Hi there, if you push a finger in each side of the plastic badge, you can easily push the rear plastic clip upwards and push the entire badge out towards the front. You can than repeat the process that you did, off the car on a bench, much easier to line everything up . I did my S3 which has the earlier slatted grille and less space to work with between the slats.
My plastic badge is significantly bigger than yours and we have identical grill. Bought the same black kit yet kit itself is twice as smaller than the badge. Not really sure whats going on

You can buy the badge that just clips on and off
What did you glue it with?
The kit is for a honeycomb grill. That's what the other parts are for. 👍

Would the process be similar with the S badge on the E-Tron? 🤔
