There are quite a few young players like him coming up. They turn the gain knob down, and they get down to some really cool jazzy and blues style licks, and some really pretty chord progressions. As a guitar player, it makes me really happy. I just ordered this guitar in white. I can’t wait, until it’s here. 🤘🏽
@@alexfvcruz Immediate oxymoron. It doesn't take a lifetime to become as good as he is; it just takes a really long time and an insane amount of dedication.

It was awful being their neighbor- but you could hear the skill once over your own irritation. This tele sounds really nice to me. Liking the warmth- and there’s no irritation to get past here.
I must have watched dozens of reviews of the Ultra, and this is the first time on video that I've managed to see that colour variance that players talk about, so well done to you. Enjoyed watching & listening to your opinions on this lovely guitar. Thank you from Australia.
Just got the Jazzmaster in MochaBurst ...A+ guitar. Totally happy with everything about it. Outstanding craftsmanship and sounds...Might have to grab this one too in Tx Tea. They’ll likely make these for a year or so? Then phase the series out? I think they’ve possibly peaked on this Ultra series so I’d say get one now if you’re so inclined.
Texas Tea is oil!! Black gold!! This guy could make a hundred dollar guitar sound great. I like these ultras, particularly the telecaster. Not that the Strats don't sound great as well. I've owned a 52 hotrod with the Seymour Duncan hot rod in the neck position which I really liked but from what I've heard from these demos, I would have to say there's a certain sound coming out of these that I don't know how to describe other than the custom shop Gibson Les Pauls really have. I know those are very different over all but that certain chime under tone resonation is just there. Maybe someone with a better sense of description will know what I'm trying to describe. These ultras just have that & though I've been in the market for a custom shop LP 58 or 59, I have to say I'm very tempted to just go with this tele and save 3 grand. I have the strat ultra plus from the 90s with the lace pick ups that I like but again I have to say that I believe history will at some point designate these ultras as more desirable. Originally I liked the cobra blue with the maple necks just because I really like that color combination, but the more I see this Texas Tea color, the more I'm beginning to lean towards them. I gave my 52 hot rod tele away and I do miss it. I'm not strictly a Strat or tele guy as I really do love the Gibson 58 or 59 replica LP from the custom shop. I may regret not following through to own a very nice Les Paul and I havnt fully decided yet but I hav to say the ultra tele sound is a very strong temptation at this point. There's no doubt players of this quality sale guitars and fender definitely chose the right player to demonstrate this telecaster.
01/09/2020: Nice review for a very nice UltraTelecaster guitar with contoured heal and belly-cut, and other cool features. However, I think the new Noiseless Pickups are thin and tinny sounding. The Fender S-4 pickups were better. Also, Fender missed one feature that would inticed me to buy this guitar at $1,888.99. They needed to add a sloping contour for the comfort of the right arm area as on Stratocasters. Telecasters are too box-like with sharp body squared-off edges, and not comfortable to play. Change that feature in 2020 and it would be perfect!
You like the pick guard? Man, now I'm convinced. I mean a good looking piece of plastic has totally sold me. Hell, you can keep the neck and body and the tuners and pickups too. I just want that pick guard.
The pick guard in the Texas Tea Ultra isn’t made of plastic. It’s anodized aluminum. It’s somewhat unique which is probably why he talked about it in the video.
I think fender was going for Oil by naming it Texas Tea but now that you mention the long Island tea, it's definitely made me thirsty (; Anyone from Texas knows right off what Texas Tea is & its a bit humorous watching people try to describe that color not knowing just what exactly Texas Tea is! Texas Tea..... Black gold (; (;
Glad he used the guitar this way but it’s nice to know we all use it differently. And it is the ultimate guitar ever made. I Rock the F outta this guitar.
Trust me, us Tele Players think the same thing about the Strat, except we think it looks to big and weird haha, but there have been models of both guitars with the others headstock. Also if you really want it bad enough, you can either buy the different neck from Fender or Warmoth, and just switch it. That's the great thing about bolt on necks.
Guitar Center has 12 month+ financing on all guitar brands EXCEPT Ibanez guitars. WTH? I want to buy an Ibanez but they don't give you any financial plans like all the other brands OR like other dealers. WTH?
"This guitar, this Tele here, I love... the pick guard." LOL! Not the tone, not the sound, not the neck feel, not the things that matter more - the pick guard. Good job Fender for another mediocre guitar series.
It really doesn't sound like a tele. The bridge is likely to blame. Misses those saddles. My squire cv50 tele sounds more like a vintage fender tele than this does.

I love his playing and how he showcases the versatility of the telecaster
Isaiah Sharkey is a tremendous player, wow.
Isiah does a nice job of showing the versatility of the Ultra Tele and is a nice player too!
man this guy has a great laid back attitude and tasteful playing style.
This guy is a monster guitar player wow.
Very articulate and talented young man. Expect great things from him in the future.
man he's like virtuoso on the guitar damn, I wanna play like that
@Forallofus Plenty yeah to play alongside John Mayer he has to be
@BundesRepublic Murica hm yeah, but this is lifetime like dedication.

Lovely guitar and you play it well Brother! Thanks for sharing !
He has flow and musicality even when he speaks.
Everything he did can grab our attention.
No doubt! This guy could play a Squire and have people wanting a squire immediately thereafter (;
Fantastic demo of this guitar!
Love his playing.

Im 100% convinced that the mocha burst fits the jazzmaster better than the tele. Really gorgeous on the jazzmaster
Nice playing. Sweet looking guitar too.

My first impressions? : they paid me a lot to do this = it's freaking amazing guitar!
Lol, "Texas Tea" is not actually tea, it's oil! :)
There's also a variation on long island iced tea called Texas Tea. Do we know which one fender was going for?

I would like to see them take this near black color and use different tints in it. A near black red, or blue etc. Same pick guard etc
I am a fan...Wow!
Swinging towards buying this in the tt colour. Hard to find one in the uk at the minute. Nice playing ✌️
Very nice!
06/27/2020: What do you think of Fender Noiseless pickups for Spank, Quack, and CountryTwang sounds without using a delay, reverb, compression pedal?
Which one would you recommand : the original 50 or the ultra?
Ultra, with the S1 switch you have far more tonal potential, and the pups are noiseless, the 50's tele is going to sound like a 50's.
I think it will be cleaner sounding because new electronics, but the 50’s vintage will be just be a solid musical sounding piece.
Texas Tea = Crude oil. Not actual tea. Wonderful color.
Anyone know why "plasma red" isn't available?
beautifull ❤️🙏🇧🇷
I’m a beginner ,if I get this will I be able to play like you ? 🤪🎸🤙
Yes
The jazz guy Siiiick I’m signing up !!🤙
maybe not even in 10 years, his playing is so clean I thought this was prerecorded and edited on a DAW.
This guy can spank that plank He is great
Has this MONSTER gone TOO FAR!!?
The pickguard was the first/best thing he could mention about the guitar? I still want one.
Wow , ill snatch a used one in a couple of months.
Isiah will make a tree sounds sweet

I’d love to see a Tele with a headstock similar to a mid sized strat one. I’ve always thought it looked oddly small and kinda weirdly shaped.

luis roman This is so true lmao Strat headstocks seem really strange to me
love that shape...
The Parallel universe series were edging on this concept
The pickups don't care what the type of wood the neck or the body is made from partner. So the whole bit about maple necks being brighter is nonsense.
No lefty version.
Dont like the word crisp unless i say it

but it highlights the natural guitar sound..
