Never played nhl game or watched hockey before in my life but this game here is a really fun slept on game. You can body slam and cross up the opponent’s it’s really a blast. Only thing that is really difficult for me is making goals
Yes please make offense & defence tips and tricks. This video was awesome, noticed it’s very competitive online these first couple days playing, a more in depth video would be great 👍 Keep up the great work
I'll buy an NHL every few years when enough changes have been mad. People buy their games every year and that's why EA is so lazy. EA needs to improve how they make their sports games.
Hockey strategy has always confused me. Within 2 years of watching NFL football I had a pretty good idea of football strategy. I've watched hockey (though not as much) for 30 years now and it still goes by too quick for me, maybe because in football the play starts with players standing still and you can see the play diagram, while in hockey it's always constant motion. Also, strategies like "Offensive Bias" and "Defensive Pressure..." Okay does that mean offensive PLAYERS or offensive ZONE? Because two players may be called defensemen yet when the other team has the puck, all 5 of your players play defense, so I don't get the distinction. I think I play fairly well at Semi-Pro to Pro level (if I want a good challenge), I don't do the fancy dekes and don't really worry too much about specific plays and that's how I like it, but I wish I could find videos that explain X's and O's strategy, be it in the real NHL or in this game.
I think it is (right one/right back) it is intended for passing over defenders looking to steal the pass but isn't as accurate as a regular pass across the ice...
@@joseyjenkins6049 Yeah, that's probably what you would call it, maybe practice that when defenders get in between a two on one while trying to shoot a one timer! I still need to test this out actually, I just use it to clear the puck on penalties so CPU doesn't start hammering shoots on me but then again sometimes I'll even press the shot button to clear the puck out of my offensive zone while I'm shorthand and getting pummeled in my defensive zone.
Its wierd....online everyone uses 94 controls and its infuriating. I remember being told its rewarding to play hybrid. But when I hear the opposing horn.....i am so quick to pause and change back.....any tips from some vets.....what scheme should I use and practice?
I'm confused as to what you're saying. I don't know of anyone who uses 94 controls or really even hybrid. Skill stick is the way to go. It takes a bit of getting used to but it offers so much more control that you'd never be able to compete with using 94 controls.
Every year the game gets smarter and that is what let's skill players really get the best of the game. If you play the way you would in real hockey, every year EA makes small changes to that and I think that's where they are heading
It's really good though. I skip every other year with sports games so the changes are amazing for me from 19 to 21. Just wait for the Black Friday sale there always is one. I know you can pick up Madden 21 on Amazon right now for 30 bucks hopefully they'll have a sale for NHL 21 soon.

I cannot watch replay because it says I need to be the lead profile. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue.
