  • We moved into the new house about 4 months ago, and finally my new shed was delivered and built, and I've set about building my new workshop, for knife making and leather work, and general tinkering. It is a small workshop, only 7foot by 8foot, but it gives me the space to do what I need and want to do and make. I cannot wait to start actually making in it!

Always nice having man cave time, one bit of advise I can give,is take your liquids/adhesives/glues/dye inside during winter,as the cold weather will destroy them.
Oh and one more should of went bigger 😉 I have out grown mine already 😃 enjoy buddy 👍

A tad envious to be honest ;o) Looking forward to the 'making stuff' vids of the future. All the best

Love a good workshop build. Are you gonna insulate it or not bother.

I'm thinking i might put kingspan, or something similar in the roof, the workbenches have made it pretty tough to insulate the walls now - and from what i can tell, most of the heat is lost through the roof. I think i'll try it through the winter, see how it gets on, and go from there...

@@LittleTipple I have 100mm insulation in the floor & roof of my workshop & 50mm in the walls & i find i occasionally need the heater on in winter months
