To explain the end; Winthorp and Valentine begin selling OJ contracts for OJ - that they dont have a $1.42 a gallon. Winthorp yells “Sell 30 April $1.42.” Meaning 30 contracts (15,000 gallons per contract) to call in April (this is how futures work) @ $1.42 a gallon, PER EACH PIECE OF LITTLE WHITE PAPER. Once the price crashed they bough OJ to fill those same orders at .29 cents a gallon, for a profit of $1.13 a gallon x 450,000 gallons per each little piece of paper.
Former Sen Al Franken was a comedian. He then took his college work in politics and transferred that into working for the government. He was one of the drivers of the Ape, at the end of this movie. He was the one asking why he could not be allowed to drive when they were loading the Ape onto the train.
