James when trying to net the fish use your handle to its full extent, not halfway only as this limits you trying to land the fish cleanly. I have noticed that you have at least 50% of your handle behind you. When trying to unhook the fish cradle the fish between your knees gently it will make it easier to unhook. Good result James. Good ow Topcroft.....I fished late last Fri afternoon, on peg 16 on method feeder started with wafters on and didn't really have much,changed to solid 8mm pellets and then it took off,had nearly 30lb in 2 and a half hours,that peg 18 where you were is a lovely wide peg, I saw that peg 14 fished well again where you won your last match👍 Overall good venue with plenty of heavy chunks....well done James 😉👍
why don't you get yourself a margin pole and give it a go, if my mate turned up sooner i could of doubled my weight, it's all about the feeding, and how you do it, he showed me how to do it properly and you see what happened, after two and a half hrs i had one fish, and when he turned up i got 60lb, Thank you Steve for commenting,

I'm hoping to have a week away at Reepham fishery James,later in the year, as it does accommodation with sauna etc, so will watch with interest, I'm fishing the river over weekend as its the start of the season, and it's always a golden day.. I think thats a fair comment. If its done because of the time it takes then have 2 teams do the weigh in.
