well,...Zeku ONLY appears in the SF Games (in Guys Alpha 2 ending and here in SFV So i guess Final fight is Good (i Honestly think of Zeku as a Street fight character more than a final fight Character)
kitty mona Yeah this is one funky ass theme. It reminds me of the holiday stage which for me has some of the best music in the game. It’s been my main menu BGM since it released. It’s a fitting theme for this character since he seriously looks great and crazy.
zeku is probably a contender for my fav newcomer in sfv and one of my fav sf characters overall. They did such a good job expressing his personallity in his look and animations, give him a unique playstyle that even refrences a different fan favorite character, and even give him a great theme to top it off
I simply loved this song... it has the heavy influence he had on Guy, but as his own flavor, he just have a very care free/serious/saxy mood of control, what a cool character, for real...
it was keeping me up all night cause i couldnt find the Final Fight reference in the theme. Even Poison had a Final Fight reference, but you had to remember the FF Continue theme to recognize it...but this was Strider the whole time.
Zeku, the original Strider. Strider timeline connection with Street Fighter, Rival School, Final Fight & Captain Commando confirmed then. Cap Commando & Hiryu should have been added to SFA3’s 30 Anniversary/Final Update along w/ Violent Ken, Decapre, Yang, Kyosuke & 4 Darkstalker guests (Morrigan, Felicia, Hsien-Ko & Lord Raptor)
Many fighting games have good music to accent the gameplay, but nobody does it better than Capcom in my opinion! The style variety is unparalleled! Love the Strider reference at 1:44!
SFIV Soundtrack is overall trash so I disagree. Also they remix the same old SFII themes over and over, 3S was the last SF title where they went all out and showed their creativity.
Well I'd say SNK is at least on par, but definitely blew them out of the water in the 90's. To the commenter above me, I dont know why that bugs people. I think of it the same way I think of wrestling intro themes or tv show themes, they are iconic and represent the essence of the character. I mean, no one complains when you hear a new remix of Geese's theme in a new SNK game, because its just as much a part of his character as wearing red hakama. I'm fine with them reusing familiar themes, though I'd love to hear remixes of the Marvel vs Street Fighter themes in future games as alternatives as well.
SF V OST is a kickass ost, so different styles included juri's theme (i know sfiv is better) but i love the dark industrial techno sound (reminds me the "UNDERWORLD, Dark And Long" theme from Trainspotting movie), Waterfall theme is so nice with the andean instruments style, kanzuki stage theme, brazil theme, etc
Jamel Moore Yup. SF5 has the best variety I’ve heard in a fighting game this gen. SF4 sounded like they only had one composer, much like MVCI. SF5 though sounds like they got a bunch of people to produce the music. So many godlike stage themes in this game and Zeku’s character theme is legendary already. When it comes to characters, no one does them like Capcom. Everyone else relies too heavily on trying to be edgelords, like those in GG, but Capcom has a wacky cast full of diversity and personality. SF5’s soundtrack is probably my favorite in any SF.
Whoever composed this should have been hired to do MvCI OST rather then the travesty we got now. Also you guys clearly forgot what third strike music sounds like as this sounds nothing like third strike.

This theme was SF6 before SF6 came out. I know it's unlikely he would be allowed to return, but I feel like the character would fit SF6 incredibly well too. Can only hope.
Ik this isn't related to zekus theme and all, but zekus critical art is a precursor to the style that sf6 focuses with their critical arts to all characters in the roster. If you didn't know.

It reminds me of that one rap someone did to Cody's theme for SSF4, but official. Menat: Mysterious and fun, but never really peaks as high as it feels like it should. I probably don't think too highly of this theme because I haven't listened to it a lot, but I can still tell it's better than the other 3. Akuma: The worst version of his theme, but not complete garbage. I don't mind it when I hear it. The wub-step isn't too aggregious for me. 1:44 I really love this small leitmotif of the Strider theme, as a reference to Zeku's alternate form being a reference to Strider Hiryu.
It goes deeper than that, as his story ending implies that Zeku will be the founder of the Striders.
