I wish the RV manufacturers would realize that in small campers, countertop space is more important than a large sink! There is no where to put a coffee maker in that setup. If the sink were half the size you would have a bit of appliance space. I would also like a 12V fridge option.

I use a percolator on the stove. Works fine, and simple if off grid. I'm going to get a bamboo cutting board for half the sink, and a roll up rack for the other side. That might solve your trouble. Also it might be worth looking at plugging coffee maker in in the outdoor kitchen

Love the bendy bed. Re: making each day, use a fitted sheet and leave it on, then two twin comforters rather than a big queen blanket. Easy to fold and put aside. Deal breaker is the absolute lack of
count top. No need for a huge sink when it’s so difficult to make meals without counter space.

Great review! Really like that you keep the window accessible during the day with the Murphy bed put away, but having to make it every day would be a significant trade-off. Not sure which I’d prefer in the end… Agree with you on needing armrests on the jackknife sofa, adding drawers in the kitchen and a 12v fridge. Honestly, the last few items would be deal breakers for me.

Normally, I'd prefer the option of a 12v frig, but not with such limited solar capacity. In fact, although I think Nano's have improved over the last few years, shame on Coachman for labeling these "Off Grid" with no option for more than 100 watts of solar, no Showmiser, and no Invertor.

I read on one of the forest river forums that they did come with showemeisters. My catalog shows it in fact. But people were saying they stopped adding them because they were leaking in the wall and causing issues. I'd love one, but if that's true, I'm ok. The hot water line is short, so I can manage without wasting much

I think all campers should have 12volt and 2 way gas/electric fridge options for no change in price. If gas/electric, option 30lb propane tanks. We boondock on East coast, much shade, afraid 12v fridge option would result in wasted food/dead batteries 😳 Just spent 4 days without water, electric or bathrooms in S. Carolina with 20 gal fresh h2o & a 20 lb propane tank.

I really, really like this one!
    Great points I love:
✅️ FINALLY someone put windows with a campside kitchen. I love the visibility that offers!!!!
✅️ Love the Murphy bed setup and how you don't lose the windshield, it helps contribute to the open space.
✅️ Nice toilet space, they didn't over do it with the sink counter, so it doesn't take over in the bathroom.
✅️ No oven works for us, so this is a positive here. I like the microwave in that spot instead of having an oven I won't use an taking up valuable potential storage space to add a microwave on top of it all.
✅️ Nice flush mounted stove top and sink cover for making the most of limited counter space
✅️ EXCELLENT road mode. That's huge!
✅️ Good bunk weight rating (thank you for pointing that out), good bunk set up with seperate screens and outlets.
    ✅️ Maintained full pass through.
    Points of contention:
    ❌️ I want a 12v fridge option.
❌️ I noticed the stovetop does NOT vent outside. No Bueno!
❌️ Why on Earth would they put the cooker hooker so far away from the outdoor kitchen??!! I get the Coleman uses bottles, but come on, I want options there!!
❌️ Lack of expansion for solar options straight up kinda sucks. I mean it IS their "off grid" edition, you'd think we could have more opportunity to maximize on that option.
    Neutrals:
⚪️ No power jack isn't really a big deal, but it would have been nice.
⚪️ I would have loved to see a bit more coverage on the awning, but looking at the doors I completely understand why they didn't.
⚪️ TV location doesn't bother me, nor does not including a TV. Like you, when we camp, the goal is to be outside. But even the crappy days, we all have our our "personal entertainment devices," making a TV not really necessary.
    Wish list:
❇️ Would really love to see even a tiny window on the campside around the Murphy bed to both maximize campside visibility as well as maximize cross breeze for major sleeping area.
❇️ Would love to see even a sprayer port near the outdoor kitchen area for water access at the cooking location. Definitely not a biggie, but would be nice.

Actually, speaking from experience, that tongue jack is not meant to be on any trailer where weight distribution is used.
I own a 194BHS. It came with the same jack. It lasted for about a dozen uses over three trips.
Quite simply, that jack is made as cheap as possible. This includes the crank gearing, which has an enormous amount of play.

