I really hope Capcom hires Daniel Lindholm for future installations, I wasn’t excited this much for Street Fighter soundtracks since the EX saga, but the man really set the standards very high with Menat, Ed, Zeku, etc, literally the best tracks on SFV are made by him. I really congratulate him as a musician and I really wanna thank him because you know, music is mostly one of the most memorable components on a video game, music is the section of the game that we all can universally enjoy when they do it right and hell those themes are so right! ✨

I'd like to see some "Menat's Bizarre Adventures". Given how Rose is her master and she's bazed off of Lisa Lisa, I think they would both have some really funny and unique misadventures. ^_^

Took me about a day after the trailer came out to make the same connection. As I watched the trailer over and over, I couldn't help but hear something familiar about it. And then it hit me, Spyro! Fun Fact- The music from the original Sypro games was made by former Police drummer Stewart Copeland.
We get it, guys. Viola from Soul Calibur. Didn't know Bandai Namco had owned the rights to use fortune tellers and their iconic crystal balls. Now can we get to judging this character on her own merits and not as nothing more than a copy-paste job? Or do I need to remind people that Viola from Soul Calibur herself is a copy of other characters in fighting games and isn't as 100% original as people like to think
Not to mention Street Fighter invented much of the staples of the genre... In a way, every fighting games copied Street Fighter (including something now considered very basic : the combo )
She's either a Rose clone or a Viola clone with purple hair and darker skin to most people. Her theme is more unique than her to be honest. There are no "own martits" here dude lol.
Considering her mentor IS Rose herself, it makes sense her fighting style would be similar, same as how Ed's fighting style is similar to Balrog's but with Psycho Power thrown in. But her mechanic is that she has exactly one boomerang projectile that she must call back to use it again, effectively making her a sort of stance character. As for Viola, I could just as easily say she is a ripoff of Litchi in Blazblue, only replace "Crystal Ball" with "Staff". Same concept here. All it is is a different implementation of the same idea. Menat is not the first to copy this type of fighting style, Viola is not the first to use it, and Menat will not be the last.
