2020 Apex Nano 185BH. Really like it but wish the dinette was a little bigger. We can't wait for Spring again in KS! Great video and presentation. Looking forward to following the channel.
Yeah it’s possible. There are no obstructions behind the wall that would prevent it. I haven’t done ours yet, but the Apex customer support provided me with instructions and part numbers, and your dealership can do it no problem.
I stand corrected. I decided to pull the trigger on the upgrade, and our dealership informed us that they wouldn't recommend it, for a couple reasons. For one, there's is a small vent-related obstruction that would prevent them from being able to align it perfectly with the bottom window, so it would be offset by a couple inches. Furthermore, the bottom window's framing has some extensions that tie in with the floor-line, but to do that on the top window would require a lot of work. Although they could optionally do it without tying in anywhere, they don't trust the weaker bonded material to stand up to the rigors of travel & gravity under the weight of that window. So I'm checking with the Apex service to see what they recommend.
Great review! Could you pls tell a bit more about 2x6V vs 12V battery and the generator you are using - is it capable of running your A/C? Do you store it in the truck? Thanks
I’m curious to know if you ever upgraded to the MORryde suspension shackles and wet bolts? We got our 208Bhs this past Labor Day and I been thinking of upgrading for a smoother ride and get ride of the original parts it came with. Thank you Sir!
Also you mentioned traveling in the winter - how was it? Did you have to install cover for water lines? Did you have enough heat from the gas furnace or had to additionally use electric heaters?
Sorry, but at just under 3 minutes in I couldn’t take it any longer because you mentioned four times that you’ve had it for 6 months, rented it & the number of times you used it. Enough! Keep it brief & get to the point.
Does the fridge on your unit run on gas if desired also? The new 2024 and all 2023s I've seen locally are 12v only unfortunately which isn't ideal for boondocking
Great video! Are you sure this is a 2021 model? Yours is very similar to mine which is a 2021 but there are some differences. I just picked mine up yesterday. Biggest diff are the window in the kitchen area. Yours is much smaller. Also front window is way smaller than mine. Also, ours has a slide curtain for front bed that you are missing. Might want to go back and get them to give you the correct year model. Lol. Jk Thanks for the video btw!.
Thanks for the information. What is your tow vehicle? This Apex is small-ish for a 2-axle 25-footer, but it's listed hitch weight is near the top of my capacity (when fully loaded). Did you notice any towing concerns? Thanks!
Great review! We have an early 2019 model from just before they started including the pull-out BBQ, so ours is just a drawer instead. I sort of wish we had some of the newer upgrades features of yours, like under-mount sink and stove. But it’s been a great model, and now going into our 3rd season we still have not encountered any problems. Could you tell me what model of mattress you bought? The stock mattress is murder on my back, and I’ve suffered with it long enough. 🙂
Spare tire on the back bumper is okay? We have an Apex 21RBK and they put the spare under the tongue. I would like to put it on the back bumper, but they say that's a no-no for weight and the strength of the bumper. Did you beef up the bumper?
What are you rocking on your adventures? 😀

What mattress did you upgrade too??
Fantastic Review. Please consider doing this again @ the one year mark. Very informative.
Nice review. We just bought one. One of the first thing we'll do is add a window for the top bunk.
Have you looked into whether this is possible? I was wanting to do this to mine as well.

How easy/difficult is it to get into that top bunk? It doesn't look like there is a lot of vertical clearance to hoist yourself up into the opening.
Thanks for this video! We just got the smaller version of this and I was having a couple issues and was looking for info. Very helpful!

Hi nice looking trailer , we just picked up ours but I’m having issues with no hot water, can you help out . Thx
Wonder if the dealership would go those extra miles if you didn’t mention to them you have UA-cam channel.
100%

Plugging in my coffee pot on the sink counter is a deal breaker!
Azdel on the outside, interior wall has luan backing.

This is probably early model 2021. Newer 2021 have the bigger window, solid steps.
Great reviews! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks well done video. We are looking at that exact trailer, buy thinking about the Murph bed option. Why did you choose to not go that way?

Nice trailer. What dealership did you use? I wonder if they’re looking after you because of your channel.

Awesome review!! Incase I missed it, what are you towing with? 1500 or 2500?

Thanks for the review brother ! Great video. Question do you think mid SUV could tow it such as 5gen 4Runner 5000 towing capacity ?
What’s the point of those ruffly window valences? Are they supposed to be decorative?
What kind of jack is that on front that has bike rack and what does that add to tongue weight?
Can you tell me about the bike rack you had installed on the front of the trailer?
Looks like a copy of a Lance1995 model trailer.
