Wondering if you've made any changes or tweaks to these sliders since you posted this. I bought the game a few weeks ago and I'm going nuts trying to make this game somewhat playable.
@@tonyguerrier2258 These Sliders were for NHL 21. And I've been told that they don't really work for NHL 22. But on 22, I haven't dabbled in Goalie Mode at all. So I wouldn't be of much help to you. Sorry 🙂🙃🤪
These settings worked very well for me I was getting so sick of sitting there and making 2-5 saves a game. If one goes in your percentage is cut in half lol Thanks for the help :)
I personally prefer turning CPU penalties up really high, simply because opponent powerplays are an easy way to get 5 or 6 shots against in a short period of time, and there's not nearly enough penalties in short games
great vid but just a quick question, for the goalie slider section, why would you not max out the human sliders for stuff like goalie reaction time? does that break the game or just too OP?
To be honest. I've just never really tried. I found a bunch of different sliders online, and kind of played with a few of them, until I found some sliders that I liked. And then just went with them. Haha. Maybe that's an experiment that I can do, at some point.
tried this on nhl 22 and for some reason once the game starts the puck can’t stay on any of the player’s sticks. it literally bounces off of everyone’s blades and no one can have possession
Yeah, aggression definitely has something to do with it. Also, the difficulty will dictate what type of shot your opponent will take. The higher the difficulty, the more... thought? Goes in to the opponents shots. They will go for more difficult shots to save. That's why the Human reaction time goalie sliders have to be so much higher than the CPU's.
@@dmac26official Oh ok yea I usually play on pro difficulty I've found with 0 AI learning they throw the puck on net a little more which helps but I may have to test that a little more. These defensive sliders really help I feel like the biggest problem is the User AI offense always has more shots then the opposing team, you need to find a way to limit the game speed and your own offense's shots which is messed up. I just wish they still had the shot-aggressiveness slider that would fix a lot.
I have played goalie since nhl 12 and im so happy how theyve changed the feel of being real goalie. However, AI goalies feel like theyre gods by being always in the right position and they can move more precise and faster than a human goalie and always being infront of the puck(if not screen). They need to change that somehow (maybe add delay or something). Ive myself only changed the sliders so that in the goalie section have put the reaction times for human goalie much more better for the same reasons you said. Then I have put pass max speed much slower because I think its too high to take in note that you cant move that fast with goalie or even react. And lastly ofc game speed 1-3. I havent figured out yet how to save more breakaways because the AI players are like I said gods and move that puck at the speed of a light :D. Nice video.

Hahaha yeah, I've heard from other people as well, that these worked for 21, but for 22 it was totally different.

Nice
Are these the goalie setting use now?
Yup. I just suck at being a Goalie haha.
@@dmac26official nah I suck at being an goalie can't seem to find good settings
Hey so what setting actually effects the cpu's shot taking ability, is it agression?

@@vigilantgopher9563 I absolutely agree.
I would love to get good at these games, sadly I just can’t get the time
I just want settings so I can be a really good goalie even if I’m bad at it and get like 30 shots but that’s all impossible
Goalie!?!?! Goalie!?!?!
Beginning on Thursday! 🙂
