Remiving the plastic tabs on the side was impossible for me any advise?
You didn’t say if the backer panel gets reinstalled or the food on the crash at stays/goes.
Do you put the polystyrene panel back in front of the crash bar?

You can just pop them out from the front. No no need to remove bumper
