Yea, the Abrams would fuck a BMP up easily.
But to counter your argument, you forget that the US supports its armor with infantry and air support.
So not only would that battalion of BMPs be fighting Abrams, they'd also be fighting mixed infantry with highly probable amounts of AT weapons along with air support.
Also, a 30mm and a single shot ATGM isn't as great as you think.
It's meant to be used in support or conjunction of armor and infantry, other than that, it's fire the missile, hit and run.
Keep in mind, I love the BMP.
If I had to choose between a Bradley, BMP, or LAV.
      I'd choose the BMP.
Don't ask, I just like it.
But I'm aware of its shortcomings.

Plus I don't understand why people are so hostile to the Soviets when I'm pretty sure being ruled by Nazi Germany is far worse. I'm not sure if you know this, but Hitler was not that kind towards the people of territories he captured and shipped many to Germany for slave labor so Germany wouldn't have to use as many of their own citizens for work. Buen video.
