@@ryda9145 Hey! Thanks for stopping by 🙂 Usually I post goalie sliders, for the newest NHL game. But this year, I haven't actually played as a Goalie. I still might mess around with it, and play with the sliders. But as of right now, I'm just as new to it as you. Haha. Only things I would suggest, if your plan is to up the difficulty, would be to maybe slow down game speed a little bit. Maybe up the save reaction time, and cross crease reaction time for humans by 3 or 4. If you up the difficulty. 🙂
This has finally solved the issue of the cpu going literal Ultra Instinct during normal games playing on all star. I prefer to use a little more closer to HUT game play so I keep the speed on 2 and increase acceleration to 60
I’m late to the party but wanted to thank you for your hard work on these sliders I am loving them. I had 2 questions…what’s the period length, penalty time scaling and coincidental penalty settings for this set? Also, are things under the rules tab and other tabs left at default since game style is set to full sim? Thank you again!
Yeah. I basically left the rules section default on full sim. Period length is 7 minutes. And both penalty time scaling is at 2. I find any higher than that, and any PP or PK is pretty much a sure goal. Clock slows down, too much. And it also just increases the game length too much. I like me a good 35ish minute game, in Franchise Mode. (The only mode I play on my own time) 🙂🙃
This is a problem that tons of people have had. When you're at your Be a Pro menu. And you click Play Next Game. A few options come up. Custom, 10 Min Periods, 20 Min Periods, etc. If you click Custom, all of your sliders and settings will be used. If you click on any of the other options, the sliders and setting go back to the Default settings. I made this mistake several times before I figured it out hahaha. Hope this solves your problem! 🙂
I plugged these franchise mode sliders into my franchise save and used the slower skating speed shown briefly since i'm in season 2025-2026 now. I would like to make adjustments on shots against. I played one game (admittedly not enough sample but still) and got these stats: Score 6 - 1 shots 23 - 20 TOA 7:51 - 3:19 Passing 80.1% - 91.8% faceoffs won 13 - 15 penalties 1/1 - 0/1 I would like to make a slight adjustment to shots against, i'd like 25-30 shots against. the TOA is more than double for me than the AI. do you have a suggestion on what to adjust to fix this? What I admittedly is searching for is a slider set with realistic shots to goals ratio so that my goalkeepers get more realistic GAA and Save-%.
I know that a lot of it depends on how you play the game. I will say, basically no matter what I've done, the TOA is ALWAYS highly lopsided, in my favor. I can't find a fix for that. But I think that for the most part, it's because the AI opponent is more likely to rush the zone and just shoot for a Rebound, rather than get set and cycle. Which is what I do. But for the most part, I try being slightly less aggressive, when I don't have the puck. And try to avoid "cheese goals" On defense, I try to stay in position, and keep them to the outside, if possible. But allow them to shoot. Just force them to shoot from where I want them to. Like bad angles. Generally speaking, I end up with scores like 3-2, or 4-2, or the occasional 5-1 and what not. And the shots are usually like 31-30. Like I said. It's all about what tendencies you have, while playing, I suppose. These are just the sliders that give the best results, for me, personally.
@@dmac26official i went back to my previous sliders and adjusted shooting accuratacy and goalie reaction times. The main question was what you would recommend i adjust to get more shots against, not so much the TOA. I also don't understand how you get 30 shots against on Pro. I dont get that even on superstar. If I am less aggressive in my own zone it makes the AI score instead so for instance the AI score 3 goals on like 15 shots total over a game. That makes the save percentage really unrealistic.
@@marcusberggren9241 I have no problem getting 30 shots against per game. But when the AI come in to my defensive zone. I stay close, but usually don't throw the hit. Using some defensive skill stick, moving my stick near him, but not actually trying to take the puck off of him. Usually that will give the opponent a lower accuracy shot, because the shot is being contested slightly by the Defenseman.
Thank you for this! I am going to try these for my 2nd season with my new team the Florida Panthers! I demanded a trade as I did not want to play for Seattle… 😂
*how do i fix* franchise mode (only sim): top players like mcdavid, etc. scoring no higher than 90 points thru 82 games. how do i adjust the sliders in which top players score 110+ points, even 120+ points without decimating goalie statistics-where their save percentages are still .910 to .930. basically, how do i increase the scoring but also increase the shots to balance out goalie statistics. preciate it!
For full sim Franchises. I'd turn up attribute effects to 10. Fatigue up. Leave injuries at like 30. Hmm. Probably turn goalie reaction sliders up to like... 53. Sadly, this game has mostly been trash when it comes to superstar players and their yearly season stats. They just absolutely cannot make McDavid sim properly.
Great sliders my dude. Quick question, I created a team for Franchise Mode and jersey names and numbers do not show up it's incredibly annoying has this happened to you in 22 or do you have any ways to fix this bug??