The solar ports on campers are not needed. They are just jumper wires. I have a renogy suitcase. Hook it to the battery posts, and you have a 200 watt setup. The renogy has its own controller, so good to go. May be an option for ya

We have an older 2021 model that had under mount split sinks. It works perfect when you set the coffee maker and toaster on one half. That is one area where the fashion won over the function on this update. The no drawers bothered me at first but now we just use baskets. Its easy to keep organized and re-stock supplies. You can just squeeze a 60in bunk ladder tight against the fridge open end of the bunk accesses and open the bathroom door at night as this is the first year we are using the top bunk for sleeping.
I have a LOVE hate relationship with the murphy bed. LOVE, LOVE how it folds up and its still useable space. I use it as a day bed to read my books on a rainy day. When my kids where infants it was the play pen I lounged on the sofa and my babies where not on the cold floor. They are 2 and 5. I hate the transfer between the hard surface and the sofa, when in bed mode it is more or less the same area where the split in the mattress is. Our solution was a 2in memory foam under the mattress. Fold the bed like normal then tuck the foam topper into the gap between the bed and seat back.
Over-all I love our little trailer it is a very good balance of size, storage and weight. We do tow it with a half-ton and as we live up in Calgary, Alberta Canada on the edge on the mountains, on windy days you wouldn't want to tow with anything less.
One last comment if you are considering purchasing this trailer. Have a look at the Forest River owner's forum web page for the 208 model. It is an excellent source of honest owners reviews and modifications. My husband posts on it from time to time and the 208 has developed quite the cult following.
    Happy Camping Everyone!

So, like an MKX-20 ? Agreed.
The MKX (name changed on newer models) have a tilt-down ramp that's 54" wide, with clearance for 48" wide items/vehicles/etc. And the ramp will close after loading it up with 16' long lumber!
About 4200 pounds dry on tandem axles, they aren't nearly as sexy looking as this Apex unit. But my choice for a "hybrid" (compromise) travel-trailer and enclosed cargo-trailer, without being just an open garage/cave like a typical toy hauler.

Although, you can always purchase the Dutch-Aire conversion kit for the Dometic model fridge you have and do it yourself. For the 6Cu Ft fridge, the kit was around $780 ther last time I looked. Thre compressor fridges are awesome because they're so efficient and cool down in a couple of hours instead of taking 12 to 14 hours like the absorption units.

What I want in a trailer. 5 or maybe 10 kWHr LFE batteries. A roof totally covered in solar panels and a 70Amp DCDC charge controller from the truck/car alternator. Minisplit heat pump, electric pump fridge, solar/heatpump waste heat water heater and induction cooktop and a microwave. Space for my $20 toaster oven and electric griddle. Lots of insulation, 4 season. No propane, no thanks. If it gets too cold I'll use an electric blanket and idle the car for an hour. No dumb window in the front please. Real thermal pane windows. No slides to break, double axels. I'm not interested in crashing because on tire on the trailer had a blow out in a single axel. No roof mounted AC, super loud an right next to your head. How dumb is that? No propane stove in a closet sized room, super bad for your health. Maybe an optional propane inverter generator where the engine heat is used as the furnace to heat the trailer. Yeah, I'm dreaming. I would have to start my own trailer company to get anything this intelligently designed.

The lack of counter space, expandable solar, and no option for 12v fridge hurts this model. I do like how they went with just the cooktop with a microwave under it, as opposed to having the useless tiny oven and sacrificing an overhead cabinet for a microwave. I also like how they used a bendy mattress that uses the sofa as a box spring (would be interesting to hear how comfy that arrangement is.) Not having the outside grill plumbed into the propane line is an....interesting decision. Not sure how I feel about that.

You know if it’s just me then ok but
I really would have thought that by now the linen industry would have come out with a fitted sheet that isn’t so hard to apply to the mattress. My parents have been struggling with theirs since my first camping trip in 1984. I’ve tried to show them how my wife and I work together… shift the mattress and grab the corner to hook the pocket but they insisted you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Every year at the reunion they go to bed early and everyone chuckles 🤭 fitted sheets again but I just wish for a solution to come to market.

