the door above the tv. Not sure on prices now since they are skyrocketing.
Thanks
Excuse me, but why SUV towable RVs are smaller than pickup towables? Even halfton pickups... I mean there are SUVs that are rates higher tow capacity, but still pickups are preferred... strange...
Yes, that is true. People should look at the capabilities of their car over anything.
What are you calling the storage in the bathroom? War? Ward?
On the floor plan it’s called a ward. 🙂
Weird. I own a fifth wheel and have never heard that.
I’m sure it was abbreviated for ‘wardrobe’.
Great video. Well explained and the girl is very good looking. I watched more of her than the trailer.
🙈🙉🙊 Thanks for watching!
Did you have the option for a murphy bed like the 25 ft one?
We didn't but that would have been a good option.
love review
Thanks you!
Any chance you can post where you got that trash can?
It’s from Amazon! It’s a bit pricey, but none of the other trash cans I could find had a lid to keep the sheets out of the trash! Here it is: amzn.to/3dGWy7O
We just bought the same rig and are over the moon excited! Quick question, does the top bunk get hot? I noticed there is no window on the top bunk and I figured it might get stuffy up there. Any thoughts on this?
We haven’t used it when it’s super hot yet, so we’re not 100% sure. I do have a portable fan with us though, just in the event our daughter complains she’s hot!
Sounds good. Thanks for replying!! Happy Camping!!!!
@@kimberlybolduc3008 Absolutely!! Enjoy your new camper!
How many adults can fit on that dinette when turned into a bed?
My hubby and oldest son are well over 6ft
It's a twin size bed when it's turned into a bed.
I'm curious about how loud your AC is? We have a KZ Sportsman 181BHS and the AC seems so loud to me.
Yes it is loud. I don't think it would be any loader then most direct vented AC's though.
How much they go for?
How do you make the bed?
It's a bit of a workout, but you get it figured out! 😅
Just curious what was the reason for moving to a smaller trailer?
So we could tow it with a Tesla Model X. ☺️
Is it legal to park ir in your backyard and live on it?
It depends on the regulations of where you live, you'd have to look up the local laws.
What's the height of the bunks (space)? The width is 30 inches, but they don't say much about height.
We aren't with the camper right now, so I'm not 100% sure...but it's not very tall. Our 5 year old can't sit up straight. I can get the measurement for you in a couple of days when we're back with the camper.
