Jonny tungsten can match the penatrstion of DU. Not to mention as a IFV what they really want is a accurate anti infantry and light vehicle round. Any case 30x173 is the same round the AMV IFV and A10 uses.
its late to the show by about 10-15 years. Germany already has a gun with this capability in service since 2015 on an IFV and since around 2008 on CIWS and CRAM Systems. Look up Puma MK30-2ABM
I had no idea that the Bush Master gun had so many different rounds. The precision was incredibly accurate. I am assuming the gun has a pre- program. Combat effective spread for maximum damage. What if that trench was 300 yards long could that gun deliver the rounds on target for that big of spread or would you 2 or 3 Armor Personal carrier? One last question do tanks have AB Rounds as well? Or not. That was a extremely interesting video.
Gotta watch that video from Tom Scott channel. It's not just about storage, there're also transmission issues because not everyone can afford 100mbps Internet.
THis was demonstrated and filmed at the Big Sandy range near Wikieup, AZ, where they have the Big Sandy Machine Gun shoot every March and October ! And those are open to the public ;-)
rod balos that would be an interesting video but i dont think the military is interested in investing on seeing the effects of that on flesh im more than sure they want to see the effects on garrison cover and personnel armor
well theoreticly germany could deliver Puma IFV or KF-41 Lynx to Ukraine. Puma and Lynx do exactly this and is currently the most modern and powerful IFV around, but Puma it is optimised and tailored for the german army, so nobody else buys it.... Problem is: Puma is quite advanced tech and the Bundeswehr struggles to maintain it properly (this is due to budgetary cuts etc that cut maintenance units and spare part purchases). Ukraine wouldnt be able to maintain them in the field. Lynx is not that much better in that regard. Dont think that the Bushmaster System is service ready by now. The german "AHEAD" system is in german service since around 2008 and on an IFV since 2011 and used on the Milenium Gun Revolver Cannon (27, 30 and 35mm caliber) and the MK30-2ABM.
FPSRussia: "Hello my friends. Today we'll be testing high velocity projectiles, and down range, we have high speed cameras that will capture the action and give us some nice slow motion shots."
+Advocatus Diaboli They are precise yes, but not that precise. No way it would be able to reliably hit an apple sized target from 100 yards. It's a cannon, not a sniper rifle.
+Advocatus Diaboli That data is for ideal conditions. Ballistics test data always present ideal "laboratory" conditions, that VERY often do not match their actual combat stats. Actual spread of a weapon in a changing wind/temperature/humidity environment is very different from those posted by the manufacturer of the armament. Ammo quality is also one thing, slight variations in it will not be noticeable in common general use, however when you aim for that kind of precision (apple at 100yrds) a few grams to the projectile or its propellant can deviate it off intended target. This is all common in actual usage, which is not modeled by the laboratory "sterile" tests. I do believe the manufacturer's provided data, but if you would offer me a million dollars to place an apple on my head and shoot 10 rounds out of this cannon at it, from 100 yards in windy conditions - I'd absolutely refuse it without any smallest doubt. This weapons platform is simply not intended for such precision. Effective range and reliable shot placement is a different thing. An M-4 is effective at 500 meters, however I wouldn't bet my money on that kind of kill happening in actual combat use. Combat proven systems and combat derived performance data is the only data you can reliably trust. Just my 2 cents.

