It’s also heartbreaking how many things haven’t changed in Atlanta in regards to poor black citizens (although not many care about poor white people either). Children are the hardest though they have / had a whole life in front of them, I lost my oldest son when he was 24, my granddaughter, his daughter was less than a year and half old. I’ve lost a younger brother, a parent, but no loss has been greater than that of my son.

Camille Bell and her surviving children spent a few weeks sheltering with me and my college roommates in 1983. I remember being shocked to hear her say that she didn't believe Wayne Williams was the murderer of so many innocent young black boys. She seemed to believe it was a racially motivated purge. I didn't know enough of the facts of the case at the time to comment, and my opinion wouldn't have mattered, anyway. We were just trying to help a grieving family. That poem those kids wrote for their friend made me break down . That shit is heart wrenching 💔. There are 2 places that will gain souls from these tragedies. Heaven will gain some more angels, and hell is awaiting some POS soul . And that soul will pay for eternity for everyone of those boys he killed.

Just read an article the other day that said solved cases is down to 51%, where it used to hover around 70%. Kinda scary to think about 49% of murders going unsolved….& the number of cleared cases dwindling.

What we’re learning about extreme personality disorders and narcissistic behaviour patterns. Wayne Williams fits the bill completely. He took the lie detector because he was thought he was smarter than the test when he failed over and over he couldn’t believe it.. After he went to prison.. the child murders Stopped. What they’ve discovered about tendencies of deviant behaviour and psychology is that they get into jobs that bring young people to them… that the serial killer spends a lot of time hunting.. all things that Wayne Williams admitted to in his interview. GUITY

This is so unbelievably heartbreaking. I'm bawling my eyes out. I had never heard of these tragedies. These poor parents. I know how the trauma and devastation tragic events like this impact families. It exists as generational trauma impacting the lives of family members who weren't event alive during the events. This whole story just pains me.
