PUPCAKES | Peanut Butter Cupcakes for your Dog!!

pupCAKE:
-1 cup whole wheat flour
-1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
-2 eggs
-6 oz. plain yogurt
-1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
-1/3 cup creamy unsalted and unsweetened peanut butter
-1 cup grated apple, peeled & cored
-2 tbsp. honey
pupICING:
-1 cup heavy cream
How To:
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
-In large bowl, beat flour, baking powder, eggs, yogurt and apple sauce.
-Beat in peanut butter, honey and apple.
-Add batter to cupcake liners and bake for 20-25 minutes
-Once cupcakes have cooled, beat heavy cream until peaks form and its light and fluffy
-Pipe icing onto cooler cupcakes and top with dog treat!!

I made those and they ended out great! 💞My dog seemed to love it! He practically inhaled it cause it was so good!😂The frosting didn’t work for me😭 But I think I might have used the wrong cream! That’s okay!👌🏼✌🏼 Thank you so much for teaching me this!☺️

Thanks for the fabulous recipe! I plan to make these this week for my pup's first birthday. Have you ever tried making them a few days in advance and freezing them?
You can freeze them for sure! or store them in the fridge for no longer then a week!! I hope your pup enjoys!!

Mashed banana is a substitute for applesauce :)))

It looks like around 12. Maybe just double or triple the recipe a few times, or make mini pupcakes.
Does the icing melt and get gross quickly like whip cream?

I've straight up used ready wip. I won't recommend giving it to your dogs on a regular basis but as a special treat it's fine.

Technically, yes! But they will taste bland and not good. I would go ahead and just make some vanilla for the humans :)