Bradley:
The Bradley does not fire this type of ammunition.
Its not even the same gun from the Bradley
Poland has almost 800 AMV Rosomaks armed with this gun. It use 30x173 cartridges the same like in A-10 warthogs gun
What about the raid on Moscow as it was in 1610? How long will all this shit rust at military bases?
zepter00 nope
What nope?
The Rosomak does not fire DU AP ammo like the A-10. I think it's simple APFSDS and HE.
Jonny tungsten can match the penatrstion of DU. Not to mention as a IFV what they really want is a accurate anti infantry and light vehicle round. Any case 30x173 is the same round the AMV IFV and A10 uses.
Whoo baby, that airburst shell is something else.
That's got to be the most devastating 30 mm round in the world
its late to the show by about 10-15 years.
Germany already has a gun with this capability in service since 2015 on an IFV and since around 2008 on CIWS and CRAM Systems.
Look up Puma MK30-2ABM
imagine being in a firefight and getting shot at by those explosive rounds
That cluster explosion must be deadly!
Its airburst
I had no idea that the Bush Master gun had so many different rounds. The precision was incredibly accurate. I am assuming the gun has a pre- program. Combat effective spread for maximum damage. What if that trench was 300 yards long could that gun deliver the rounds on target for that big of spread or would you 2 or 3 Armor Personal carrier? One last question do tanks have AB Rounds as well? Or not. That was a extremely interesting video.
Don't worry guys. Just stand behind a car door, or if inside, flip the table and stand behind. You'll be safe! It always works.
Lol
I need this for hog hunting in Texas and for home defence.
I need this for my concealed carry.
Send some of these to help Ukraine please somebody, time to end the War of Russian Aggression against them.
They're sending 59 Bradleys & 90 Strykers in Jan 20 $2.5B package

Gotta love UA-cam and their absolutely _lovely_ video compression algorithms.......
@@SgtAwesome97 yeah but that can't really be avoided nowadays because of the massive amount of videos. Data storage isn't cheap
They should hang up a hog to see the effects on flesh. Awesome frag spread.
rod balos With all that white hot spalling it would probably be liquified.
I read hog as hoe and instantly thought of my ex wife. Hog still works. I'm down to volunteer her for testing.
you make it way to obvious why she is ex.
rod balos that would be an interesting video but i dont think the military is interested in investing on seeing the effects of that on flesh im more than sure they want to see the effects on garrison cover and personnel armor
QUAS UMA hahahahahahaha hell nah funny as hell. I also am willing to put my exx in the list of volunteers. Shes rotten meat anyways.
I so need one of these in my collection...
Back in the day, i knew an engineer who refused to work for defense contractors. After seeing this, I can't blame him.
0:59 most beautiful thing I have ever seen
R. Lee Ermey! OORah!
Razster Do you think this is a Fucking game private????
Razster sadly he is gone now 😢
RIP
why are you so far down
The air bending in front of the round is cool
Whoever just posted this on r/Ukraine I agree this would fill orc trenches with sunflower food! Slava Ukraini!
well theoreticly germany could deliver Puma IFV or KF-41 Lynx to Ukraine.
The german "AHEAD" system is in german service since around 2008 and on an IFV since 2011 and used on the Milenium Gun Revolver Cannon (27, 30 and 35mm caliber) and the MK30-2ABM.
yes, this vehicle is good against Ukrainen orcs in the trenches
Shut the hellup already. Slava krusna Slava Slava Slava shut the hell up. Those stupid ass words don't do shit.

Even a good fighting hole is useless now.... f-ing scary.....
Maybe not totally useless, but less significant

Imagine if a country had this during WWI...
Such victory.
Im more concerned about what they have prepared for the ww3 :v
Poland has the bigest fleet of vehicles with Bushmaster II guns
Gunny probably had a rage'r doing this episode.
but can it shoot an apple off my head @ 100 yards
wafflecougar "Mind holding this pack of smokes pal" Ya know to check if my aim is off
+Advocatus Diaboli
They are precise yes, but not that precise. No way it would be able to reliably hit an apple sized target from 100 yards. It's a cannon, not a sniper rifle.
+Advocatus Diaboli
That data is for ideal conditions.
I think it could, but it could also give you a lasting headache.
It'll take out the apple, your head and the top half of your torso.
Terrifying to think the A10 shoots a 30mm round. I was told by an f-18 pilot they can take out entire buildings strafing with 20 mm war shot.
This would be useful tools for restoring peace, freedom and democracy in Ukraine.
I just heard the news that its being deployed as we speak
