Great idea! I'm a beginner player and I'm at the point where I'm all book smarts with not much personality. I need to start becoming more melodic and exploring all that the guitar has to offer. I'm going to go start working on this progression right now. Thanks!

This looks to be fantastically useful, and relatively easy to get my head around. The 'trick' will be in making it all smooth and connected, and to not sound like a scale exercise.

Thanks Eddie, that's also a great way to find the 4th position off the A string. Never occurred to me for some reason. Really enjoy your lessons, brother.

Excellent. Made me smile because I had just taken my Gretsch out of the out-of-sight-out-of-mind case after a few months of ignoring it for those sitting out beside me and was fiddling with this same concept when I came across this. Nice stuff--as always. Simple yet elegant...and fun. Stay Well Groovy One!

Thank you, this is a great lesson. I've always known the concept was to play the notes of the chords over the corresponding chords. But, I'm a very visual learner. And the way you broke it down and explained every little nuance, I became a slightly better player tonight.

My favorite video so far Eddie!😊 about half way through you talk about playing scales linearly and that’s where I’ve been stuck, you then gave a perfect example of how to play it differently. Big breakthrough for me. Thank you Eddie 😃

Eddie, truly, your guitar presentation, suggestions, and lessons are among the finest I've ever encountered. Your articulate, engaged, and humble approach gives me second thoughts about even touching my guitar now ;) Your inspiration is invaluable, and I'm grateful for these transformative tips that will undoubtedly reshape my guitar journey. I've been stuck in a rut for years, going through the same repetitive steps without truly playing. Thank you for opening up new possibilities for me.

Another awesome lesson from the one and only Eddie, you just saved me from another stale little box I was about to get stuck in again. Now I have something new to add to the collection. That’s a double thumbs up from me. 👍👍 Looking forward to hear what comes out with this new box of tricks. Great work.

Could you please do a lesson on harmonies. For example like the harmony leads in Detroit Rock City by Kiss, or the harmony leads in Master of Puppets by Metallica. I'm not saying teach those songs but that kind of harmony leads. And thanks for your time and videos.
