London Coffee Festival 2021

Another trip to The London Coffee Festival at The Truman Brewery, Brick Lane for more amazing coffees, both espresso and pourovers, checking out the coffee machines and wonderful inventions. I spoke with a lot of wonderful people and got to tour the show with Dominic from Wyndhams Bajan Coffee Roasters.

One thing I've only just thought about is, are those coffee pouches recyclable?

So, some are, some aren’t - there are also some that are compostable, but then even they’re split between home compostable and industrially compostable. Then you get the boxes, which are always recyclable, but then have variable bags in the boxes themselves, and then I’ve seen recyclable bags with non-recyclable labels on them… best thing to do is to check the bags on the coffees you love - I think most (if not all) that I spoke to there had recyclable or compostable bags…
