@@Coach4.5.0 if your using stock cranks it’s important to “true” them if there not they won’t get oiled correctly from the stator side, I also use Carrillo rods or crank works rods depending on power application.

That’s weird, my 2014 has retainer on the right side just like the left. Wonder if they changed that in 08 too?
06’ and up all have bearing retainers of some sort.
Where did you purchase all the bearings from?
What's the setup with the crank.
Are you referring to the right side engine case? We machine the cases to accept an upgraded bearing retainer