I love it! The small kitchen is great (It stinks and adds extra moisture to cook inside) I always wondered why they fill up the living space with large kitchens, the bendy bed is a great feature because it free’s up the living space and the reduced width also opens up the saleability to other countries that don’t allow most current width Rv’s.

I was pleasantly surprised by this trailer. I usually hate Murphy bed models, but the way they did this one is nice. I prefer the no armrests - I want to sleep there, and I’m not lounging in my trailer when I camp, so armrests just get in the way. I love the dual axles at this weight; I often worry about the stability of a trailer I could tow. I also was surprised by how accessible the bathroom is; we are fluffy people and feared the bathroom would be unusable, but that’s not the case. I couldn’t care less about the drawers. I have a drawer unit I take camping with me now. I like the little outdoor kitchen, and the separate propane hookup so I could use a black stone or just anything under the awning when it’s raining. The whole camper feels big and open. I wish it had a ladder and I’d like even more solar, always, but this unit is very appealing, and I saw no deal breakers.

Don’t know if there is a 2023 upgrade in this camper but the sofa is pretty disappointing. I’ve been watching hours of Murphy bed videos lol, and virtually all of them have better side- table areas, and some sort of arm rest as well. As the point of having the sofa option is usability, that’s a big miss.

I'm sold, take my trade on the '21 Geo Pro 19BH and lets make a deal! In all seriousness I love this and if we saw one in person, we probably would seriously consider trading in for this. Seems like the max we could tow with our '21 Ford Ranger (7500lb tow capacity). Tows the 19BH easily so I know there is headroom
    The things I want/like over the 19BH
    -wide bunks
-wife wants a murphy bed setup for bad weather days (Vegas area so either super hot or rain depending)
    -larger bathroom
-slide is welcome for bad/tough weather
-dual exhaust fans in the unit is welcome (but need Maxxair or similar upgrade)
-travel stop friendly is nearly a must with twin 7yo boys
-wife wanted an outside access fridge
    The cons/concerns
-Need a shower miser, how easy of an install?
-Some other reviews mentioned you can feel the transition from the hard bed surface to the soft sofa cushion, need to feel this
-Moon roof, think the last show they had it on demo, I would REGRETT!!!! my purchase if a month or two later they offered that option
-ideally want a 12v fridge since 99% of our camping is with power and water (national parks usually no sewer)
-trailer exhaust fans would need upgrading
-100w solar, would prefer the 190w panel like our 19BH and the side plug to use my 200w solar briefcase but not a total deal breaker
Otherwise, I think this quite hits the nail on the head. Just wondering what the Geo Pro is going for on trade in....

With the different options available on r.v.s I have been sorting out what options I want vs what options I need. And trying to sort out how am I actually going to use the r.v. vs all the what if scenarios. For example it would be great to have 4 mo the of vacation a year but I actually only have 3 weeks, so I don't need to have be living in the r.v. only weekend and occasionally a week long camping trip. I go camping to be out side and not go glamping. Lol. I would prefer a regular mattress but a foldable Murphy bed is still way better then sleeping on the ground in a tent. I would rather have extra water capacity, over a t.v. and electric gizmos. I'm not the kind of person to shun technology, but camping to me is getting a break from technology and remembering the amazing beauty that nature has to offer. So this r.v. is on my comparison list

Your really do need to be careful. LOL You ARE the entertainment, Josh.
    Love love the outdoor kitchen.
I love a lot of things in this RV. A few thing just hit me wrong.
    The windows look huge.
The Murphy bed is weird. I would rather have the arm rests. It would be a hassle to make it every night but I love the openness. I keep thinking that it's wasted space. Why not make the couch a futon and have more space during the day. At night , just pull out the futon. You would still have to make it. But, you would have more space during the day, with the couch back further.
Having the front window during the day would be wonderful.
I look at RV's from a living in one full time vantage.
Where are the drawers? Silverware? I can't believe there are none.
I would rather have a smaller sink and more counter space.
Yes, to a 12 frig option.
    The pantry is wonderful.
    The bunks need phone plugs.
I wish the toilet was set back further. No step up to the shower.
I like the colors. The light walls, the blue seats and curtains are wonderful.
I like the fact that you can close it and still you it.
WOW, for a RV I really liked there were some strange things I didn't like.