I am new and I just barely bought nhl 22 could you do something for rookies and explain everything because I'm having a lot of trouble with Puck control like they don't want to handle it
For someone just starting out. Puck Control could be a huge issue. If you're completely new to the games. I would suggest dropping the difficulty down to amateur or pro. Maybe drop attribute sliders down to the default 5 out of 10. And as your player levels up, and you get Skill Points, put them into the Puck Control slots. Until your Puck Control hits about 81 or 82 overall, the puck very easily leaves your stick, and can be hard to control. Pushing L3 and using your speed burst will make that worse. Drop the attribute effects and difficulty down, and that should compensate, until you get more comfortable with the game. And then level up the difficulty as you improve. 🙂
@@dmac26official thank you but even when I'm playing I'm still getting my butt beat and it seems like any player I play cannot handle the puck whatsoever spending way too much time trying to defend and not be scored upon and still getting my ass kicked
Do the sliders affect how the rest of the league simulates in Be A Pro? I’m finding that league scoring is low and can’t find a way to increase it. Any ideas?😀
Yes, the sliders effect how the rest of the league simulates. Unfortunately, for Be a Pro, you can't set sim scoring to low, medium, or high, like you can with Franchise Mode. This is a problem that has plagued Be a Pro for years. You'll have a 150 point season, and the next closest person, that is NOT on your team, will have 94 points haha. I would suggest maybe turning DOWN the goalie sliders to maybe 47 or 48. But just know, that it'll be substantially easier for you, and the rest of your team to score as well.
@@dmac26official thanks for the clarification. Yea I was going crazy trying to find the sim scoring setting.. now I know I won’t find it lol. I’ll take your suggestions and play around with the sliders some more. Cheers!
I’m playing on superstar full sim with my 90 OVR Center on the Kraken but I’m getting like 4 goals per game and I have 45 Points in 11 Games. What sliders should I use to make it more balanced?
Wow haha congrats on the point totals. Umm, I think if you went into the Goalie sliders, and upped the Reaction Time sliders from 50 to like... 53, that would help. Also go into Shooting, and lower all accuracies by 2 or 3, that makes a big difference. And then, go into the AI sliders, and up the CPU Difficulty by a bit, and maybe up the CPU Strategy Adjustment. That will make your opponent much more frustrating and difficult to play against. But as a whole, sadly, EA NHL is basically always on Rookie, once you hit 87 or 88 overall. You're just too good. And everything you try after that point just basically works out the way you want it to, because you're a bona-fide superstar. 🙂🙃
If you're starting on Superstar. I would suggest leaving the goalie sliders at the default settings of 50. And would recommend NOT putting Attribute effects on 10/10. You can try that. But in my experience. Your AI teammates will also take much more penalties, as well. So it stays a little one sided, regardless. If you have control of the puck, and do a lot of puck protecting, in tight, with opponents, thats the best way to draw penalties.

What happened to this game, it leeks getting worse year after year. Is anyone else having lucky with this slider set?
These Sliders absolutely will not work for Goalie. Goalie needs its own special set of sliders. I haven't really touched Goalie in Be a Pro in NHL 22. But if you do a Google search, there are likely tons of them out there. I did some Goalie sliders for NHL 21, but I imagine they won't work as well for NHL 22.

Usually superstar for Be a Pro. But when I'm just starting, at like 67 overall, I'll put it down on All Star just until I grow a bit. Franchise Mode, I usually do Pro difficulty with the AI Difficulty Sliders at 6/6. Simply because, when I'm playing my own personal Franchise Mode, I like to play a bit more realistic. Not quite as aggressive. I can play on All Star OR Superstar, on Franchise Mode. But I just find it VERY ragey. And I'd rather be calm and just have fun. Haha. @@leo421loveselevators Hmm. I suppose you could turn up the CPU penalty sliders a bit. But that works both ways. Your CPU teammates would also take more penalties.
Please help. Playing bap goalie on ps4, where do I start?? Only getting 4-5 shots a period and getting Sniped 5-6 times a game. All shots are from a crowd right in front and getting scored on in the last 30 sec of every period. In great position and shots are right on me before the goalie moves.
@@dmac26official There only a few people out there that are putting out 22 BAP sliders. The whole BAP is just broken. I haven't been able to play a game and have anything close to having stats or play that looks remotely real.
Cool
What's your period length for be a pro?
For Be a Pro it's 10 minute periods.
Does this work for goalie bap
I can't speak for goalie be a pros. But I'm sure that in a little while, I'll have a Goalie sliders video, out. 🙂🙃
What difficulty you play on?
Usually superstar for Be a Pro. But when I'm just starting, at like 67 overall, I'll put it down on All Star just until I grow a bit.
Franchise Mode, I usually do Pro difficulty with the AI Difficulty Sliders at 6/6.
Simply because, when I'm playing my own personal Franchise Mode, I like to play a bit more realistic. Not quite as aggressive.
I can play on All Star OR Superstar, on Franchise Mode. But I just find it VERY ragey. And I'd rather be calm and just have fun. Haha. I set it up, so that it's not lopsided or anything, though.
