Tekken, Skullgirls, guilty gear, dnf, the smash remixes of classic songs, a decent amount of other games that I just can't recall rn. The music and the vibes fit the time and are worthy of recognition, but to just straight up say that one is conclusively better than the other is a bit silly. Music changes with time and while I love the old stuff, new fighting game music ain't so bad.

Plus again, it's a matter of preferences and how music generally changes with the time. It is also easier to think of a bad modern track because it is remembered because it's recent, meanwhile compared to the classics that have had the benefit of having the majority of the bad songs forgotten because of their lack of relevancy.
